For five hundred years, the world knew nothing but war.

Yet peace is fragile.
The remnants of fallen kingdoms plotted in the shadows. Corruption seeped into the empire like poison. "A tree may stand tall, but when rot festers inside, its fall is only a matter of time".
The emperor himself grew obsessed with a single fear: death
A Taoist priest whispered of a secret: an elixir of immortality.
From that day on, Emperor Shang Ti killed honest ministers who told the truth and abandoned his throne to corrupt ministers who always said good things about the kingdom and greedy nobles, while he sent his soldiers on impossible quests for mythical ingredients. The empire rooted as the emperor chased eternity.
The Famine spread. Rebellions rose.
Natural disasters struck as if Heaven itself had turned against the Shang Empire.
And amidst the storm of chaos... two boys were born.
One was hidden away in the palace, a prince born of the royal blood, shielded from the eye of the world.
The other was born in the ashes of war, a poor orphan who lost his family to the blade, with only a younger sister left by his side.
Fate brought them together.
In a world torn between steel and blood, they would grow as brothers.
