Chapter 72 - Chapter 72: The Throne of Shadows

Hell roared in chaos. Demons surged, rioted, and screamed, their infernal howls shaking the very foundations of the abyss. Fires leapt across crumbling pillars, shadows twisted and writhed like living creatures, and the air was thick with blood, smoke, and the scent of terror.

Yet through it all, Kairo walked, chains rattling softly, Bone Blade humming faintly at his side. His crimson eyes cut through the madness, unyielding, calculating, and terrifying in their intensity. Every step was deliberate, every movement a declaration of dominance. Hell itself seemed to recoil around him, acknowledging the inevitability of the Red-Eyed One.

The path narrowed, corridors bending and twisting as if Hell itself tried to stop him. Flames and rubble threatened to block his way, but Kairo's aura flared, crimson and absolute, bending shadows to his will. The chaos became a mere backdrop, a storm he walked through with unnerving calm.

Finally, he reached the highest chamber — the inner sanctum, where the throne of Hades awaited. The doors were massive, blackened with age and scorched by countless battles, yet they opened effortlessly as Kairo approached, chains rattling in anticipation.

Inside, the throne room was a cathedral of shadows and fire. Hades sat upon his obsidian throne, eyes glinting with a mixture of curiosity, amusement, and ancient menace. The room itself seemed to pulse with his presence, a suffocating weight of power that could crush mountains.

"You've come," Hades said, voice deep and resonant, echoing through the chamber like rolling thunder. "I wondered how long it would take before the Red-Eyed One dared step into my domain."

Kairo's crimson eyes locked on Hades, chains coiling and uncoiling with intent. "I've come," he said, voice low but absolute, "to end you. No more games. No more pawns. Your reign in Hell… ends tonight."

Hades' lips curved into a faint, knowing smile. "Such confidence… after all you've endured. But do not mistake survival for victory. You walk the path you cannot yet comprehend."

Kairo's aura flared brighter, the Bone Blade pulsing, chains rattling like a chorus of judgment. Hell's riot, Igron's diversion, the Gravekeeper's power — it all culminated here. The Red-Eyed One had arrived.

The throne room fell silent but for the distant echoes of chaos outside, a storm of fire and blood forming the backdrop to what would become a battle that would shake Hell itself
