Chapter 85 - Chapter 85: You're Using This to Test Me, Zeus?!

For gods to become drunk was extremely difficult—only when deities themselves yearned to immerse in the feeling of intoxicated stupor could they truly become drunk.

However, there were still many intoxicated deities, because many gods enjoyed this feeling of tipsy half-drunkenness, hazy and bewildered.

Regarding this, a certain God King who preferred not to reveal his name expressed that he had completely sworn off alcohol.

He no longer enjoyed the feeling of being drunk!

Although many gods had reputations for loving wine, the profound and wise Mnemosyne was definitely not among them.

Moreover, at this moment, she was actually disheveled!

The plain black robes did match her legendary image.

But!

This so-called black robe was merely a layer of night-colored gauze that, under Zeus's sharp golden eyes, was practically like nothing at all!

All her graceful curves were faintly visible beneath that thin black gauze.

Just from that brief glance, Zeus had already seen the goddess's incomparably graceful figure completely!

In the clearest, most real way, without any censoring at all!

The mother goddess of civilization and memory—her figure was truly too graceful, too abundant, too seductive.

Making divine blood surge and spirits sway.

One glance encompassed all the brilliant and profound civilization of the world, truly making gods intoxicated and unable to extricate themselves.

This scene, this moment, this romantic atmosphere—passion was intense. Even if one were truly made of wood, one absolutely could not fail to understand romance.

Though Zeus had not drunk divine wine, at this moment he seemed somewhat tipsy too.

In such circumstances, if one's spirit was not intoxicated, that would show ignorance of worldly affairs.

Zeus secretly calmed his spirit and steadied his swaying divinity.

His instinct as the sky god made him unable to control himself against the primitive attraction of the enchanting goddess—he really had to control himself or it wouldn't work.

Moreover, the goddess of civilization and memory was truly too seductive!

Couldn't withstand it, simply couldn't withstand it!

Just looking that once was already the limit.

Being able to quickly avert his gaze after such a look, Zeus's willpower was already rare in the world.

He truly didn't know now what this magnificent goddess of civilization meant—this was really too unusual.

Using this to test me, Zeus?!

Then let me tell you!

You've found the right god!

Really good at reading people!

But having said that, Zeus could still hold steady for now.

He dared swear to himself that in this lifetime he had truly been pure and self-disciplined—at least until now, he was still a pure and flawless god!

Even though beautiful wisdom Metis accompanied him day and night, available at will, he truly hadn't taken that step, just taking some advantage with mouth, tongue, hands and feet.

He was now single-mindedly focused on his career!

Zeus looked straight toward one side of the temple, not daring to look again at Mnemosyne's enchanting figure.

He took the initiative to speak: "Respected, beautiful goddess of memory, goddess of civilization's accumulation—Zeus, son of Rhea, offers you the most sublime respect."

The eternally tranquil goddess of magnificent radiance seemed only now to notice Zeus, who was already parched, in the hall.

Her graceful and abundant figure swayed unsteadily as she slowly rose from the divine seat, her gait carrying the lazy languor of tipsiness. Her profound black eyes showed none of the uprightness of legend, hazy with the brilliant misty glow of civilization.

Long and beautiful words slid slowly from her cherry-red lips like the sweetest honey wine: "Ah~ Respected, noble son of Rhea, master of destiny, that destined God King, the inevitably infinitely great, omniscient and omnipotent Zeus."

"You have finally come."

Her intoxicated voice was soft and enchanting to the bone—just opening her mouth nearly stole Zeus's heart and soul away.

However, even though the goddess before him was so enchanting and seductive, Zeus now had not a trace of romantic thoughts in his heart.

He sighed inwardly: 'Sigh, I hate most these gods who know everything! Everything can only be done honestly!'

Zeus still did not look toward that magnificent, infinitely charming enchanting goddess.

His gaze remained fixed on a stone pillar at the side of the temple, as if the white marble was more attractive than the cherry red above the fair skin.

He coughed dryly, trying to make his voice sound solemn and calm: "Respected omniscient goddess, I have come specifically to seek your help."

The charming goddess, hearing this, let out a soft, delicate laugh.

There were no sirens yet, but Zeus could be certain this laughter was more seductive than the most alluring siren song—just one soft laugh was enough to inspire infinite reverie in deities.

Her tone carried a trace of teasing and flirtation as she said coquettishly: "Not-so-distant future great destined God King, when coming to seek help from deities, shouldn't one look directly at the other party? Your current behavior is really quite impolite."

Hearing this, Zeus let out a bitter laugh, his usually majestic voice now carrying much helplessness and sincerity.

"Beautiful goddess, your charm is too brilliant—my still-unsteady heart truly cannot resist your peerless beauty. If I were to look directly at you now, I would definitely completely lose my reason."

Just as Zeus finished speaking, the flawless goddess of memory had already moved with light steps, silently approaching Zeus like a ghost.

The rich fragrance emanating from her jade-white body now quietly assailed him, surrounding Zeus—even his breathing slowed.

The enchanting goddess of civilization's jade-like slender fingers, carrying a slightly cool touch, had already gently caressed Zeus's resolute face.

Her charming words now became even softer and more lingering, carrying a trace of tipsy intoxication as she whispered close to Zeus's ear: "What sweet words from a God King."

"I don't believe what you're saying~"

The gentle goddess paused before continuing softly: "Respected Zeus, please do not think too much."

"Long, long ago, in that distant and ancient beginning of time, I already knew who I, Mnemosyne, would ultimately belong to."

"I have waited for you too long. My love, I will eternally accompany you by your side. My honor is your honor, never to be separated."

The great omniscient goddess of civilization and memory, her graceful figure gently spreading her arms, now lightly embraced Zeus.

She raised her beautiful head to look into Zeus's profound golden eyes, her voice carrying anticipation and impatience: "Majestic Zeus, my love, do you need me to depart for Mount Olympus right now?"

Zeus finally looked directly at this infinitely beautiful goddess before him, his profound eyes filled with undisguised possession.

He unceremoniously pulled the goddess tightly into his embrace, his voice gentle yet firm: "Now is not yet the time. The new order has not yet been fully implemented, the foundation of the universe is not yet stable."
