ARIA
No way in hell!
I clasped Cassie's hand, doing the only thing my brain could come up with. I ran. Yes, that was a stupid idea. Running in human form while some shitty intelligent bots were after your ass, totally stupid.
However, it was worth the trial, and I couldn't afford to be disqualified after coming so far for this. And the good thing was, Cassie didn't try to stop me.
Luckily, the air was cleaner in some parts of the forest, and everything was more visible. We could easily navigate our way without running aimlessly.
Our boots pounded on the frozen forest floor, and we jumped over wooden logs that lay like a trap on the way.
Cassie grunted. "Wait…Aria—"
"What…" I couldn't finish my sentence as Cassie's grip jerked hard. She tripped forward, and before I knew it, she'd pulled me down with her.
