Chapter 297 - Ch: 131-140

Chapter 131: What? Homelander Rebelled!

The White House,

This century-old building, hailed as the headquarter of Free America.

The invited reporters sat in confusion on the chairs provided by the officials.

"Hey, Rao, do you know what happened? Why is the White House suddenly holding a press conference?"

"I don't know either."

The reporter named Rao spread his hands and pointed to the notepad on his lap: "I'm still worrying about how to write today's press release."

Generally speaking, whenever the White House had important news to announce, they would inform reporters in advance, making it easier for them to prepare their press releases.

But today's meeting was very sudden, and no one had received any prior notice.

"Hey, reporters, welcome."

The White House press secretary, a brown-haired White man, walked to the podium, his gaze sweeping over everyone: "Gathering you all here today is to announce an important piece of news."

"This news will be personally delivered by our President."

Soon, President Old Du walked out of the White House. He adjusted his glasses and moved to where the White man had stood. Old Du pondered for a moment, then said in a low voice: "My dear reporter friends, I have gathered you here to announce an unfortunate piece of news."

"This news concerns our General Jeno!"

As soon as these words were spoken, the previously somewhat dispirited reporters, like sharks scenting blood, instantly perked up, gripping their pens and writing furiously.

In Free America, who didn't know that Jeno Wilson was a hot topic? Any newspaper that could be linked to Jenowould see a surge in sales, because people were very interested in the life of this god of human realm.

"Mr. President, please tell us quickly." A reporter couldn't help but voice everyone's thoughts.

Old Du sighed and nodded:

"Alright, perhaps you all remember our Free America's former heroes, MacArthur, a four-star General of Free America (Note: Jeno killed Arthur when he was still a four-star General). He made indelible contributions to America."

"And General Charlie Monte, General Jack Sparrow."

"These Generals from The Pentagon were all pillars of America."

Listening to Old Du's account, everyone's expressions were strange. What did these deceased Generals have to do with Jeno?

But before the reporters could ask, Old Du preempted them: "I regret to inform you that, after investigations by our official FBI and CIA, as well as testimonies from soldiers on the battlefield."

"We have confirmed that Jeno Wilson is the murderer of these Generals. He is an executioner, his hands stained with the blood of those Generals, his compatriots."

As soon as these words were spoken, the audience was stunned!

Upon hearing this, the reporters' eyes gleamed with excitement, and they wrote furiously.

They had never expected such a shocking revelation to be dropped at today's press conference!

The reporters even had their headlines ready:

Shocking! Jeno, the god of human realm, actually did such a thing to General Arthur!

Horrific! The god of human realm completely turned evil!

In short, today would be a feast and carnival for the reporters; nothing was more inspiring than today's press conference.

But Old Du hadn't finished speaking. He cleared his throat and continued: "All along, we hoped this god of human realm would turn from his misguided path, but he even created S.W.O.R.D. and destroyed the Pyramid, a symbol of Egyptian civilization."

"These tyrannical actions have convinced us that Mr. Jenois no longer a normal U.S. citizen."

"After discussions with The Pentagon and the twelve Supreme Court Justices, and approval by Congress." Old Du raised his head, a faint, imperceptible sneer playing on his lips: "We declare Homelander guilty and demand that Homelander proceed to Hawaii Island within ten minutes to be detained and interrogated."

Saying this, Old Du even feigned taking off his glasses and rubbing his eyes: "However, if Homelander dares to resist, then I authorize The Pentagon and the superpower team led by Lieutenant Colonel Stryker William to attack S.W.O.R.D. where Jeno is located, to ensure that Jenoreceives the judgment he deserves!"

After speaking, Old Du ignored the reporters below and turned to leave.

And when Old Du left, the reporters erupted into a frenzy. These people had obtained first-hand information, and at this moment, disbelief was written all over their faces.

"Hey, I thought Homelander was a hero, but I didn't expect him to be a butcher who killed his comrades!"

Some knowledgeable person also spoke up: "I always felt this guy wasn't normal!"

"But can our army withstand that terrifying guy?"

The reporters had varied expressions, but they immediately relayed this news back to their respective news agencies via the White House's rotary phones.

Free America was about to change!

S.W.O.R.D.

Agents monitoring various parts of America quickly captured this situation.

"Red alert status!"

Peggy rushed into Jeno's office, clutching a newspaper.

"Let me guess." Jeno said, eyes closed, one hand propping his cheek, looking languid: "Our President has made his move?"

Peggy was slightly startled, her expression stiffening, somewhat surprised: "How did you know?"

"Because I suspect the President has also been replaced by Skrulls." Jeno chuckled and stood up. In the major comic event, the Skrulls kidnapped Captain America and others, even triggering the Avengers Civil War.

"Moreover, I heard the sound of tracked vehicles driving on the road; the army is closing in." Jeno pointed to his ear.

Seeing Jeno's calm demeanor, Peggy also breathed a sigh of relief. She knew the man in front of her surely had a plan.

Peggy asked: "What are you going to do?"

Jeno looked at Peggy, then pointed to himself: "Those Skrulls, using the President's name, want me to sit idly by, to fight with the army and deplete humanity's strength, but my answer is that they are dreaming."

Jeno looked out the window, his gaze passing through the tall buildings and landing on the white oval building: "If he wants destruction, I will give him destruction!"

As his words fell, Jeno suddenly punched through the glass and flew into the air outside the window.

Peggy hadn't even registered what was happening when she saw a series of fiery explosions light up in the sky. It turned out that Jeno's figure was constantly intercepting the missiles and shells heading towards S.W.O.R.D.

"Boom!"

Jeno's figure, like a sharp sword, pierced through a missile, then continued without stopping towards the army tank formation below.

The army's Commander only saw a blurred afterimage sweep past, raising a fierce gale and dust. The figure in the red cape suddenly appeared before him.

"Homelander!" The middle-aged military officer's heart was filled with fear, but he still stared at Jeno with a serious expression: "You are under arrest! Immediately raise your hands and surrender!"

Chapter 132: Young Talents Needed

Washington.

The roads, which should have been bustling with traffic, were instead filled with active U.S. military heavy tanks, and heavily armed soldiers looked grim, as if they were going to war with another nation.

However, the hands holding their guns trembled uncontrollably, and the reason was simple.

The enemy they were facing was the man known as the god of human realm.

His imposing physique, the ever-present fake smile on his lips, and that dark red cape.

His deeds were known throughout the World, and his power was deeply ingrained in people's hearts.

No one could guarantee that they could defeat a man known as the god of human realm.

Perhaps, if he wished, he could easily slaughter these worthless cannon fodder soldiers.

"Colonel."

General Jeno stood at the forefront of the army, smiling as he stared at the middle-aged officer in front of him, glancing at the insignia on his shoulder.

Using his 'Shattering Illusion' power, he could discern that this man was not a Skrull, but merely a soldier following orders.

So, General Jeno decided to give him a chance to live: "Listen, the Water in this matter is very deep, I suggest you let your troops stay here and not act rashly. It won't be long before the World returns to normal."

The Colonel pursed his lips, clenching his fists, his heart in a fierce battle.

His unit had the most advanced weapons, the most powerful tanks, and soldiers who feared no Death.

But he knew that in front of General Jeno, these things were like a pile of scrap metal, posing no threat whatsoever.

If they truly fought General Jeno, their only outcome would be defeat.

"Think carefully, why would the White House suddenly issue charges against me?" General Jeno walked up to the man, patted his shoulder: "The fact that you're in this position means your brain isn't stupid."

The Colonel remained silent, but his mind had already begun to ponder General Jeno's words.

"You've spent so many years climbing to this position, you must have your own family and friends, right? I don't want to harm you and your soldiers, but if you insist on being my enemy, I will also show the highest respect to my enemies and send them to hell."

"Now, tell me your answer." General Jeno's tone grew cold, the smile on his face vanishing.

He had already given them a chance; if they insisted on seeking Death, he could only grant their wish.

"Hoo."

The Colonel took a deep breath, looking seriously at General Jeno and saying: "General Jeno, I believe in you!"

"Everyone, put down your weapons and stand by!"

Immediately, the soldiers seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, dropping their weapons. To be honest, they also wanted to live.

"A wise choice, Colonel." General Jeno patted the man's shoulder in encouragement.

After saying this, General Jeno looked up and flew high into the sky.

"Bang!"

His figure turned into an afterimage, General Jeno's target was the White House.

Since it had been confirmed that the President was an impostor, there was no need for that President to live.

Meanwhile, inside the White House, a group of Skrullsdisguised as White House security guards were on high alert.

They had set up energy shields around them, the kind only found on Skrull spacecraft. These shields could easily withstand meteor impacts.

"Wait, something's coming!"

A Skrull looked up in surprise, only to see an afterimage plummeting from the sky above.

"Boom!"

The afterimage violently crashed above the White House, and immediately, a bright purple energy shield lit up above the White House.

"It's Homelander!"

The faces of these Skrulls were grim as they gazed at the figure appearing in the sky.

A Skrull officer reassured his subordinates: "Don't worry, we have the Iron Curtain defense net, that guy can't break it!"

General Jeno expressionlessly looked at the purple shield below him: "Do you think putting on a turtle shell will make me helpless against you?"

General Jeno grinned, then looked up and flew to an even higher altitude.

"He, that guy left?" A Skrull found it hard to believe.

"No, no!"

A Skrull, seeing the figure flying further and further away, subconsciously said: "He looks like he wants to strike the White House from a higher altitude!"

As his words fell, in the high sky, the small Black dot grew closer and faster, its extreme speed even causing the air around the afterimage to ignite with a Red glow.

"Boom!"

An Earth-shattering explosion erupted, like an arrow piercing a balloon.

The purple light curtain was instantly covered in cracks.

General Jeno raised his fist expressionlessly: "You like playing schemes, do you?"

"Bang!"

The terrifying fist fiercely slammed into the Iron Curtain, increasing the cracks on the purple light curtain.

"You like disguising and infiltrating, do you?"

General Jeno punched the light curtain again.

"Bang!"

The Skrulls watched in horror as their proud light curtain developed even more cracks.

It seemed as if it would shatter into pieces at any second.

"I'm going in now and killing all of you." General Jenosmiled, delivering another punch, its extreme speed even creating a sonic boom in the air!

"Crack!"

Unable to withstand the mighty power of punch after punch, the purple light curtain shattered with a roar.

The Skrulls watched in terror as the light curtain exploded, then the Commander reacted and shouted:

"Fire!"

Countless multicolored laser weapons struck General Jeno, emitting sizzling sounds.

"Is this all you've got?" General Jeno expressionlessly looked down at the Skrulls below him.

"Your fearful expressions remind me of lambs waiting to be slaughtered."

General Jeno's eyes glowed Red, gradually gathering thermal energy. Then, a destructive beam of light composed of thermal particles plummeted, cleaving the ground and sweeping over the Skrulls.

Everything in the path of the laser turned to charcoal.

The wails of the Skrulls echoed through the White House. Faced with the terrifying Heat Vision, no one could resist; even those hiding behind buildings would be pierced by the Heat Vision and die instantly.

This was a one-sided Carnage.

"And the rats hiding in the White House." General Jeno's gaze fell on the Skrull disguised as the President in the distant White House. The other party was holding a communication device, reporting the situation here to his superiors.

"Whoosh!"

General Jeno violently crashed through the White Housewall, then instantly appeared in front of the Skrull, grabbing his neck: "What are you chatting about? Mind if I join?"

With that, General Jeno twisted the Skrull's neck and snatched the communication device from the man's hand: "Hello there, Skrull."

The entity on the other end of the phone seemed not to have expected General Jeno to breach the White Houseso quickly, but the other party was also bold, chuckling and saying: "Hello there, General Jeno, god of human realm, I've heard much about you."

"Heh heh, run as soon as possible before I find you, little bug." General Jeno said into the phone: "Don't let me find you, or I will crush your bones inch by inch and make you regret ever coming to Earth."

"Your words are indeed powerful, but only if you can find me." The owner of the voice, Glavis, was in a room, taking a bite of an apple on the table: "And before that, you'll have to welcome the 'little gift' I'm sending you."

Chapter 133: Communicating with Charles.

The communication facility was hung up, and Jenocrushed the device in his hand, the Zhan blue device bursting with a flash of electricity, declaring it Waste.

Jeno tilted his head slightly; a small team was hurrying towards him from a distance.

Jeno looked in the direction of the team and noticed it was a young military officer leading several strangely dressed individuals.

Jeno glanced and immediately recognized their identities: "The Mutant team?"

He had thought the Mutant team project was shelved after Old Jack was taken out, but it seemed the project was still moving forward.

"Heh, are they another bunch of fools who've been duped?" Jeno sneered, walking out of the White House, which he had crashed into and ruined.

His gaze swept around, and he saw Steve and two others trapped within a barrier in the corner.

These three unlucky individuals, for some unknown reason, were confined within a purple barrier.

Steve, seemingly exhausted, lay on the ground, looking utterly drained.

"Sigh."

Jeno sighed; these three idiots, Steve, had actually been captured by Skrulls?

Looking at the Mutant team approaching, Jeno had an idea.

"Buzz!"

A powerful Heat Vision cut through the barrier trapping the three.

Before Steve and the others could react, the purple barrier above their heads shattered with a crash.

Jeno extinguished the red glow in his eyes and walked up to the three, hands behind his back.

"Boss?"

Viktor was a little surprised, rubbing his nose: "How did you get here?"

The three had thought they might be imprisoned for a while, but Jeno had suddenly appeared.

"If I hadn't come, you'd have had to cut off pieces of Steveto eat," Jeno said, giving the embarrassed trio an annoyed look.

"Jeno, the people here at the White House are not right."

Steve rubbed his aching chest and said, "They all seem to have been replaced by aliens."

"Of course, I know, Steve." Jeno pointed to the ruins behind him.

"These aliens are Skrulls; they replaced our President and ordered an attack on me."

"Now I'm going to find the masterminds behind this, and your mission is to deal with the incoming Mutant team."

"Can you do it?"

Steve nodded: "Of course!"

The anger of being fooled by the Skrulls weighed heavily in his heart, and Steve now just wanted to vent urgently.

He stood up, gripping his Vibranium shield, and shouted, "The Boys, assemble!"

Watching Steve's somewhat muddled words, Jenosmiled, then flew into the sky and departed under the gaze of Steve and the others.

The lawn slowly trembled; Steve led Viktor and the two others to look outside the White House.

A huge, burly Mutant and several other Mutants were walking towards them.

"Lightning Kid Steve."

The burly man leading the group twisted his neck and said, "You attacked the White House; surrender and don't cause any more meaningless bloodshed."

"You don't understand what you're doing." Steve pointed to the Skrull corpses on the ground: "These guys have all been replaced by Skrulls!"

The burly man grinned, showing a cruel smile: "Sorry, my orders are to kill you traitors!"

The two groups exchanged glances and then charged at each other.

S.W.O.R.D.

As soon as Jeno returned to S.W.O.R.D., he took his secretary Claire to the archives: "Have the Agents found a boy named Charles yet?"

Claire quickly took out a stack of brand-new files and placed them on the table: "These are all children named Charles."

"But if we rank them by family wealth…" Claire took out the first file and handed it to Jeno: "Charles Francis Xavier, age six, currently residing in a Villa in the town of Lavia, New Jersey.

His father is a scientist, and his mother is a university Professor."

Claire was a little confused; she didn't understand why Jeno kept wanting the organization to search for a boy named Charles.

The name Charles was very common in America; they had collected thousands of names of Charles, if not tens of thousands.

"That's him." Jeno's lips curved into a smile: "This child is the key to defeating the Skrulls."

Saying that, Jeno turned to look at Claire and said, "Go tell Howard and the others to wait for me on the seventh floor of the office."

After giving his instructions, Jeno pushed open the archive door and left.

Jeno walked out of S.W.O.R.D. and flew into the sky, controlling his flight ability, and quickly arrived in the town of Lavia, New Jersey.

With his super vision, Jeno quickly found his target for this trip in an apartment outside the town.

"Name: Charles Francis Xavier."

"Race: Mutant."

"Biological Level: 3."

"It's you, kid." Jeno chuckled, then transformed into a streak of light, smashing through the apartment rooftop and appearing before Charles.

"Oh my God!"

At this moment, Charles was not yet the famous bald Professor of later years.

He had a thick head of black hair and wide eyes, staring at Jeno, who had descended from the sky.

But the child quickly calmed down, displaying a mature mindset.

"Mr. Jeno Wilson, it's a pleasure to meet you." Little Charles put down his doll and looked up at Jeno.

"Hello, Charles." Jeno stood before Charles: "I need you to help me find someone!"

Charles sighed and said, "Do you want me to use my abilities?"

The little boy shook his head and said, "Probing others' thoughts is unethical."

Charles answered earnestly.

Jeno chuckled; he knew how to deal with this kind of kid.

So Jeno nodded and said, "You're right, but those Skrullsintend to destroy Earth, and you wouldn't want humanity to live under Skrull rule, would you?"

Jeno's words made Charles's expression stiffen.

Just as Jeno said, he didn't intend to become a Skrull captive.

No creature should be a captive of another.

This kind of enslavement was not what Charles wanted to see.

Though he was a child, he always considered himself an Earthling.

"And, Charles." Jeno slowly bent down and whispered in Charles's ear: "Alien beings are not human."

Jeno presented Charles with the famous argument that aliens are not people.

"I just need you to use your abilities to detect the Skrullshiding in the shadows."

"Skrulls are not considered human…"

Charles repeated Jeno's words thoughtfully, a look of hesitation flashing across his face, but he finally made up his mind and nodded: "Alright, I'm willing to help you, but my abilities cannot scan the entire globe."

"That's certainly not a problem." Jeno smiled and said, "Let's go, I'll take you back to S.W.O.R.D."

He had scientists like Howard under his command.

It wouldn't be a problem for them to build a Cerebro for Charles, perhaps even a luxurious version made of Vibranium.

Before he finished speaking, the Symbiote within Jenoshot out tentacles and wrapped around Charles.

Before Charles could react, the two flew into the sky and headed towards S.W.O.R.D.

Chapter 134: All Exposed

S.W.O.R.D.

With the combined efforts of Howard, Dr. Zola, and other scientists, a brainwave amplifier that met Jeno's requirements was finally created.

It was less an instrument and more an enlarged 'antenna' made entirely of Vibranium and other materials.

Howard introduced it proudly:

"This device can scan the entire World to find those Skrulls."

"Very good, bring Charles over," Jeno nodded, instructing his Agent.

Charles quickly arrived at the small room.

"Charles, the future of humanity depends on you," Jenosaid with a smile, patting Charles's shoulder, giving him a pep talk, and at the same time leaving Symbiote tissue within him.

For an energy device that could easily control the entire World, Jeno naturally had to be wary of Charles, and the Symbiote Carnage Shadow was his backup plan. Jenothought to himself, "Carnage Shadow, if this kid has any other ideas, kill him immediately."

"Ying!"

At this moment, Charles was unaware that Jeno had installed a "Carnage Shadow brand" Symbiote heart bomb in him.

He instinctively shivered, feeling a chill in his heart, but Charles didn't think much of it. Instead, he looked at the amplifier not far away with a complicated expression, then looked up at General Jeno and said, "General Jeno, I only promised to help you find those Skrulls hiding on Earth. I will not interfere with other people's thoughts."

"Of course," Jeno nodded with a smile.

The kid Charles in this World, just like in the movie, strictly constrained his personality with morals, avoiding becoming a second "Yuri."

Howard, at his side, was a little surprised: "Why does this kid speak as maturely as an adult?"

Jeno did not answer Howard but watched Charles sit on the Vibranium chair and put on the Vibranium helmet.

As electricity provided energy, in an instant, Charlesfound himself as if he were in the clouds, with thousands upon thousands of human projections appearing around him.

These phantoms rapidly flashed by, and Charles soon noticed a difference: compared to human souls, some green humanoids in his mind were as clear as fireflies in the night. Charles couldn't help but exclaim:

"I, I found them!"

Blood seeped from Charles's nose and mouth; such a terrifying act of scanning the entire World caused him considerable physical damage: "Those guys are hiding in the Ulan nuclear power plant, that's their main base!"

"Nuclear power plant!?" A glint flashed in Jeno's eyes. So these little rats were hiding in the Mao Xiong territory. No wonder he hadn't found any trace of them after searching all of America.

Jeno was very satisfied with this discovery. With a general direction, he could now act to root out those little rats and crush them.

"Very good, Charles, you can rest now."

Hearing Jeno's words, Charles couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, quickly removing the brainwave helmet from his head and wiping the blood from his nose.

"Jeno, that's in Mao Xiong territory. Won't it cause diplomatic disputes?" Howard was a little worried, as relations between the two sides were very bad right now.

"It doesn't matter, the Skrulls must die." Jeno shook his head, stepped out of S.W.O.R.D., then flickered, instantly flying into the sky, and then heading towards Mao Xiong territory.

At this moment, in Mao Xiong territory.

Since the end of World War II, a new Cold War had begun, and the Iron Curtain speech delivered by Old Churchill intensified the struggle between U.S. and Mao Xiong.

At a post Sentinel post on the front line, several Sentinels noticed an abnormality in the radar signal tower: "Officer! Something is flying towards us at an extremely fast speed!"

"Its size is very small, so it can't be a fighter jet, but ordinary birds don't have this size either." The communicator looked at the small red dot on the screen with some confusion.

"The direction indicates it's flying from the other side of the coast!"

The Officer, upon hearing the news, immediately walked to the military radar, staring at the constantly flashing and approaching red dot on the screen, and said in a panic: "Quickly report to headquarters, tell them to dispatch fighter jets!"

Soon, an LA-7 fighter jet from a base not far from the outpost took off urgently, chasing in the direction detected by the radar.

The two pilots quickly piloted their fighter jets to catch up with the "red dot" on the radar, but when they saw the so-called invading fighter, their jaws dropped.

"My, my God! What, what is that?"

"That's a person!"

"A flying person!" One of the fighter pilots widened his eyes and shouted in horror at his companion: "It's Homelander! U.S.'s Homelander has invaded our territory!"

At this moment, their hearts were filled with fear. Although the higher-ups tried their best to cover up and belittle Homelander's strength, these people knew that Homelander was a terrifying weapon of war.

"No, we can't let him break into our territory, open fire!"

As the Captain gave the order, the pilot pressed the fighter jet button, and two machine guns whistled, spraying bullets at the figure.

Meanwhile, high in the sky, Jeno flew unhurriedly towards his destination.

His extreme hearing keenly caught the whistling engine sound behind him, and then he swooped down, dodging the bullets that flew over his head.

"Mao Xiong's fighter jets?" Jeno thought to himself.

"Since you're looking for death, then I'll send you to your death."

Then, the pilots saw the figure they were chasing suddenly accelerate, turning into a Shadow, creating several sonic booms in the air before disappearing.

"Target lost, repeat! Target lost!"

"Where did he go?"

Before they could react, a Shadow flashed by, like a giant bird pouncing from behind the fighter jet, its steel body shattering the fighter's wing. The unbalanced fighter jet suddenly plummeted downwards, the pilots screaming in terror until it crashed into the snow below, erupting in a ball of Fire.

Having dealt with the obstructive fighter jets, Jenowithdrew his gaze and turned to fly towards the Ulan nuclear power plant.

"Skrulls, I hope you've cleaned your necks and are ready to die."

At the same time, at the nuclear power plant on the other side, the Skrulls were unaware that their location had been exposed.

The leader, Glavis, was watching a report on a black and White television on a wooden shelf, which was broadcasting the U.S. President declaring War on the god of human realm, and a few minutes later, the god of human realm attacked the White House, allegedly killing the President.

The communication device nearby projected the image of Deputy Commander Priscilla.

"Do you see, Priscilla? Your vision is too narrow." Glavissmiled confidently: "I just had their puppet President say a few words, and Jeno Wilson was completely flustered."

Just as Glavis was about to say something, the ceiling above him suddenly trembled.

"Boom!"

As the concrete shattered, a figure slowly floated down.

"Who is it!?" Glavis's face changed drastically. The guards outside the door also heard the commotion and rushed in.

A group of people looked up at the figure floating in mid-air, his dark red cape indicating his identity to everyone.

Chapter 135: Fury's Pain

"How is this possible!" the Skrulls' leader roared, uncharacteristically losing his composure.

"How could you find this place so quickly!"

He stared intently at Jeno, wanting an answer from him.

But Jeno wasn't some third-rate villain who would waste words on his enemy before killing him.

The only response the Skrulls' leader received was the red beams of light emanating from Jeno's eyes.

"Buzz!"

Extreme beams shot out from Jeno's eyes, their violent power instantly melting many Skrulls present. Their leader, Glavis, pressed the teleportation device on his wrist, attempting to escape, but Jeno's rampant Heat Vision was faster than Glavis.

It effortlessly sliced through the Skrull's body, spilling large amounts of dark green blood.

His legless upper body fell to the ground, his eyes fixed on Jeno: "Empress, I am unwilling!"

"Dying people shouldn't be so dramatic," Jeno plunged down, his Vibranium boots kicking the Skrull's head apart. White brain matter mixed with flesh splattered against the wall behind him, revealing Jeno's brutality without reservation.

Then, Jeno cast his gaze towards a projector not far away, where another Skrull was still present.

Although she wore the face of a Black woman, Jeno could tell at a glance that she wasn't human!

After all, anyone who could be on the phone with the leader here must have an unusual identity.

At this moment, the woman's face was filled with terror as she looked at Jeno. His figure, descending from the sky and slaughtering all in his path, was deeply etched into her mind, especially the scene of him kicking Glavis's head apart, which lingered in her mind, impossible to forget.

"You, you murderer!" the woman couldn't help but scold.

Jeno was unmoved by the woman's accusation, merely staring at the screen and saying, "You'll be the next to die."

Just then, a familiar dark, bald head appeared in the projector's frame, and a comical voice rang out: "My dear, what are you doing?"

The woman's expression changed drastically, and she immediately hung up the call.

Jeno stared at the black screen, a cold smile playing on his lips. It truly was as if someone had sent a pillow when he was sleepy. He had planned to return to S.W.O.R.D.and have Charles investigate this woman's identity, but the "滷蛋" (marinated egg, a nickname for Fury) who suddenly appeared on screen had exposed the woman's whereabouts.

"However, it's truly unheard of for the future famous Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. to develop a romance with a Skrull," Jeno's expression was peculiar. He could only say that Fury was indeed worthy of becoming a leader of Agents, daring to take the lead and engage in a romance with an alien. Not everyone possessed such courage.

"But, if Fury could turn back from his misguided path, it would be a beautiful story," Jeno showed his familiar fake smile, then abruptly flew away from the ruins destroyed by Heat Vision.

He was going to arrange a good show, though the two actors might not be so happy.

At this moment, in Washington.

In a single apartment, Priscilla, the Skrull Deputy Commander, operating under the alias Jane, sat on the sofa, feeling somewhat restless.

Her mind was still replaying the scene she had witnessed earlier.

Homelander, descending from the sky, had effortlessly slaughtered her comrades.

"Hey, my dear, what are you thinking about?" Fury looked at his female companion with some confusion. He had just noticed her looking at something and talking to herself. He was now a bit worried about his girlfriend's mental state.

"Fury, I'm fine," Priscilla snapped back, smiling as she hugged Fury, but the fear in her heart still made her blurt out: "Fury, I mean, if possible, would you be willing to leave here with me and go to a beautiful place?"

"Leave Washington?" Fury had a Black man's questioning face. He took his girlfriend's hand and sat down, saying hesitantly, "But I have a job here."

Although Nigger was still at the bottom of the food chain in this era, Fury believed that given time, he could eventually climb up.

Hearing her boyfriend's answer, Priscilla lowered her head in disappointment. Then she looked up again, forcing a smile: "Alright, I'll go buy some dinner. Wait for me at home."

At this moment, the woman had made up her mind to escape from here. After all, she had already been exposed, and Homelander might come for her at any time.

For her life and the mission entrusted by the Empress, she chose to abandon her boyfriend, Nick Fury.

Priscilla pushed open the door, only to see two women blocking her way.

Natasha shook her Widow's Bite on her wrist, while Peggy held a Vibranium shield and a Vibraniumlongsword. The two stood on either side, in a typical encirclement posture, blocking Priscilla.

Looking at the Hei Mei in front of her, Natasha chuckled and said, "Madam, where are you going?"

Upon seeing the two women walk in, Priscilla's face instantly changed.

They had conducted detailed investigations before invading Earth, knowing that these two women were Jeno Wilson's left and right hands.

At the same time, they were also powerful superhumans.

"It seems you've found me," a bitter expression appeared on Priscilla's face. She knew she couldn't escape.

Skrulls were unmatched in espionage and infiltration, but their individual combat abilities were incredibly weak.

"Peggy? Natasha?"

Fury, hearing the commotion from inside the house, entered the doorway to see the three women in a standoff: "What's happening?"

"Fury, long time no see," Peggy greeted Fury while keeping her eyes fixed on Priscilla.

Natasha, on the other hand, gave a malicious smile and said, "S.W.O.R.D. has a date with your little girlfriend. Do you want to come along?"

Listening to the two women, Fury's expression turned somewhat ugly as he looked at his girlfriend, Priscilla: "What do you mean? Is there something wrong with my girlfriend?"

As a future leader of Agents and a qualified Agent, Furyknew that if S.W.O.R.D. came knocking, things were not simple.

"Heh heh, you'll have to ask your girlfriend about that," Natasha said, staring at Priscilla.

"No, what are you two talking about?" Fury's only thought at this moment was to curse. Why were they all acting like Riddlers?

"Fury, haven't you been following the recent news?" Natasha said with a smile, revealing the riddle: "I'm honored to inform you that your girlfriend is a Skrull."

Having spent a long time with Jeno, Natasha had also learned the art of sharp-tongued remarks.

Fury frowned, his first reaction being disbelief: "A Skrull? No, Jane can't be a Skrull."

"Fury, the evidence is conclusive. Don't do anything foolish," Peggy gripped her shield, watching Fury's right hand slowly move towards his waist.

"Are you warning me?" Fury shook his head and smiled, then raised his hands. Although he was very unwilling to believe it, he had already guessed the general situation from his girlfriend's dejected expression.

Perhaps, just as Peggy and they said, his girlfriend really was a Skrull.

As a qualified Agent, Fury naturally knew how to choose.

"Fury..." His girlfriend Priscilla looked at Fury one last time, then pursed her lips and smiled: "Goodbye."

She knew that this trip would likely be a permanent farewell.

Chapter 136: Cosmic Energy Project

In the glaring room, Priscilla slowly opened her eyes.

All she could see was a vast whiteness. Her memory stopped the moment she followed Peggy Carter into the S.W.O.R.D. main entrance, and then she woke up again in this place, which was called an interrogation room.

"Jenny, are you comfortable using this Earthling's name?" A cold male voice sounded from above.

As the Deputy Commander of the Skrull invasion force, Priscilla quickly analyzed the current situation.

She hadn't died but was held in an interrogation-like room, which meant the S.W.O.R.D. authorities wanted to extract information from her.

"What do you want to do? Extract information from me? That's impossible." Priscilla looked up and sneered in the direction of the voice.

"Extract information from you? No, no, no, you think too highly of yourself."

As the voice faded, Priscilla saw the wall on her left slowly turn transparent, becoming a glass wall.

And behind the glass wall, a male Skrull was tied to a chair.

This was clearly a one-way mirror; Priscilla could see him, but he couldn't see her.

Seeing her own kind also imprisoned there, Priscilla's face immediately darkened. She could guarantee that she would never betray the Empire, but she couldn't guarantee her companions' loyalty to the Empire.

Especially seeing the Skrull's bloodied and mangled fingers, it was clear he had been subjected to cruel coercion.

"Your companion has told us everything, including your Skrull plans and future intentions."

"The reason we didn't kill you is because I want to give you a chance to atone for your mistakes." The voice said faintly, "Join S.W.O.R.D., serve S.W.O.R.D., and we can let you live."

Priscilla's face was grim: "You want me to betray my Empire? Impossible."

The other party seemed unsurprised by the woman's declaration and said to himself, "Do you know?"

"In my opinion, your loyalty is just that the price of betrayal isn't high enough."

Outside the S.W.O.R.D. interrogation room, Jeno stood with his hands behind his back, staring at Priscilla: "Your feelings for Fury cannot be faked."

Although he didn't know what this alien woman saw in Fury, S.W.O.R.D. Agent investigations showed that Priscilla was very good to Fury.

Many of the gold pieces these Skrulls brought from outer space were used by Priscilla to buy clothes for Fury. Even Fury's small apartment, bought with a loan, had its remaining loan paid off by Priscilla. If she weren't a Skrull, she would truly be called a rich woman.

Hearing Jeno talk about Fury, Priscilla's previously firm expression subtly changed.

Jeno observed the woman's expression, secretly chuckling to himself. He hadn't expected this woman to be so infatuated.

Well, it wasn't surprising that aliens could also be infatuated.

"I..."

Priscilla hesitated, and Jeno pressed on, "Think about it carefully, do you think your so-called Empire truly has the ability to conquer this Planet?"

Priscilla's mind replayed the scene of Jeno slaughtering Skrulls, and the more she thought about it, the more despair she felt.

"Not to mention you've already been captured by S.W.O.R.D. If we release you, will your Empire still trust you?"

"You have no choice now but to defect to S.W.O.R.D."

"By joining S.W.O.R.D., you will gain a boyfriend, wealth, fame, and live openly on this Planet as a Skrull."

"In short, I'll give you one day to think it over carefully."

As his voice fell, the brightly lit interrogation room plunged into darkness again.

"Will this method work?" Howard, standing beside him, asked.

"Trying it won't hurt." Jeno sneered, "Besides, it's just a move for later."

"Oh, Jeno, Dr. Zola said he has a lead on the cosmic energy application in the human body you mentioned last time."

Howard thought of Bucky, who had been locked in the laboratory recently. Poor Bucky, ever since the modification, he had become somewhat abnormal, his intelligence even at a child's level.

But it couldn't be denied that Bucky's abilities were indeed powerful, especially how cosmic energy made his body modifications extraordinary.

"Theoretically, it fully supports us in conducting human experiments, but we currently lack volunteers." Howardexplained the current predicament to Jeno.

"Volunteers?"

Jeno stroked his chin, then said, "Since we lack volunteers, let's recruit experimental subjects from the Air Force and Navy."

"I believe the Navy and Air Force will give me this favor."

As the two were talking, an Agent came to report: "Officer, The Boys have eliminated the Mutant squad at the White House."

"They found the missing President and others in the White House Underground Room shelter."

"Old Du was actually held in the White HouseUnderground Room?" Howard was surprised.

"I thought those Skrulls would kill them and completely replace them."

"It's good that they're found." Jeno glanced indifferently out the window: "It's time to put an end to these farces."

At the same time, at the White House.

The President, who had just been rescued from a nutrient tank by Steve and his group, looked grim.

Old Du could no longer remember how many times he had been kidnapped.

First Mutants, then Skrulls, who would be next?

As the President pondered, a sonic boom sounded overhead. Jeno descended from the sky, a smile on his face, looking down at Old Du:

"Mr. President, I'm glad you're alright."

"Jeno!" Seeing Jeno, the President breathed a sigh of relief: "Those, those aliens..."

The President's words were interrupted by Jeno: "Relax, Mr. President, those invading Skrulls have all been killed by S.W.O.R.D. What you need to do now is hold a press conference and tell the World about the Skrull invasion."

Old Du did not refuse Jeno's suggestion. After understanding what happened, the President quickly convened a meeting and, under the gaze of all U.S. citizens, exposed the Skrull conspiracy.

Meanwhile, in a bar at an Air Force Base, several pilots, watching Old Du on TV indignantly announce the existence of aliens like Skrulls, began to discuss animatedly.

"I knew it, Homelander is innocent!"

A blonde White woman triumphantly pulled ten U.S. dollars from her companion's hand.

Her companion, a Hei Mei, rubbed her forehead: "Shouldn't the focus be on the Skrulls who can transform into human form and infiltrate society?"

Hei Mei glanced at the girl, who was in a state of infatuation, and shook her head: "Although I'm also a fan of Homelander, I'm not as fanatical as you."

She knew that her best friend's room was plastered with all posters of Jeno.

"No one can resist Homelander!" The girl proudly puffed out her chest, then deflated a bit, saying, "It's a pity I probably won't be able to see my idol in this life."

Chapter 137 Volunteer Selection

"Second Squadron, emergency assembly."

The Lieutenant's voice echoed through the lounge's broadcast system.

Hei Mei shrugged, "Well, looks like our break time is over."

Jin Fa Da Niu was also annoyed, "Damn it, it's always like this. What's this broken business now?"

Following the broadcast, the two arrived outdoors, at an open-air airfield, where several men in suits, dressed like Agents, stood shoulder to shoulder with the Lieutenant.

"Agent Carter, these are the candidates from our Air Force Base for the selection." The Lieutenant introduced the Agents, "They are all excellent pilots."

"I don't think so." The leading female Agent chuckled. Her name was Rosa, and she was one of the girls Jenorescued from the Red Room.

The woman stepped forward, her gaze sweeping over the two men and two women. "I am Rosa, from S.W.O.R.D."

Upon hearing the organization the woman belonged to, the four couldn't help but show envy. They hadn't expected this Agent to be from S.W.O.R.D.

What kind of organization is S.W.O.R.D.?

Created by Jeno Wilson, it's a powerful combination that brings together The Boys and The Seven, with well-known Super Heroes like Kid Flash, Wolverine, Sabretooth, and Black Widow all originating from there.

Under Jeno's long-term planning,

their image has deeply penetrated the hearts of the people.

Not to mention the spin-off toys, dolls, and secondary creation films and other IPs that have continuously sparked a Super Hero craze in America.

Among the younger generation today, if you don't know S.W.O.R.D. and Homelander, then you're not keeping up with the times.

Of course, what is most striking is that the benefits for S.W.O.R.D. Agents are very generous. Director Jeno has close ties with Howard Stark Industries and is definitely not short on money.

This often leads to FBI and CIA Agents jumping ship to S.W.O.R.D., frequently making FBI Director Hoover furious.

However, what the four were more concerned about now was why these Agents were looking for them.

Without making them wait long, Rosa continued, "The reason I am here is to complete a mission assigned by my superiors. That is to select an excellent and qualified candidate from among you to participate in the Super Hero program initiated by S.W.O.R.D."

"Super Hero Selection Program?"

All four contestants' hearts skipped a beat. Is there such a good thing?

It's important to know that becoming a Super Hero signed by S.W.O.R.D. means a drastic increase in income, as well as countless attention and prestige.

Perhaps to put it simply, as long as you become a signed hero of S.W.O.R.D., you've reached the pinnacle of your life.

"How do we participate in the selection?" The pilot named Chuck clenched his fist, which was the size of a sandbag.

This was an opportunity right in front of them, a once-in-a-lifetime chance!

Rosa didn't keep them in suspense. The woman crossed her arms over her chest and chuckled, "The selection is very simple. Whoever can last the longest against me will win."

Upon hearing this, everyone fell silent.

Fighting against a S.W.O.R.D. Agent? Whoever lasts the longest wins.

It sounded simple, but S.W.O.R.D.'s selection process was unusually strict, and this assessor's strength was definitely not weak.

Rosa smiled and said, "Of course, if anyone doesn't want to participate, you can withdraw now."

Not a single person expressed a desire to withdraw. This was a chance to change their destiny.

"Alright, since no one is withdrawing, then you go first." Rosa pointed to the pilot who had spoken first.

Everyone made space for the two, and Chuck clenched his fists, staring at Rosa.

Taking a deep breath, Chuck roared and charged at Rosa. His close-combat style was a typical charging approach, a fist suddenly swinging towards Rosa's cheek, intending to use the high mobility from his movement to take Rosadown.

"Too slow." Rosa shook her head, ducking at the moment the fist swung down, then delivering a sharp uppercut to the man's chin, followed by a kick to his abdomen.

The series of blows sent Chuck into a daze before he even had time to react.

Hei Mei also looked shocked, "My goodness, did you see her moves? Her techniques are just like the Kung Fu from the Panda side."

The female Agent was unfazed by their shock, merely glancing down at her watch and saying, "Chuck lasted ten seconds."

"Next."

Another male also used the same offensive as Chuck, striding forward, intending to engage Rosa in close combat.

"Hah!"

The woman let out a low cry, placed her hands on the ground, and used a sweep kick to take down her opponent, then delivered two punches to the strong man's neck, causing him to fall unconscious.

Seeing this fierce scene, Hei Mei shook her head wildly, "That looks painful, I choose to withdraw."

She glanced at her female companion, Carol, giving Jin Fa Da Niu a "good luck" expression.

"So, are you going to withdraw too?" Rosa stepped on the back of the unconscious man, staring directly at Carol.

"No, I choose to fight." Carol shook her head, her gaze firm, "Giving up is not my style!"

"Good resolve, but we still have to see your strength speak."

The two women exchanged glances, then Carol suddenly sped up and charged at Rosa.

"Ha!"

Carol threw a straight punch at Rosa's face.

But the woman merely tilted her head slightly to dodge the attack, then raised her right hand, intending to use her familiar uppercut to take down Carol.

"Bang!"

Carol reacted quickly, blocking the punch with her hands held under her chest.

Then, Carol suddenly lunged forward, tightly embracing Rosa's body, and the two women fell to the ground, one to the left and one to the right.

"Damn it." Rosa only felt her body being tightly held. She hadn't expected Carol to respond to her attack in this way.

If you can't beat her, then restrict her movements. This method was truly unexpected.

"So, does this mean I lasted the longest?" Carol asked, silently counting in her heart.

Rosa sighed helplessly, patting the girl's back and saying, "Alright, let go of me. You did indeed last the longest among these people. Congratulations, you've been successfully selected."

Carol awkwardly released Rosa. The woman stood up, rubbing her slightly sore arm, but her face was filled with undisguised joy. She could hardly believe her ears, "I, I succeeded?"

"Hooray!" Carol cheered happily.

"Alright, get ready. I'll take you back to S.W.O.R.D." Rosasaid, rubbing her back.

"Okay, I'll go get ready right away."

Carol left the training ground, and Hei Mei followed beside her, a little surprised, "I really didn't expect you to do it."

Although the method of victory was a bit ungraceful, it was a success nonetheless.

"Rona, this is great, I can go to S.W.O.R.D.!" Carolexcitedly hugged her best friend's arm, her face full of smiles.

"Congratulations, Carol." Hei Mei smiled, genuinely happy for Carol, "But when you see Homelander, don't forget to ask him for an autograph for me!"

Chapter 138 Carol Danvers

S.W.O.R.D..

Carol walked into this mysterious organization, which had never been interviewed by the media, with her personal luggage.

On the first floor of the tall building, Agents came and went, their faces hurried. The Skrulls' invasion caused a lot of damage, and there even appeared alien protection organizations, demanding S.W.O.R.D. treat the Skrullskindly.

Facing these lunatics, Jeno's instruction was to pour concrete on them all and throw them into the ocean.

"Wow, I didn't expect S.W.O.R.D. to have so many Agents."

Carol, who was visiting S.W.O.R.D. for the first time, was very surprised.

Her gaze fell on the display cabinet not far away, where Japanese demons were tied to a cross, engulfed in flames, and some human heads, all of which made Carolvery curious.

"Come with me." Rosa hooked Carol's neck and led her into the elevator.

Rosa's fingers flew as she entered the elevator password.

"Buzz!"

The elevator started, descending to the basement level.

"This is our S.W.O.R.D. underground experimental Base."

Rosa led Carol into the underground Base.

"Cool! Is that a flight backpack?" Carol excitedly looked at several Agents flying in mid-air not far away. They had something like a Water spraying pesticide tank on their backs.

"That's right, but can you walk faster?" Rosa was a little helpless, her hands on her hips, watching Carol, who kept stopping and starting behind her.

"I still need to take you to see the Director."

"Director!?" Carol's eyes lit up. "Is it Homelander?"

"That's right, it's Homelander." Rosa nodded. It had to be said that Carol's personality was too lively, while Rosa's was a bit cold. She felt tired staying with Carol.

"I heard someone calling my name."

A voice sounded behind the two women. They turned around, and Carol saw Homelander, whom she had only seen in newspapers and on television, standing alive in front of her.

"Ho-Homelander!" Carol was like a fangirl seeing her idol, her face full of excitement. If there weren't so many people, Jeno even suspected the girl would pounce into his arms.

"I am Homelander." Jeno smiled, sizing up the Jin Fa Da Niu in front of him.

Exquisite features paired with a considerable chest, and a pair of long, straight legs.

It was clear that the girl exercised regularly.

Carol rubbed her cheek, her voice urgent: "I really can't believe I can see you here. This is simply too dreamy. Can I ask you for an autograph?"

"Of course, why not." Jeno smiled and shrugged, pulling a fountain pen from his pocket. He wrote his name on a piece of paper.

Jeno glanced at Rosa again and asked, "Is this the selected experimental subject?"

Rosa nodded: "That's right, her name is Carol Danvers."

"Carol Danvers?!" Jeno glanced at the Jin Fa Da Niu with some surprise. The girl was nodding in agreement.

Apparently, the Captain Marvel of his Universe was not the square-faced middle-aged woman from the movie version; on the contrary, she looked quite young and full of vitality.

But regarding Carol becoming an experimental subject, Jeno was somewhat emotional. The inertia of history had, after all, sent the girl down the path she was destined to take.

Rosa asked, "But the other colleagues haven't returned yet. Do we need to wait for all the volunteers they bring back before we start?"

"I don't think so. Just her." Jeno made the decision, giving the girl a meaningful glance: "I believe she won't disappoint me."

This simple sentence made the girl a little excited. She hadn't expected to receive Homelander's approval.

She clenched her fists and said seriously:

"Homelander, I won't disappoint you."

"Call me Jeno." Jeno smiled, patted the girl's shoulder, and gestured for Carol to follow him.

The three passed through several experimental areas and arrived at a hermetically sealed glass room.

Inside, there was a launch instrument with a futuristic design.

Beneath the top of the huge energy emitter was a long metal chair made of Vibranium.

"This is S.W.O.R.D.'s experimental plan, the UniverseEnergy Transformation Project." Jeno introduced to Carol: "Through a powerful energy beam, it stimulates a person's potential and combines with this energy to become a transcendent being."

"No, there won't be any danger, will there?" Carol pursed her lips, looking at the large energy emitter, which contained countless brilliant blue lights, appearing both beautiful and terrifying.

"Others might not be certain, but if it's you, you will definitely succeed." Jeno smiled.

In fact, the principle of the so-called Universe energy experiment was very simple: transform and extract the energy from the Tesseract and brutally infuse it into the experimenter's body using the energy conductivity of Vibranium.

There might be two results. One is what Jeno mentioned earlier: Universe energy transforming the human body into a transcendent being.

The other is that the human body cannot withstand the violent energy and then explodes like a hot air balloon.

To be honest, before this, Jeno had actually prepared for failure.

But Carol's arrival made Jeno feel that the experiment had a high probability of success.

After all, this girl, to some extent, could be considered a woman of destiny, with innate luck.

"Okay, what should I do?" Carol nervously clutched her chest, staring at the laboratory inside.

It was like opening a mysterious gift; she didn't know what awaited her next.

Success or failure?

"It's simple, sit on the black chair." Jeno pointed to the Vibranium chair in the room.

As the laboratory door opened, Carol took a deep breath, clenched her fists, and walked into the laboratory.

The air was filled with the smell of burnt electrical currents. Carol followed the instructions and sat on the chair.

"Get ready, it's about to begin." Jeno looked down at his watch.

"Three, two, one."

As the countdown ended, the huge energy emitter burst forth with dazzling blue light.

"Buzz!"

A thick beam of energy violently shot out, and countless blue and White electrical currents intertwined, engulfing Carol.

"Oh my God, it's too dazzling." Rosa instinctively turned her head away, but from the corner of her eye, she saw Jeno staring at the violent electrical current with interest.

"Officer, how is the experiment?" Rosa asked curiously.

"Hmm, so far, so good." Jeno stared at Carol, who was engulfed by the Universe energy. This energy flowed into Carol's body through the chair. With his super vision, Jenocould clearly see that this energy permeated every cell of Carol, and the violent Space Stone energy was constantly refining the woman's body.

"Ah!"

As if reaching a critical point, Carol let out a sharp wail.

"Boom!"

Her body erupted with a blue-red electrical current, driving the surrounding air currents to violently blast outwards.

"Whoosh!"

Faster than the erupting Universe energy was Jeno. Using his super speed, Jeno quickly moved all the scientists around the underground laboratory, as well as Rosa, who was by his side.

After all this was done, the Universe energy completely erupted, tearing apart the instruments inside the room, and the glass was also shattered by the powerful energy, turning into dust.

Chapter 139: Your Power Is Far Beyond This

At S.W.O.R.D.'s deserted underground Base, as the smoke and dust cleared, a figure slowly emerged into Jeno's vision.

"Huff, huff."

Dust settled on her smooth back, and sweat-drenched golden hair clung to her fair cheeks. Carol looked as if she had been pulled out of the Water, her entire body covered in beads of sweat.

"I… I feel great." Carol clenched her fists, feeling a terrifying power surging within her.

"Boom!" Carol swung her fist, smashing it heavily into the concrete floor. The gray floor cracked, and the terrifying force instantly shattered it.

"This… is this really me?" Carol looked at her perfectly intact fist with a hint of disbelief.

"Welcome to the World of the extraordinary, Carol." A male voice slowly sounded. Carol looked up to see Jenostanding not far away, hands clasped behind his back, looking at her.

As if a cool breeze passed, Carol looked down and immediately flushed with shyness, covering her vital parts with her hands. She glared at Jeno in annoyance: "Mr. Homelander, you should respect women."

"Of course, I'm a good man." Jeno chuckled.

Before he finished speaking, and before Carol could react, Jeno instantly vanished and reappeared in his original spot, holding a piece of clothing which he threw to Jin Fa Da Niu: "This is a battle suit made of Vibranium, funded by the Kingdom of Wakanda."

"Wearing it will prevent you from… exposing yourself when you use your abilities."

Carol glanced at the battle suit in her hand, no longer caring about shyness, and hastily put on the silver combat uniform.

Watching Carol finish dressing, Jeno slowly walked towards her:

"How do you feel?"

"Feel?" Carol looked at her arms, shook her head, and said with a hint of emotion: "I feel full of powerful strength."

"Is that so?" Jeno glanced at the happy Carol; she hadn't displayed the full combat power of Captain Marvel.

So, it could be roughly inferred that Carol hadn't fully mastered her abilities yet.

"Then, attack me." Jeno stood with his hands behind his back, his expression calm as he stared at Carol.

"But…" Carol hesitated.

"What? Are you worried about hurting me? Don't be ridiculous, Carol. I am Homelander. You don't have the strength to defeat me right now." Jeno extended a hand, curling his five fingers and beckoning Carol, signaling her to attack boldly.

"Alright." Carol gritted her teeth. To be honest, the previous experiment had been very painful, and she had a belly full of Fire with nowhere to vent it.

She took a deep breath to adjust her mood, then clenched her fists, her body tensing like a hunting female leopard, staring intently at Jeno.

But seeing Jeno's nonchalant expression still made Carolfeel a bit annoyed. Although she knew Homelander was very strong, that arrogant expression could indeed ignite one's anger.

"Ha!"

The next second, the woman suddenly charged at Jeno, her right fist piercing the air and whistling as it smashed towards Jeno's abdomen.

"Bang!"

To Carol's surprise, her fist struck Jeno's abdomen with extreme speed and ferocity.

"Oh my god!"

Carol's heart skipped a beat. On her first day on the job, she had hit the organization's boss.

"I'm sorry, boss…"

Just as Carol was about to apologize, she saw Jeno still standing in the same posture.

"This…"

Carol found it hard to believe. Although she had long heard of Homelander's power, witnessing her fist strike Jeno without harming him in the slightest still left her feeling a bit disappointed.

"Carol." Jeno rubbed his forehead in exasperation: "You don't really think that punch just now could hurt me, do you?"

He had thought Carol's strength would be considerable, but he hadn't expected it to be as weak as a child's punch.

"Use all your strength." Jeno stared indifferently at Carol.

"But, this is all my strength." Carol's expression was complex.

Although she had successfully endured the experimental modification, she always felt that her strength had only increased slightly.

"No, this is far from your full power." Jeno grinned. The next second, he instantly appeared beside Carol and, without a word, grabbed her by the neck.

"Ugh!"

Carol felt her neck being firmly constricted.

"Let… cough, cough, let me go!" Carol struggled desperately, the suffocating inability to breathe making her whole body tremble.

Jeno slowly leaned closer to Carol, the distance gradually closing. He could even smell the sweat on Carol: "Listen carefully, Carol, your power is far beyond this. If you don't want to die, then ignite the energy hidden within you."

Time passed by, minute by minute, and even Carol's originally rosy face turned pale with each passing second.

"Is this guy really trying to kill me?" Carol stared into Jeno's emotionless eyes, the suffocating sensation making her dizzy.

"Tsk, has she reached her limit already?" Jeno thought to himself.

Just as he was about to release his hand, Carol let out an angry roar. The violent energy within her gradually converged, and then her hands glowed with a scorching red light.

"Ah!"

Carol clenched her fists and aimed at Jeno's chest.

"Bang!"

Two streams of scorching blue violent energy struck Jeno's chest.

"That's enough." Looking at the panting Carol, Jenoguessed that this was Carol's limit.

"Whoosh."

Jeno released Carol, and the woman fell to the ground, gasping for air.

The previously violent cosmic energy had left a black mark on the Vibranium battle armor.

"Not bad."

Jeno stared at Carol's body. Through his x-ray vision, he could clearly see that Carol's cells had erupted with a surge of violent cosmic energy, which then converged into her fists and was discharged.

"This!" Carol gasped for air, staring at her hands in disbelief.

Even she hadn't expected that beam of light.

"You are far stronger than you imagine, Carol." Jeno bent down, gentlemanly extending his hand to help Carol up.

"I never thought I could shoot lasers too!" Jin Fa Da NiuCarol didn't fully understand her abilities, only perceiving the energy beams shot from her hands as lasers.

To the successfully modified Carol, Jeno smiled: "Of course, you have infinite possibilities, Carol."

"Right now, you just need to master and familiarize yourself with this power. Afterward, you can definitely achieve even greater things with it."

Jeno patted Carol's shoulder: "Now, welcome to S.W.O.R.D."

Hm. The successfully modified Carol was fully qualified to join S.W.O.R.D. and become a part of it.

Looking at the excited Carol, Jeno smiled:

"The Seven and The Boys, you can choose whichever you like."

Listening to Jeno's invitation, Carol answered without thinking: "I choose to join The Seven."

As a die-hard fan of Homelander, Carol often followed news about S.W.O.R.D.

And she had also heard people talk about the differences between the two superhero teams.

The Seven were almost all women, while The Boys were all men.

This seemed to be a kind of unwritten rule, and Carol had no intention of breaking it.

Chapter 140: Two Women, One Play

S.W.O.R.D.

Jeno was not surprised by the woman's answer.

"A good choice." Jeno grinned, motioning for Carol to follow him.

"Currently, S.W.O.R.D. has three members."

"They are Peggy Carter, Natasha Romanoff, and RavenDarkholme."

"I know them." Carol rubbed her wrist.

When she was in the Air Force, she had read many newspaper articles about the abilities of Peggy and others.

The two took the elevator and quickly arrived on the seventh floor.

Stepping out of the elevator, Jeno led Carol into the office.

Claire was busy working at the large desk.

"Claire, where are Peggy and the others?" Jeno sat in his office, motioning for Carol to sit down.

"They just completed a mission to stop criminals from robbing a bank, and now they're on the second floor drinking coffee and resting." Claire looked at her boss with some helplessness.

Ever since she became Jeno's assistant, she had to deal with mountains of work every day.

But Jeno was as hands-off as ever.

"Stopping bank criminals?" Carol, who was beside them, was a little excited. Was the life of a Super Hero really that thrilling?

Her days as a pilot usually involved repetitive tasks like flying and training, day in and day out.

Jeno tapped on the desk: "Have them come up and see me."

Claire nodded, picked up the phone on the desk, and subtly glanced at Carol.

This woman was wearing Vibranium battle armor, and according to her observations, those who used Vibraniumbattle armor were either The Seven or The Boys.

Even the little girl Raven had a set of Vibranium battle armor.

"It seems this girl might be the next Super Hero," Clairethought to herself, then began contacting Peggy and the others.

Soon, there was a knock on the office door.

"Jeno, you called for us?"

Carter entered the office with Natasha, followed by a timid Raven.

As an Agent who had participated in many battles, Peggyimmediately noticed Carol in the room.

The Vibranium battle armor worn by this Jin Fa Da Niumade Peggy think of many things.

"She is?" Peggy asked with a faint smile, looking at Jeno.

Carol noticed Peggy's gaze, frowned, and looked back at Peggy. The woman stood up, crossed her arms, and smiled: "Carol Danvers, soon to be a member of The Seven."

The two women's eyes met. Perhaps it was a clash of temperaments; the straightforward Carol did not leave a good impression on Peggy.

And Peggy, looking at Carol, who was half a head taller than her, was equally displeased with Carol's presumptuous tone.

Whether it was a clash of auras or not, their first meeting was somewhat confrontational.

An invisible scent of gunpowder filled the air. Natasha, not one to shy away from a good show, watched the two with a playful look.

In her heart, she was even hoping Peggy and Carol would start fighting the next moment.

"Everyone, please sit." Jeno propped his chin, breaking the somewhat awkward atmosphere.

The man lazily looked at them.

He had, of course, noticed the conflict between Peggyand Carol.

But Jeno had no intention of interfering.

He wanted The Seven to become a powerful organization, and competition was necessary.

Only competition could promote the development of one's abilities.

Jeno twirled a pen in his hand and slowly said: "The reason I called you here is to inform the three of you that Carol Danvers will be joining The Seven, becoming one of you."

Hearing Jeno's words, Peggy and Natasha were not surprised, while Raven curiously peeked at the valiant Carol, wondering if this older sister would be easy to get along with.

Any small group is like this; there is always a period of adjustment when new members join, let alone an organization of superhumans.

Peggy immediately showed some displeasure, frowning and asking: "Jeno, but you said that a top team needs to go through a joint review by everyone."

"Of course, I'm not questioning your decision, but I believe one should earn the recognition of their teammates through their own strength."

Peggy glanced at Carol. Although she didn't know her background, Peggy didn't want a back-door entry into The Seven.

"Interesting." Jeno raised an eyebrow. It seemed that the work during this period had made Peggy a bit proud.

His gaze swept over Natasha and Raven, and Jeno said with a half-smile: "What do you think?"

"I, I don't know." Raven shook her head timidly, clearly not wanting to offend anyone.

"Hmm, I don't care."

Natasha cunningly replied: "Perhaps we could let them fight to prove themselves?"

"Fight?"

The two women exchanged glances, and the previously extinguished flames reignited.

"Want to try?" Jeno stared at the two.

"I have no objections." Carol clenched her fists, her eyes fixed on Peggy.

"Whoever wins will be Captain." Peggy's eyes flickered. If she won this battle, she could, of course, solidify her position as Captain.

But if she lost, there would be no need for her to be Captain.

"We'll go to the underground Base."

Peggy glanced at Carol.

Just as the two women were about to get up, Clairepicked up the phone and said: "Hmm? Someone's here?"

"Boss, Fury is here."

"Let him in." Jeno tapped on the desk.

The reason for summoning Fury was simple: Jenoplanned to use a "honey trap" to get to Priscilla.

Sorcerer Ancient One had previously mentioned a Planet-destroying crisis, and Jeno didn't think it was as simple as Skrulls infiltrating Earth as spies.

For example, the "Empire" that the Skrulls constantly talked about must have a complete conspiracy against Earth behind it.

And the previous male Skrull was just a small fry, completely unaware of the higher-ups' plans.

So, if he wanted to get more information, he had to extract it from Priscilla.

However, this woman was tight-lipped, and the only one she cared about was that little Nigger, Fury.

Therefore, Jeno's plan was also simple: release Fury to "seduce" Priscilla.

Soon, a bewildered Fury pushed open the S.W.O.R.D.office door.

Along the way, the little Nigger looked a little dejected. Compared to the elite-filled S.W.O.R.D., the Strategic Scientific Reserve was simply a backward small workshop.

However, Fury was more worried about his girlfriend's situation.

He never expected his girlfriend to be a Skrull.

A dazed Fury was awakened by Jeno's voice: "Fury, long time no see."

Fury came to his senses, his gaze sweeping over Peggyand the others. As an Agent, Fury keenly noticed the strange atmosphere in the room.

The little Nigger scratched his head and looked at Jenowith a smile: "General Jeno, long time no see."

"Fury, I called you here this time because I want you to contribute to the safety of Earth." Jeno stood up, immediately pouring out a righteous speech.

"Earth crisis?" Fury's expression changed. Could it be that Earth was in danger again?
