Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

I yelped in pain. I felt blood running down my snout, I winced. I looked behind me and saw a group of humans laughing at me.

"That was fucking sad queer boy!" one of them said.

"G-get away from me!" I said, I didn't know what would make them leave me alone.

"HEY!" I saw Sol step in-front of me. "Don't touch him! Don't you have better things to do?!"

I saw the humans talk with each-other. They started walking towards us.

Just then, something I never would have expected happened. A flame appeared on Sols' palm. Oh my gawd!!! Fire magic was some of the rarest magic, only a few hundred people had it!

The humans stepped back, pointing at Sol.

"HEY! What do you think you're doing?!" I heard someone shout behind me.

I saw a security guard sprinting towards us and then pressing a tazer to Sols' throat. He yelped and collapsed immediately.

"I tell these kids no magic at school, and this is what happens," the security guard mumbled.

"Hey!" I yelled. "Why did you do that, them over there assaulted me!"

"No magic in school, those are the rules," the guard answered.

I didn't give a shit what he had to say to me. I fell on my knees.

"No, no, no, what did he do to you?"

Sol wasn't moving, seemed to be knocked out by the tazer.

"Don't worry, he'll wake up eventually, it's just temporary," the guard said.

"Y-you had no right to do that!" I said.

The guard didn't seem to care.

"Get to class, you're going to be late!" said the guard.

I didn't want to leave Sol just lying there.

"I said get to class!" the security guard snapped.

(5 hours later)

(~Sol POV~)

I woke up with a splitting headache. Oh shit it hurt so badly. I looked down at my wrists and saw strange metal bands on my wrists.

"Those are magic-resistant bracelets", I saw who I presumed to be the school nurse telling me.

"What the hell are these for?!" I growled.

"You should know magic is banned on school premises, what you did could have caused a fire, very irresponsible,"

"Yeah, well they were attacking Kevo!"

I didn't care what she had to say now. I tried prying the bracelets off my wrists.

"You aren't to take those off, you could have caused a fire, like I said,"

"You can't do this to me, get these off me right now!!!" I was yelling now.

I tried to use my fire magic. A sharp pain shot across my body.

My magic was gone. At least while these magic resistant bracelets stayed on me.

I heard the bell ring. What time was it? I saw the clock on the wall said it was 2:00pm, which meant school was over. I quickly left the room.

(~Kevo POV~)

While leaving my 7th period class, I spotted Sol.

"Hey, Sol what happened? Are you ok?" I asked.

He sighed. "They put these magic resistant bracelets on me, I can't take them off or use my magic because its banned-on school grounds."

I could not believe it. That was so unfair since there were only 10 people at school that I knew of who even had any magical abilities.

When I got home, I immediately went to take a nap. I hadn't slept in 24 hours and was so tired at this point. I fell asleep instantly.
