Chapter 30 - "Rise, Aura"

The clouds hung heavy above the forest, and the cold wind swept between the trees as if whispering a warning—

"You're leaving everything familiar behind."

Aura lifted his eyes to the sky. Falco's wings shimmered faintly under the dim sunset, gleaming like a silent roar preparing to break free.

Aura's voice was steady, though fear pulsed deep in his chest.

> "Alright… let's begin."

Falco smirked, his golden eyes flickering with quiet mischief.

> "Hope won't wait—and neither should you. Stay sharp… the world out here plays by different rules."

In a blur of motion, Falco shifted into his full form.

His translucent wings unfurled wide, catching the last breath of light.

The sudden gust scattered the silence of the woods.

Aura felt a strange surge flow through him—his heart racing with every beat of Falco's wings.

> "Good. Stay ready. Now… you'll learn what it means to fly through shadows."

Falco lifted Aura off the ground, the wind slashing across his face.

The treetops swayed below like they were waving him farewell.

> "Ready?"

Aura clenched his fists, his new golden hair glinting with each breath.

> "Ready."

Falco's wings moved with slow precision—then they soared.

It was Aura's first true flight.

Below them, the vast capital stretched far beyond the horizon: distant, untamed, pulsing with life and danger.

The towers rose high like spears of light.

Smoke and twilight interwove above the city, painting a vision that seemed to challenge him silently:

"You're coming here—but you won't leave the same."

Falco circled around him, his tone now that of a mentor.

> "Aura… you need to learn how to move through chaos unseen.

One mistake, and they'll find you.

Right now—you're too weak for this city."

Fear lingered in Aura's chest, but his gaze hardened.

> "Then I'll stop being weak. Seven months from now—I'll be the strongest one here."

From afar, the capital revealed itself fully—crowded markets, towering spires, and endless rivers of people.

No one knew he was coming.

Everything was set for the first true trial—of flight, deception, and discovery.

Falco hovered near, his voice calm and certain.

> "Then it begins. The capital awaits—and your first task… is to survive it."

The horizon opened wide before them, the wind shifting as if carrying a promise:

Change. Power. Challenge.

Aura closed his eyes for a moment, drew a deep breath, and knew—

the road ahead would break him or remake him.

But it was his choice to walk it.
