Chapter 27 - Chapter 27 - Vroom Vroom, What a Fast Car!

After a long moment, Fu Hua took a deep breath, steadying her chaotic thoughts.

"Thank you, Kiana," she said earnestly, looking at Kiana.

If it weren't for Kiana, she might have just walked into a dead end.

It was ironic, really. Her past self, the one who was like a cold machine that only knew how to kill Honkai Beasts, probably would never have overthought things this much.

But now, whether it was due to her fragmented memories or because she had grown too close to the human world, she found herself thinking about so many more things.

Fu Hua didn't know if this change was for the better or worse, but... she didn't want to resist it.

"Hehe, you're welcome." Kiana scratched the back of her head and grinned, a little embarrassed.

"By the way, Kiana, was there something you needed me for?"

"Oh, I wanted to ask you to study the Six Styles with me, Class Monitor. If I do it alone, I'll probably learn very slowly," Kiana said.

"Alright, then. Let's go to the training grounds."

"Mhm, I knew you were the best, Class Monitor!"

---o---

"Bronya, have you seen Kiana anywhere?"

In the dorm, Raiden Mei emerged from the kitchen and asked Bronya, who was sitting in the living room watching television.

"Haven't seen her," Bronya replied without turning her head.

"That's strange. I saw her just a moment ago. I was thinking about how hard she's been training lately, so I made some of her favorite snacks, but she vanished in the blink of an eye," Raiden Mei said, a little crestfallen.

"Mei-nee-sama, Kiana probably went to the training grounds with the Class Monitor. She's been practicing the Six Styles with her a lot recently," Bronya stated.

"With the Class Monitor? Mmm... no wonder Kiana hasn't asked me to be her sparring partner lately. So she found the Class Monitor..."

Raiden Mei pursed her lips, her mood sinking slightly.

"Mei-nee-sama, can Bronya try some of the snacks you made?"

"Of course, you can. But we have to save some for Kiana. She and the Class Monitor will definitely be hungry when they get back from training."

Although it stung a little that Kiana was spending less and less time with her, Raiden Mei wasn't that petty. After all, no matter how much Kiana fooled around outside, she would always come home to eat the meals she cooked.

---o---

Five days passed in a flash. During this time, Kiana and Fu Hua spent every day in the training grounds. Relying on her own hard work and talent, coupled with Fu Hua's guidance, Kiana quickly mastered Moon Step and Tempest Kick from the Six Styles. She was confident she could master the other skills with a little more time.

After testing the practicality of these skills, Theresa decisively created a dedicated class for them, with Fu Hua as the instructor, to teach the Six Styles to the other Valkyries at St. Freya.

Meanwhile, using the Materials Reserve Box from the Q&A Space, Theresa successfully acquired a vast amount of resources—she had smartly let Kiana open the box.

With these resources, St. Freya's weapons development department was officially up and running, successfully crafting a Sunfire Greatsword.

After Himeko tested it, she gave it an extremely high evaluation.

Greatly encouraged, Theresa waved her small hand and ordered the weapons department to work overtime to produce more weapons.

Finally, after five days had passed, the group once again found themselves in the Q&A Space.

"Ah, for some reason, coming to the Q&A Space now gives me a strange sense of peace," Himeko remarked with a sigh.

"Aunt Himeko, I've noticed you haven't been going out on blind dates recently," Kiana said curiously.

"I was doing that before because I was about to die, and I wanted to experience what love feels like before the end. That's why I was trying to find a good man to marry," Himeko said with a shrug.

"But it doesn't matter now. My body has recovered, so I'm not in a rush to find a man anymore. Besides, what would you all do without me?"

"The students are still fighting on the front lines. How can I, the teacher, run off to enjoy myself?"

"But, Teacher Himeko, if you don't get married in a few more years, you'll become an old woman," Kiana said with a cheeky grin.

Himeko's face darkened. She reached out and gave Kiana a sharp flick on the forehead, then huffed in annoyance.

"I am a natural beauty. Even in ten years, I'll be like a perfectly ripe peach. Look at your great aunt, she's almost fifty and still not married, right? If she's not in a hurry, why should I be?"

"Hey! Himeko! Talk about yourself, why do you have to drag me into it!" Theresa shot Himeko a glare, flushing with anger and embarrassment.

"Ehehe~~"

"What the hell is 'ehehe' supposed to mean!?"

Theresa rolled her eyes, deciding not to engage with them any further, lest they actually anger her to death.

She then turned to Fu Hua and asked, "Fu Hua, how is the Six Styles instruction going?"

"Everything is proceeding smoothly. The Six Styles aren't difficult to learn, and the students are all very motivated."

"That's good to hear."

[This round of questions will now officially begin.]

The System's voice echoed in their ears, instantly silencing the somewhat noisy group.

[Question Nine: Improper driving, loved ones shed tears. After Bronya Zaychik becomes the Herrscher of Reason, how many times is her driver's license revoked?]

[A: Once]

[B: Twice]

[C: Three times]

[D: Four times]

Everyone: "..."

Wait, what kind of bizarre question was this now?

What did Bronya's driver's license being revoked have to do with her becoming a Herrscher?

"Wait... the Herrscher of Reason?" Theresa frowned, having discovered the blind spot. "Why the Herrscher of Reason?"

"Herrscher of Reason..." Bronya was also stunned. She never expected that she would become the Herrscher of Reason in the future.

But... hadn't the Herrscher of Reason already appeared? It was the Sovereign of Anti-Entropy, Welt.

"Huh? Great Aunt, why do you all look so strange? Didn't we already know Bronya was going to become a Herrscher?" Kiana asked, confused.

"You stupid niece." Theresa shot Kiana an exasperated look. "You really slept through your history classes. Don't you know that in this era, the Herrscher of Reason is the First Herrscher? And he was the very first Herrscher to appear."

"Oh, so that's how it is... huh? Then if the Herrscher of Reason has already appeared, how can Bronya become the Herrscher of Reason?"

"That's precisely what we're confused about right now," Theresa said, shaking her head. Her knowledge of Herrschers was still too limited.

"Fu Hua, what are your thoughts?"

"I'm not sure what's going on either." Fu Hua also shook her head. Even if her memories weren't fragmented, she wouldn't know the answer.

After all, in the previous era, there had never been a Herrscher who fought for humanity.
