Chapter 163 - Chapter 157: Thanos Arrives

The huge palm condensed from the Light of Fear grabbed the extending divine power tentacles like a bunch of weeds and pulled hard.

Boom boom boom.

One by one, the divine power tentacles were snapped.

His attempt to pull the spaceship down failed. He encountered an enemy in his million-year life who was rarely able to contend with him. Ego frowned, staring at Ron in the starry sky.

"Who are you? Why are you here?"

Is it a coincidence?

Just as the plan was about to be implemented, a rare strong person came to him, emitting psychic power to try and probe his situation?

"Could it be that my Celestial Flower, rooted on other Planets, has been discovered, and someone has noticed my plan?"

The more critical the moment, the more cautious and suspicious one must be.

"Me?"

Hearing Ego ask his identity, Ron smiled, "I heard there's a living Planet here, so I came to see it."

He waved his hand backward, signaling Jane and Daisy and the others to retreat with the spaceship to avoid being affected.

"See it?

What do you take me for?" Ego snorted coldly, his powerful divine might sweeping through the starry sky, and a vast divine light emerged from the Planet.

The surface was covered under the divine light, and at this point, he resembled a living creature more than a Planet.

He opened his mouth wide, and a vast torrent of divine power surged out, mighty and overwhelming, rushing forward.

"Die!"

On the spaceship tens of thousands of miles away, Daisy and the others watched the astonishing scene, almost suffocating.

That torrent of divine power was more majestic than any river they had ever seen.

The roaring, surging divine power made people tremble even tens of thousands of miles away.

Even the previous battle between Ron and the Great Serpent, which was broadcast live worldwide, was not as shocking as this.

Their hearts tightened, and Jane and Daisy couldn't help but worry.

Karina, who had never seen Ron make a move and was unaware of Ron's strength, was even more horrified and terrified.

This is a God?

Did she just escape from there, saved by her current good Master, only to lose him again?

"As expected of one who claims to devour the Universe."

An unprecedentedly powerful enemy, Ron was slightly surprised in his heart.

Ego's plan, excluding the exaggerated parts, Ego's so-called devouring and assimilating the Universe merely referred to devouring tens of thousands of living Planets in the Universe, not all celestial bodies in the Universe.

And it was only to devour and assimilate the surface.

However, even so, it was still an Earth-shattering power, and Ego's power did not disgrace the name of the Celestials.

He unleashed the power of fear, transforming into a yellow Sun, condensing a towering body far surpassing any mountain.

Even compared to Ego's body, he still appeared small.

Boom!

Ron opened his palm, activating the Power Stone, and a torrent of violent and domineering purple energy blasted out.

Like two dazzling galaxies colliding in space.

The vast and boundless energy, if placed in the solar system, would be enough to destroy the Moon, and any energy ripple it stirred up, if it landed on a small Planet, would make it tremble.

"It's... it's blocked!"

Karina's bright eyes widened, her face filled with shock.

An attack launched by a Celestial could actually be blocked.

Jane and Daisy were also surprised.

Even though they had witnessed Ron's power many times before.

But this time, Ron's performance greatly refreshed their understanding of Ron's strength.

"No wonder Ron had to come to the Universe.

Is it because Earth can no longer contain his power?"

Daisy opened her mouth and said.

The impact and repercussions of Ron and Ego's clash, if it were to happen on Earth, would be immeasurable.

It would probably be impossible without shattering one or two continents.

"Infinity Stone?"

Seeing Ron block his attack, Ego was somewhat surprised; he sensed the power within the purple torrent.

"You can unleash the Power Stone's might to such an extent.

It shows you are not weak. Why don't you use your own power?"

"Are you afraid?"

He stopped spewing the divine power torrent, and huge tentacles made of divine power on his planetary body swayed and danced wildly.

This made him look like a giant monstrous octopus stretching across space, its tentacles lashing out like whips.

"The Power Stone has infinite power.

Why should I expend my own power?"

Ron sneered, condensing a lightsaber generator in his hand.

Whir!

With a press of a button, destructive purple power condensed into a beam, forming a lightsaber.

He wielded the lightsaber, slashing at the tentacles and engaging in battle.

With the current strength of his body, the power of the Power Stone he could unleash was not much different from his full-strength attack with the power of fear.

However, the Power Stone can connect to the entire Universe, and its power is endless; there's no reason not to use it, why waste his limited power of fear.

The two battled in the starry sky, and the constantly erupting energy ripples swept tens of thousands of miles.

"Damn it!"

The attacks, like a violent storm, were precisely blocked by that lightsaber.

After more than ten minutes, since he gained consciousness, the Celestial Ego had never faced an enemy with such full effort, yet he couldn't take him down for half a day.

"You may leave."

He thought for a moment, then suddenly retracted his tentacles, no longer attacking, and said in a muffled voice, "I'll let you leave."

He originally wanted to kill Ron to silence him, but now, seeing the strength Ron displayed, this silencing was not something he could easily achieve as he had imagined.

It was completely unprofitable.

At worst, he would wait for Ron to leave, then move his body away from here, find a place completely unknown to anyone, and then resume his plan.

Although he had roamed the Universe, viewing life as ants, and had never given way before, he had no choice but to do so for the sake of his plan.

"Ridiculous!"

Facing Ego's words, Ron sneered, his face full of killing intent as he swung his lightsaber and charged.

"Fight when you want to fight, and not fight when you don't.

Is your brain underdeveloped because you were a premature birth, thinking that everything in the Universe is decided by you?"

As the unique life form in the Universe, the Celestial Ego's arrogance was ingrained in his bones. He suddenly launched a killing blow, then suddenly said he would let Ron and the others leave, speaking in a tone as if it were a favor.

Not to mention being attacked earlier, Ron couldn't leave for the sake of ability points.

He lacked templates, and even more, he lacked ability points.

"Solving Ego, who nearly assimilated tens of thousands of living Planets in the Universe in the future, how many ability points will that add?"

He estimated at least several million.

"You want to spare me now, but I don't want to spare you."

Ron swung his lightsaber, cutting through the tentacles, almost reaching Ego's body.

Compared to his divine power tentacles, his crustal body, simply condensed from Earth and rock, was very fragile.

"Worm.

Do you really think I have no way to deal with you?!"

Temporarily put in a somewhat disheveled state, and having been attacked so close, Ego was furious, his divine power surging, and a huge tentacle swept Ron away.

He began to draw out the Celestial power hidden within Quill's body, and his strength continuously increased.

The two re-engaged in a fierce battle, and powerful energy ripples swept across the area.

"It seems I can't save my strength."

In space.

After Ego's strength surged, Ron also stopped holding back, unleashing all the power of fear he controlled, and his body grew even taller.

Ego had not been drawing on Quill's Celestial power, and Ron had not truly used the power of fear.

The two once again returned to a level of equal strength.

Whoosh!

A wormhole opened, and a huge cosmic mothership warped in, appearing not far from the battlefield.

Yondu woke up after Quill left following the wedding, immediately summoned the Raiders mothership, and warped here, wanting to stop Quill.

"Captain, this time you can't cover for that kid Quill anymore, no matter how important his father is.

If he dares to betray us Raiders, we'll kill him!"

Inside the spaceship, some vicious crew members shouted, prompting others to respond continuously.

"Kill him and make him a lavish dinner for us."

"And his father, take his money and throw him into the pot too!"

Many times before, Yondu had secretly covered for Quill's misdeeds, which had caused them much dissatisfaction and long-standing resentment.

As space pirates, how could they betray their interests for emotions?

When the space warp was completed, terrifying energy ripples spread out, and the nearly mile-long cosmic mothership was swept away like a small sampan in a raging sea.

The spaceship shook violently, they stabilized themselves and looked up, "My God, what is that?"

"I saw a Planet fighting with someone?"

"That Planet can actually move!"

The usually cruel and ruthless space pirates collectively froze, stunned like clay sculptures or wooden figures.

They watched the two figures battling like two Gods.

Their souls couldn't help but tremble at that terrifying power.

"That's Quill's father."

Yondu, expressionless, pointed at Ego, who was wielding his divine power tentacles, "How do you plan to eat him?"

"Fried, stir-fried, baked, or stewed with some Water for soup?"

"..."

"Boss, I suddenly feel that Quill is someone we watched grow up together, there's no need to be so cruel." Swallowing, the pirate crew members looked at the living Planet, which was thousands of miles in diameter, and said.

"Yes, yes.

Quill just wants to go back to his father, what did he do wrong?"

"Let's just leave and not disturb their father-son reunion." The others nodded wildly, showing understanding.

"Quill's mother also had it tough."

The crew, their faces pale, wanted to leave.

Yondu, having vented his anger, ignored them and turned back, looking at Ron, who was battling Ego, with uncontainable shock in his eyes.

He knew what kind of guy Ego was, a powerful Celestial freak who had lived for millions of years.

And Ron could actually fight Ego to a standstill.

Yondu recognized Ron; this was the young man he had seen at the Land of Nihility, whom The Collector treated with unusual respect.

He suddenly felt that his cautious decision not to activate his Yaka Arrow and attack back then was truly the most correct thing he had ever done.

A person who could fight a Planet was not someone he could afford to provoke.

Yondu wanted to save Quill, but it seemed there was no opportunity for him to intervene now; he could only wait for this great battle to end.

"The Collector, my people received news that someone who obtained the Power Stone went to the Land of Nihility to find you.

Is this true?"

On the light screen, Thanos, with short White stubble on his chin, asked with his hands behind his back. Even through the light screen, an overwhelming aura of majesty pressed down.

His adopted daughter Gamora had once again disappointed him.

She actually found the Power Stone, but missed it, only bringing back a message of mockery from that person.

"Sanos My Lord, you want that person's whereabouts?"

The Collector said.

"Of course."

"Alright, please wait a moment.

I will have an answer for you very soon."

He sent a message to Ron as instructed by Ron, asking what to do.

Bang!

He blocked several sweeping tentacles.

At the center of his massive, yellow-crystal-like body, Ron raised his arm and glanced at the most advanced communicator in the Universe, which he had obtained from The Collector, resembling a bracelet on his wrist.

"Thanos is asking for my whereabouts?

He still hasn't given up on collecting the Stones."

He thought while consciously controlling his Fear-powered body, wielding his lightsaber to block attacks.

But it wasn't surprising.

Looking back at the enraged and furious Ego, Ron smiled, "Since he wants to come, then let him come."

"Tell Thanos my coordinates."

He wasn't afraid of more excitement.

Anyway, Ron didn't think Thanos, a guy obsessed with saving the Universe, could unite with Ego, who wanted to devour and assimilate the Universe.

Turning off the communication, Ron and Ego continued their great battle, while Thanos, having obtained the desired coordinates, sat on the main ship's throne, commanding the fleet to initiate a space jump.

Continuous space jumps are difficult for ordinary beings to endure and can cause discomfort.

But for the Black Order, who had followed Thanos in slaughtering thousands of Planets, it was no problem at all.

Ron and Ego were both rare powerhouses in the Universe, and their battle would not be decided quickly.

Soon, a massive and cold fleet appeared in space.

In front of the huge spaceship's panoramic window.

"It's him, Father." Gamora, watching the cosmic battle in shock, pointed.

"I see him, my Gamora." Thanos, with his hands behind his back, gazed at the body Ron had transformed into, especially the purple energy lightsaber in his hand, his eyes filled with deep, fervent desire.

"The Power Stone, the Infinity Stone that can most enhance my power among the six!"

Among the six Infinity Stones, except for the most mysterious Soul Stone whose whereabouts he was unsure of, Thanos knew where the others—Space, Mind, Time, and Reality—were.

But the first one he sought was the Power Stone.

Because having the other Stones wouldn't boost his power much; the Power Stone was most important to him.

Behind Thanos, the only three remaining members of the Black Order—Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive, and Proxima Midnight—watched the battle, where power ripples spread for tens of thousands of miles, and were momentarily speechless.

Whether it was the living Planet Ego, whose divine might surged, or Ron, who made people tremble with deep fear just by looking at him.

"How is this possible? There are such powerful beings in the Universe."

During their campaign of slaughtering the Universe with Thanos, they had long believed that nothing in the Universe could hinder the Black Order's advance under Thanos's leadership.

"Ron."

Gazing at the figure that seemed like the embodiment of fear, Thanos softly uttered the name. He lowered his head and looked at his palm, which surged with cosmic energy, and a ferocious smile appeared on his face.

"It seems that sacrificing a long life for power was a wise choice for me."

In an instant, Thanos appeared outside the spaceship, emitting an incomparably powerful aura. He stood in the starry sky with his hands behind his back, like the overlord of the Universe.

"I've heard of you before, more than once.

But I didn't expect to see you in the Universe."

"Ron, you truly have become a stumbling block in my quest for the Stones."

He said with a tone of lament.

"Hand over the Power Stone, and I can give you a quick death."
