Atlas pushed away from the door, coming closer. "We met you there."
By 'we', I want to believe he was talking about him and Elias. I had assumed they abducted me. But I guessed they never did. Someone else might have done it. But still, I couldn't understand how they met me in the woods. Perhaps my kidnappers had taken me there.
Atlas's brows knitted together. "It doesn't seem like anyone might have taken you there."
"How can you be so sure?" I retorted. It wasn't as if he was there. I was the one who had been hit. I was the one who had been forcefully captured.
"Because your clothes were ripped. There was no sign of abuse. I did check…" Atlas paused, his eyes lingering. My cheeks turned pink, and I grimaced, looking away from him.
I didn't want to ask or even guess how he might have checked. But yeah, he had seen me naked, and that didn't even make me feel any better.
