Even such formidable giant gods, possessing almost infinite divine nature and power, would become this mad and painful once cast into Tartarus.
How terrifying that endless void must be!
Simply unimaginable!
Though Poseidon was wildly arrogant, he also possessed courage and confidence far exceeding ordinary gods. Even when once devoured by Kronos, he had only resentment and rage, never fear.
But now seeing the giants' mad and deranged appearance, he truly felt for the first time what real desperate torment was.
Though he still couldn't personally experience Tartarus's terror, he felt trembling that reached the deepest part of his divine nature.
Not only did Poseidon feel chilled, even Lady Night, who wasn't seeing this situation for the first time, still had fear from her heart's depths in those profound endless eyes.
Even though she herself represented profound and lonely night, she still feared that completely pure void—Tartarus.
Once gods possessed divine self-consciousness, that boundless loneliness and void was destined to become the most terrible torment.
After a long time, the mad giant gods barely recovered some calm and reason, their divine nature gradually stabilizing.
After awakening, their first thought was to return to the world, back to Mother Goddess Gaia's warm embrace.
They wanted nothing else now, only to return to their mother goddess's warm and safe embrace.
Zeus quickly stopped them. Only after being stopped by Zeus did they remember there were gods who had saved them.
The giant gods who had been tormented by Tartarus a second time had now become completely humble and careful.
They looked cautiously at Zeus before them, their attitude humble and respectful, not daring to say anything for a moment.
Zeus spoke first with authority: "Giant gods, I am Zeus, son of sacred Rhea, commissioned by Mother Goddess Gaia to rescue you from endless torment."
"I am now conducting a war with God King Kronos that will decide the entire universe's fate. I need your powerful help. Please follow Mother Goddess's commands, assist me in winning this war, and bring new order to the universe!"
However, the six giants felt fear from their divine nature's depths just hearing the name "Kronos."
Though they were incomparably formidable, their imprisonment had been too terrible. They all covered their ears, not daring to hear this name, as if the name itself carried infinite curse and pain.
They were so terrified they didn't even dare feel hatred, not daring to say anything, only covering their ears and shaking their heads frantically, their expressions incomparably fearful and painful, their emotions nearly falling into madness again.
They were also becoming "Titans."
Zeus's eyes flashed with helplessness as he hurriedly comforted them, having Melius quickly tell them everything that had happened in the world.
Telling them the God King was no longer the invincible God King, that the God King's son was now no less than him, and that the universe's primordial great gods all clustered around Zeus.
Seeing their familiar playmate, plus Lady Night's appearance as confirmation, the giants barely calmed down again, their painful and chaotic divine nature gradually settling.
The scene now unfolding was incomparably familiar to them—exactly the same as before.
When they were first cast into Tartarus, it was Kronos who saved them. The Kronos of that time was just like the current Zeus, equally gentle and friendly, a benefactor god they were grateful to from their hearts.
However, after Kronos secured his position as God King, he unhesitatingly cast them into the void abyss again.
Without mercy, without remembering past achievements, decisively and resolutely betraying their trust.
They were children of Sky Father and Earth Mother, formidable and wise giant gods. Everything that had happened was clearly inscribed in their hearts, the pain of betrayal never fading.
Now facing Melius's words, they were grateful for Zeus's saving grace, yet also feared Kronos's bloodline. The shadow of past betrayal left them hesitant.
Having almost lost their ability to speak, they remained silent now, both because long-term torment had caused chaotic divine nature making speech difficult, and because they didn't know what they should say facing the current situation.
With their divine nature still chaotic, they now only wanted to return to their mother goddess's embrace, only wanted to hear their mother goddess's kind words.
The eldest of the Hundred-Handed Giants, the wisest Briareus, now spoke haltingly, his massive body slightly bowing with incomparable humble respect. To Zeus who seemed as tiny as dust before him, he said respectfully:
"Respected son of the God King, respected son of the God Queen, illustrious Zeus, we are infinitely grateful for your saving grace. Your kindness we will forever engrave in our hearts, eternally unforgotten."
"Only we have been imprisoned too long. We incomparably yearn for and miss Mother Goddess's warm embrace. Could you allow us to see Mother Goddess first?"
Zeus firmly refused: "No!"
"Now is not the time. In this darkness beneath the world, you are concealed by darkness and night so the God King cannot sense you have escaped. But as soon as you return to the world, with your formidable power, the God King will immediately detect your return!"
"Then we will find it very difficult to completely defeat the God King!"
"Do you want to fail once again and then be cast into Tartarus by the God King again?"
Zeus's final words instantly frightened the still-shaken giants into frantic head-shaking. The fear Tartarus brought them was unimaginable.
Speaking of which, fifty heads of the Hundred-Handed Giants shaking together was truly spectacular.
Seeing this, Zeus smiled gently, his tone also softening as he continued: "Giant gods, God King Kronos's order is brutal and corrupt. His cruel rule has reached its end."
"Now is the most crucial moment deciding the universe's fate. With your powerful help, we will surely achieve final victory! Completely end all painful torment and gain the brightest future!"
Zeus's magnetic voice gave an enticing promise: "Please temporarily endure your longing for Mother Goddess. I will not be stingy in granting you honor."
"After our victory, I will grant you enjoyment of an infinitely beautiful world, in infinite time, freely enjoying infinite happiness and tranquility."
"Then you can often accompany Mother Goddess, enjoying Mother Goddess's warm embrace, never again worrying about imprisonment's fate."
"Mother Goddess also incomparably misses you."
"But all this can only be possessed after we achieve final victory. So please temporarily endure a bit longer, for ultimate freedom and beauty!"
The several giants, hearing Zeus's words, quietly exchanged glances with each other, their eyes full of complex emotions.
Finally, it was still the wisest Hundred-Handed Giant Briareus who spoke. His massive loud voice now became careful and humble as he respectfully said to Zeus:
"Respected God Zeus, we are infinitely grateful for your rescue. Your kindness is as weighty as Mother Goddess's—we forever engrave it in our hearts, not daring to forget in the slightest."
"Could great you mercifully allow us to discuss how to repay your infinite gratitude? We hope to express our appreciation and loyalty in the most sincere way."
The giants' attitude was no longer just respectful and grateful, but could be called quite humble.
In the excessively long time, in the terrible torment of endless void, they had long since worn away all sharp edges. The wild arrogance, willful rage of their former nature had completely vanished.
Now they only had longing for freedom and tranquility left.
Magnanimous Zeus naturally allowed it. With an understanding smile, he indicated letting them discuss privately to one side, giving them full respect.
Poseidon, watching the giants' cautious measures and cowering behavior, frowned tightly: "Zeus, they won't have other thoughts, will they?"
"I think they've been completely intimidated by the God King. They won't be too afraid to act against the God King, will they?"
Zeus only smiled lightly, saying calmly: "Don't worry, Poseidon. They only fear Tartarus's endless terrible torment, not truly fear the God King. The current God King is no longer an invincible existence—they have no reason to fear anymore."
Zeus's gaze looked into the distance as he said leisurely: "Moreover, they have no other choice but to help us achieve victory."
"Otherwise, they'll have to enter Tartarus again, once more enduring that miserable, endless torment. Even just for themselves not to fall into that tragic fate, they can only help us."
"Because helping us is helping themselves."
"This is their only way out, and their best choice."
Hades nearby remained as always silent, his profound eyes showing no ripples.
While the enchanting and beautiful Lady Night now covered her lips and laughed lightly, strange light flowing in her profound black eyes with unusual seductive charm.
She praised softly: "Illustrious Zeus speaks correctly. With wisdom standing beside Zeus, how could his judgment be wrong?"
Hearing this, Zeus looked toward the hazily seductive Lady Night, smiling at Nyx: "Having Lady Night standing beside me is the foundation of my final victory."
Poseidon frowned. He always felt something was off. This night god of revered status and incomparable formidability was being far too familiar and close with Zeus.
They were intimate in a way completely unlike ordinary allies!
But this was also a good thing. With this primordial great god's help, this war's chances of victory would only be greater, the battle would only go more smoothly.
No longer thinking about this matter, bored, he again cast his gaze toward Campe shrouded in darkness, thinking it a pity inwardly, secretly blaming Zeus for being so harsh.
Just for not being obedient?
Killing her just like that—wasn't he afraid of offending Mother Goddess Gaia and Pontus?
Capturing her and handing her over to me to handle would have been much better.
