Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

"Talking"

'Thinking'

The city never slept. Neon lights flickered across shop windows, cars rushed by in endless streams, and advertisements painted the skyline in dazzling colors.

Rosa Takahashi tugged her jacket closer as she walked down the crowded street. At nineteen, she blended in easily among the students and workers of Tokyo—headphones in, phone in her hand, pretending to scroll while the world moved around her. But beneath her calm mask, there was a truth she never said aloud.

I don't belong here.

It wasn't about her grades. It wasn't about the quiet way her parents had stopped asking about boyfriends. Arisa already knew why: her heart never sparked for them. Instead, it raced when her eyes lingered too long on girls she shouldn't stare at. It was something she kept hidden, buried under layers of silence.

And lately, something else had been haunting her visions she couldn't explain.

Flames that flickered in reflections where none should be. A golden sword burning in her dreams.

She stopped at a crosswalk, sighing. Maybe I'm going crazy.

Then the sky tore open.

It wasn't thunder. It wasn't lightning. It was a rift jagged burning gold and black splitting the night apart. The ground trembled as fire poured downwards not ordinary fire but something alive, wrapping the city in golden-black light.

People screamed and runned, pushing each other. Glass shattered. Panic erupted everywhere.

But Arisa couldn't move. The fire didn't feel like death. It felt like recognition like the universe was whispering, You were never meant to stay here.

The flames spiraled downward, wrapping around her body. She gasped as heat seared her lungs, her vision going white.

And then darkness, silence.

When she opened her eyes again, she was sitting in a room that she did not recognize "Just Wher-" before she could finish she heard a woman calling for her.

"Arisa come in you're gonna be late!"

'hold on Arisa?' She walked to the bathroom When she starred at herself in the mirror, her blue eyes gleamed with startling clarity large, direact, and steady, reflecting the inferno around her without a flicker of fear.

Her features were sharp, defined, almost sculpted for command. A Strong, firm jawline gave her presence an undeniable gravity, while her straight, thick brows lent her expression an intensity that made the air itself seem to pause. Her nose was straight and refined, balanced perfectly, and her lips slightly full but must often pressed into a neutral line, spoke of a woman who revealed little, even to herself, her hair was pure white and its was in a side long down ponytail loosen.

She wasn't fragile. Her beauty wasn't the fleeting softness of a dream. It was forged deliberate, commanding, the kind of beauty that made her seem untouchable. Even as the fire swirled around her, her presence cut through it steady and unyielding.

"Woah would you look at that my ideal face I have always wanted" but than she looked down at her chest and its mostly flat but not to much her eyes went wide thats when she pulled her pants open a bit and paled.

"What the hec-" again before she could finish her door flew open and a woman came in she had white curly hair coming down her back red eyes like ruby's soft female look to her she was in a way beautiful "What is taking you so long Arisa!"

'Damn if looks can kill!' Arisa thought to herself.

'She must be my mother' "Uh... Um sorry I'm coming" Arisa followed her so called mother they made it to what looked like a lab.

Arisa couldn't help but loom around "Woah."

"What do you mean Woah you been here many times"

'Crap!' "I said Woah because it always amazes me!" She said quickly.

Her mother smiles but all Arisa could do was give a awkward smile 'almost caught.'

What felt like an eternity they made it a room and what she saw was a golden suit with a black cap and a sword on a dummy "you're here!" Arisa was caught in a tight hug "can't breath" the man let go of his daughter "sorry there goldstar" he smiled while having a hand on on my head 'goldstar? Is that some kind of nickname.?"

"Sorry we are late honey she was to busy admiring herself in the mirror" he laughed "of course she got her looks from her old man" he held his chin and gave a smirk apparently mother gave him a look " she got it from booth of us."

'What is this?' All Arisa could do was stand there.

"So what is going on today?" Both her parents looked at each other than it her.

"Well training of course" her father put up his arm and showed off his muscles 'so he's one of those guys.' All she could do was give him a deadpan look.
