Chapter 78: Infiltrating the Base

Anti-World, Unicorn Whale Submarine.
After a week-long voyage, The Resistants finally reached their destination—Peenemünde.
"Listen up, everyone, we're almost at the Hydra Base."
Sitting inside the off-road vehicle, Colin slowly opened his eyes upon hearing Nick Fury's reminder.
Beside him was Scott, whose expression was slightly nervous.
"Phew~"
Scott took a deep breath to calm his nerves. Noticing the Longbow in Hawkeye's hand across from him, he couldn't help but ask, "So, why did you specifically choose a bow and arrow as your weapon?" "I mean, why not a gun?"
Scott found it hard to understand that in modern society, someone would still choose to fight with such antiquated equipment like a bow and arrow. Looking at Hawkeye's grip on the bow and arrow, he almost thought they were out hunting instead of on some secret operation.
"Because for me, a bow and arrow is more than just a weapon."
Facing Scott's question, Hawkeye Clint replied while silently adjusting the bow and arrow in his hand.
Meanwhile, hearing his explanation, for some reason, the scene Colin had previously seen in a Time Shard (Clint Barton) once again resurfaced in his mind.
Hearing Clint's answer, Scott nodded noncommittally, then changed the subject and asked Howard in the passenger seat.
"Speaking of which, there's been something bothering me for a while. These past few days on the submarine, I haven't seen you come out of the bridge once. So, how do you sustain yourself?"
In the passenger seat, facing Scott's question, Howard looked up at the vehicle's rearview mirror and ignored him.
Having been gently rebuffed, Scott didn't feel awkward. Instead, he continued to turn his gaze towards another member of The Resistants inside the vehicle.
"Shut up!"
However, before he could say anything. Frank immediately cut him off.
"We're here!"
Immediately after, Nick Fury's voice rang out again.
...
"It's no good, the Base is surrounded by patrol personnel."
Peenemünde, in front of the secret Hydra Base.
Hawkeye Clint frowned, looking at the heavily guarded Base in front of him through the infrared device in his hand, and said to The Resistants.
As the German Military's most important military research and development Base during World War II.
The entire Base covers an area of 25 square kilometers. At its peak, approximately 12,000 people worked here on the research of the world's first cruise missiles and fully functional large-scale rockets.
After Hydra restarted this Base, they didn't invest as much manpower as in the past.
However, the number of patrol personnel around the entire Base was still considerable.
"I need information on the Base's interior."
In his eye socket, his Mechanical Eye, gleaming with blue light, continuously calibrated, locking its vision onto the Base in front of him.
Howard said to Hawkeye in front of him, his expression calm.
"Leave it to me."
Nodding, he pulled back the Longbow in his hand.
With a "whoosh," an Arrow loaded with a special arrowhead, under the cover of night, penetrated the guarded personnel around the Base and accurately hit the Base's wall.
Click!
Immediately after, accompanied by a faint sound of separation.
The arrowhead and arrow shaft that hit the Base instantly detached and scattered, leaving only the signal emitter loaded in the arrowhead firmly fixed in place.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—
After shooting the first Arrow, Clint's expression showed no change; his movements were swift.
In the night, he fired nine more Signal Arrows, also loaded with special arrowheads, landing in various corners of the Base.
Just as Hawkeye was firing his Arrows, Howard took out a silver-white suitcase from inside the off-road vehicle.
Extending his Mechanical Arm, he pressed a switch on the suitcase.
After a dazzling series of transformations, a small signal receiver immediately appeared before everyone.
"Cool!"
Looking at the receiver that had transformed from the suitcase, Scott whistled and raised an eyebrow.
"Tony."
With the activation of the signal emitter, the Artificial Intelligence quickly took over the signal and silently entered Hydra's system.
"I'm on it, give me a moment."
At the same time, the internal structure of the Hydra Base was projected onto the signal receiver in front of them.
"Done."
As Tony's voice fell, the previously blank Base structure on the projected screen quickly became clear.
His gaze swept over the internal structure of the Base projected by Tony. Even with just a casual glance from Colin.
With the help of his Super Intellect, he still easily memorized the layout shown on the screen.
"Certain areas of the Base have special Signal Jammers installed. I can't determine the internal situation without alerting the security system."
And in the projected Base layout, there were several areas that remained blank.
"Dr. Phineas Horton's experimental data should be in one of these."
Frowning, Nick Fury said in a deep voice, looking at the locations Tony marked on the map.
"I'll take it from here."
Standing beside them, silently memorizing the layout on the map, Scott took a deep breath and turned his head to glance at the distant Hydra Base.
"Although I might not be your match in combat, when it comes to infiltration and stealing things, that's my specialty."
As he spoke, Scott put on his already prepared Ant-Man suit, pressed the button on his Helmet, covering his entire face, and said in a muffled voice.
"Then, I'll take you the rest of the way."
Hearing Scott's confident words, Colin and Howard silently exchanged a glance.
Then, he extended his palm, motioning for Scott to jump onto it.
"What?"
His gaze lingered on Colin's palm for a moment, a confused expression appearing on Scott's face beneath his Helmet. But he still obediently took out a small box containing ants from his pocket and placed it in Colin's hand. Then, he pressed the button on the index finger side of his suit, and he instantly shrank down under the influence of Particle Power, jumping onto the box in Colin's hand.
"Hold tight."
Looking down at Scott in his hand, Colin reminded him.
Controlling his body, he activated his Flight ability.
"What the fuck, you can fly?"
Lying on Colin's palm, watching his body rise higher and higher from the ground, Scott couldn't help but let out a gasp.
However, before his gasp could even finish, he saw Colin's body, starting from his hand, gradually become transparent, eventually vanishing in mid-air.
"You can go Invisible?!"
