Is Aria in trouble?
I continued to stare at the wall, wondering. I couldn't come up with anything except thinking back to the first time I met with her, dangling off the trap.
The dead guards from the nightfall pack. Was it possible that the killers were searching for Aria and had killed the guards instead as a warning? But then, why would they want Aria?
As far as I was concerned, the symbol, if at all, was from the old cult nemesis; they only enforce justice. What could Aria have done to make them want to capture her?
"Can you think of anything that might be happening?" Elias asked me, and I shook my head.
"I want to believe it has everything to do with the death toll this day." He said, turning to the deltas that had appeared. Imogen was a part of them. "Clean this up and control the members. The Alpha shall address them later. We don't want them speculating things."
I snorted. They were already speculating. My ears perked up as I picked up some of their hushed words.
