Jesse is lying on the couch, looking up at the ceiling. Satoshi walks into the room and notices Jesse. "Aren't you like the King of some nation. Shouldn't you eventually check on that, and possibly give me all your wine?" Satoshi says, obviously, only caring about the wine.
"I'm not giving you any wine, but maybe I should go check up on Yehn Poh. Got to make sure the nobles aren't trying to overthrow me again to put an evil religion in charge," Jesse says. He jumps up and lands on a plushie. "I should give this to Dai'chi," Jesse says. He throws it up into the hallway. "DAI'CHI, OUTSIDE YOUR ROOM, THINK FAST," Jesse yells. As the plushie lands in the hallway, the whole area explodes.
"Can I go with you to Yehn Poh with no ulterior motives at all?" Satoshi says to Jesse. Jesse hesitantly agrees to let him go, questioning whether it's a good idea or not. Satoshi ties a piece of sharpened black steel to his wrist.
"Don't do anything stupid, as you always do, Satoshi," Iori says, annoyed. Dai'chi walks into the room after finishing off the plushie. He hears what they are talking about.
"Do you mind if I come along? I won't do anything crazy, I promise." Dai'chi says to Jesse. Jesse slowly turns his head and looks at Dai'chi. Jesse says no, while looking at Dai'chi like he asked the stupidest question ever. "Why," Dai'chi asks.
"I don't feel safe bringing you and Satoshi, TOGETHER. ANYWHERE. Especially not somewhere that I am in control of," Jesse says. He continues looking at Dai'chi like he is staring at a maniac.
"Now that you mention it…" Dai'chi thinks for a moment. "Yeah, I think I get what you mean. Bye then." Dai'chi leaves and goes back to the room he found. The door of the room is still on the ground after blowing up the hallway. Dai'chi picks up the door and sets it up where the door frame should be. "Good enough," he says. Jesse and Satoshi leave the base.
Jesse and Satoshi walk down a dirt road through a forest. They get to a fork in the road, and Jesse sees a sign. He walks up to it and starts reading it. "Second capital of Yehn Poh, Wotilva. 1 kilometer. Looks like we need to go left here." They go down the left trail. "I'm back, sure has been a while. I wonder how many centuries it has been this time. It's probably been around 5 or 6 centuries."
"Wow, that is a long time. The only time I remember spending that much time away from something is," Satoshi pauses for a moment. He gulps as a shiver goes down his entire body. "Her." They continue walking until they hear shuffling in the bushes.
"Maybe they are going to try to kill me. They should be used to me disappearing for long periods of time," Jesse says. Someone jumps out at Jesse, holding a dagger. They raise it above their head.
"DIE, ONCE YOU'RE DEAD, TAKING THIS KINGDOM WILL BE EASY!" The person says. They push off the ground one more time as they charge in. They go to swing their dagger down. Satoshi turns towards the person and backhands them. They go flying into a tree. They cough up blood as they make contact and stop.
"Did you really think someone like you could pull this off, you weak, pathetic piece of shit?" Satoshi says to the assassin. He slowly lowers his hand, looking down on the assassin as if he were nothing more than a mere ant in comparison. The assassin grins
"I'm just a pawn, they will send more that will definitely kill you," The assassin says. Jesse grabs the assassin by the neck. He slowly lifts the assassin and holds him there. The assassin continues to grin.
"I see, so you are with the Church of the Supreme. It seems you guys have been slowly taking over Salence, and now you guys are trying to take over Yehn Poh. You're getting a bit too cocky now," Jesse says. His eyes turn to a dark shade of red. His pupils mutate into skulls
His grin shrinks before fully disappearing. His eyes widen. "How, how do you know that, even if you can read minds, I should have a spell blocking it?" The assassin says.
"It's quite simple, I analyzed your body's genetic makeup. After that, I corrupted the flow of mana to you're brain so it would resist the mind-reading resistance. After that, it was just like reading an open book," Jesse says. He throws the assassin at Satoshi. "You can kill him."
Satoshi's face grows into a wide grin. Satoshi slowly starts squeezing the assassin's head. The assassin flails around, trying to wiggle free, but to no avail. Slowly, blood begins to flow out of the assassin's eyes and ears. They try to hit Satoshi's arm, but it has no effect. They grab onto Satoshi's arm one last time before their eyes pop out, and they fall limp. Satoshi drops the body back down on the ground. They turn around on the path.
"It seems like we are going to have to make a quick stop first."
