The playground lay empty, the air heavy with tension.
Fumiya stood before Takumi, eyes gleaming with amusement. "I heard you took down Shido. Impressive. But if you were really that strong, you would've blocked my kick earlier."
Takumi's voice was even, controlled. "What's your deal?"
"My deal?" Fumiya laughed, pulling out his phone. "No deal. I'll let you off this time."
He snapped a picture of Takumi, the click of the camera deliberate and mocking. Then, with a sinister smirk, he brushed past him and left.
Takumi narrowed his eyes, unsettled. Why call me here just for that?
