A surge of emotion flickered in his eyes.
But she turned her face away directly, looking as if she couldn't care less about him.
Dirk Carter was anxious.
He gripped Shawn Lambert's face tightly.
In a harsh voice, he asked, "Answer my question, you know this person, don't you? She's wearing the same clothes as you."
"Why should I tell you?"
Shawn Lambert asked.
Dirk Carter raised his fist, ready to swing down.
Suddenly he froze.
"I don't hit women, consider yourself lucky."
Dirk Carter said.
Hearing this, Shawn Lambert felt a bit triumphant, glaring at Dirk Carter with a provocative look.
"Rose, did you buy the stuff I asked you to get?"
"I bought it."
Rose Forrest handed over a plastic bag.
Dirk Carter sat on the bed frame, picking out each item inside.
