Bored, Elsie Eames found a library, casually drew a book, and hid in the corner to read.

She didn't know how long had passed.

With a creak, the library door was pushed open.

A man walked in.

"Miss Elsie truly is the cornerstone of the city's TV station, not forgetting to read even on New Year's Day. Admirable, really admirable."

The person who entered was none other than Bjorn Dixon.

Elsie Eames glanced at him and coldly asked, "Is County Mayor Dixon here to read too?"

Bjorn Dixon pulled a book from the shelf, flipped a few pages, and said, "Although I didn't find wealth in these pages, today I've seen a beauty beyond compare. Miss Elsie's beauty is truly captivating."

The sycophantic words exasperated Elsie Eames.

She asked, "Do you need something? If not, please leave and don't disturb my reading!"

Bjorn Dixon not only didn't leave.

He instead sat down beside Elsie Eames.
