Yvonne Donovan wanted to show off her skills, but she didn't expect Dirk Carter to humiliate her.
She was still fuming.
Pouting, she said, "Nothing, just messing with you on purpose."
After saying that,
she angrily got into the car.
Rolling down the window, she said to Dirk Carter, "Aren't you so capable? Walking down the mountain shouldn't be too hard for you, right?"
Dirk Carter was speechless.
If he had known this woman was so petty, he wouldn't have provoked her.
He thought Yvonne Donovan was just venting and wouldn't actually leave him behind.
Unexpectedly, she really started the car, hit the gas, and sped away.
"Damn it, they're all shrews!"
Dirk Carter muttered.
He began to miss the women in Serenity State and Riverton State.
At least they were gentle and kind, unlike the few he met in Argentum, who were all snobs.
