Chapter 79: Madame Hydra
"Alright, we're here."
Using his Invisibility ability, Colin flew with the miniaturized Scott above the Base. He looked down at the dimly visible Hydra Base below him and reminded Scott, who was in his hand:
"Prepare for action, Scott."
"Be careful."
"No problem!"
Although countless questions flooded Scott's mind, waiting to be clarified, he also knew that this was not the right time to ask. Shaking his head to suppress his doubts, he took a deep breath and approached the small box in Colin's hand. He pulled open the lid, and a large number of Worker Ants meticulously crawled out from inside the box.
"Alpha Squad, move out..."
"Bravo Squad, Charlie Squad, depart!"
Through the Brainwave Device, Scott issued commands to the Ants. He nimbly climbed onto the back of the last Worker Ant to emerge from the box, patting its head, and said, "Alright, Anthony (Ant), don't drop me this time."
As his voice fell, Scott, along with Anthony (Ant), the Worker Ant beneath him, and the vast Ant Army, flew towards the location of the Hydra Base.

After bringing Scott and his ant squad above the Base, Colin didn't linger. His gaze swept over the text, then he turned and returned to where the Resistance group was located.
Controlling his body, he slowly descended, simultaneously retracting his Invisibility ability, reappearing beside Nick. His gaze also fell upon the screen in front of Howard and the others. These camera feeds mostly came from Scott's ant squad. Using Pym Particles to miniaturize the Camera and attach it to the moving Worker Ants helped the Resistance understand Scott's progress.
"I've reached the roof of the Base building!"
Landing on the roof of the Hydra Base, Scott tumbled and steadied himself, reporting to Colin and the others.
"Understood. Proceed with caution!"
On the other side, seeing Scott's figure on the screen, Howard calmly responded as well.
"Phew~"
After reporting the situation, Scott turned his head to survey the surroundings of the roof, his gaze quickly locking onto a ventilation duct not far away.
"I plan to use the ventilation duct to enter the Base."
"Ventilation duct is clear."
After Tony confirmed the condition of the ventilation duct, Scott didn't hesitate, controlling his Ant Army to squeeze into the duct's opening.
Inside the rusty ventilation duct, Scott rapidly moved forward, riding Anthony (Ant).
"Perhaps, they should consider cleaning out the ventilation system."
Inside the dark, old ventilation duct, smelling the pungent odor that occasionally wafted out, he couldn't help but complain. The Peenemünde Base, having existed as a military Base since World War II, had most of its structures within the Base already old, and naturally, this included the ventilation ducts.
Flying past a dead rat with a bizarrely twisted body in one of the pipes, Scott suppressed the urge to vomit, constantly reminding himself:
"You only have one suit, Scott, don't throw up in it."
Striving to suppress his nausea, he controlled his Ant Army and silently arrived at an area not marked on Tony's map.
Approaching the ventilation duct's opening, Scott took a few deep breaths of fresh air, while maintaining communication with Colin and the others at the Base via the Communicator built into his Helmet.
"Okay, I've reached one of the areas..."
"..."
Pressing the Communicator on his Helmet, Scott was about to inform the Resistance members about his situation. However, what he heard inside the Helmet was only static and crackling.
"Hello, hello, guys, can you hear me?"
After trying to call out a few more times, Scott belatedly realized, "Damn it, I forgot there's a Signal Jammer here!"
Realizing he could no longer contact the Resistance members outside, Scott had to rely on his own Powers to continue the operation.
"You can do this, Scott, it's just stealing, isn't it?"
"Don't forget how you ended up in San Quentin; you're an officially 'certified' professional."
...
I heard it.
Outside the Hydra Base, Colin heard Scott's communication attempts and his self-muttering. Colin silently replied in his mind. Although the Signal Jammer blocked Scott's communication with Howard and the others, it clearly couldn't block Colin's Super Hearing. This made him the only person currently able to know what was happening inside the Base.
"It seems Scott has entered a signal-jammed area."
Beside him, watching the blank screen, Nick frowned and said.
...
Inside a Laboratory at the Hydra Base.
"What's going on?"
Ophelia, or rather, Madame Hydra, scanned the Base's members with her emerald eyes, asking in a husky, somewhat magnetic voice. She stood over 1.75 meters tall, with long black hair casually unbound yet not messy. Her narrow eyes gave off a chilling and deadly impression. The dark green Bodysuit she wore perfectly accentuated Madame Hydra's alluring figure, while the Whip at her waist hinted at her formidable nature.
Theoretically speaking, faced with someone as exceptionally beautiful and sensual as Madame Hydra, the surrounding crowd would more or less show considerable interest. However, within the entire Hydra Base, not a single person dared to cast such a gaze upon her. This was not only because Ophelia was their leader, but also because Madame Hydra herself was an extremely lethal presence.
This deadliness didn't just refer to her dressing style; it also referred to the Powers she wielded. Due to her inherent Toxin resistance, Ophelia had a profound understanding of most poisons and Toxins, enabling her to easily create various lethal Toxins to kill her opponents. Those who engaged Madame Hydra in combat would often unknowingly become poisoned and eventually die in agony.
"In the Hive Laboratory, a dormant experimental subject suddenly awoke, and a sensor was also triggered."
Facing Madame Hydra's inquiry, the reporting member lowered their head, carefully avoiding eye contact with her, while simultaneously reporting their findings.
"But we haven't found any abnormalities, including with the experimental subject itself."
"Therefore, maintenance personnel suspect it might be a false trigger of the sensor, stimulating the dormant experimental subject, and they are currently conducting inspections for it..."
"False trigger of the sensor?"
Hearing her subordinate's report, Madame Hydra withdrew her gaze from them, muttering with interest.
"Notify the Laboratory personnel to seal off the affected area."
However, the next second, the smile on Madame Hydra's lips quickly faded as she ordered her subordinate. She didn't believe that a perfectly fine experimental subject would suddenly awaken from its dormant state. Such an occurrence clearly indicated that there was a 'guest' who had infiltrated the Base without Hydra's knowledge.
