"You're awake," a familiar voice says from the doorway.


I turn to see Julian standing there with a cup of coffee, his dark hair tousled from sleep. He's wearing a simple white t-shirt and jeans, looking nothing like the ruthless businessman who just destroyed the Rossi empire.


"Where are we?" I ask, my voice still hoarse from everything that's happened.


"Aethelgard," he says, setting the coffee on the nightstand beside me. "Caeloria. You're safe here, Seraphina. Completely safe."
