"Are you sure you can trust him? After what happened five years ago?" Martha asked Desire over the phone on Monday morning after she entered the car. She was clad In a long slim fitted black trousers and a white long sleeved shirt with a flat shoes, her hair was packed in a pony tail and her baby face bare with just a lil taint on it
"If it is about five years ago. He wouldn't have offered me an illiterate to work at his company not as a normal worker but as a secretary"
"Maybe it was part of his plan?" She asked
"Martha. You are already married. You have twins and also you are rich so forget about everything okay. If he really wanted revenge for five years ago he would have right there and then"
"You are right Desire. But I couldn't help but think about it what if there is more to it. They are plenty of literate out there in need of this position so why would he give it to you?"
"You are being paranoid" she said and the car pull over in front of the Wang group of companies "I would talk to you later and most importantly wish me luck"
"Break a leg" Martha said and they both giggle
"No problem my regards to the twins" Desire said and hung up then made her way to the reception where they was words to come up immediately after arriving and everyone have her the nasty look which she ignored
"Hello. I am here for CEO Wang" she asked someone who looked at her like she has some dirt on her
"The CEO is busy and can't attend to you now" she said
"I am here to resume as his secretary" Desire said and the lady laughed
"Secretary? I doubt it"
"Well I am truly here to be his secretary" she said then a deep voice came from behind her
"Desire" she heard him called and she looked back smiling which infuriated him
"Hello D" she greeted
"Desire. As long as we are here call me Mr. CEO" he said and she nod
"My apologies Mr. CEO" she said
"This is Desire she would be in charge of the menial jobs around here. Either to get coffee or deliveries she would be the one to get it done" he said and that made her looked at him but he ignored her look and enter his office
"So you are just an errand girl. Wishing for secretary so wishful" a girl said and desire looked down at her shoes
"Secretary indeed. Even her way of dressing is shabby and can't be seen as a secretary. I scoff" another said
"So after all she was indeed an errand girl" the first one said and Desire looked at them then smiled
"Am sorry for misunderstanding." She said and smiled again "I am at your service"
Dylan looked at her from the glass wall and he was again infuriated by her smile how can you smile? Even after I changed the position I wanted to give you before? He asked himself that question and he made a call
"Start torturing her. Make sure that smile leave her face" he said in the coldest voice he could ever muster
"Yes sir" the voice at the other side of the phone then he hung up
