"Axel, wake up."
The words drifted into his half-conscious state, pulling him away from the fragile sleep he had just managed to fall into.
It irritated him instantly.
He had barely closed his eyes after what felt like endless tossing and turning through the night, and now someone was already disturbing him? His body screamed for just a few more minutes of silence.
"Axel?" the voice came again, clearer this time, tugging him out of the haze of sleep. It was Dallas.
Groaning, Axel cracked his eyes open. "What?!" His voice was rough, annoyed. "Isn't it Sunday? We don't have classes on Sunday, do we?" He asked, still fighting the weight of exhaustion.
"It's not a class. It's an assembly," Dallas explained quietly.
"Assembly?!" Axel's irritation sharpened. "What the hell for?"
"I heard that Alpha Norman is really angry because there was a report that some Alphas sneaked out of the Academy last night," Dallas answered.
