Chapter 64 - Fated mate

I paced the room, stopping for a brief second to stare at Aria's unmoving body on the bed, and resumed. Imogen said she was fine and had only suffered a blow to the head, perhaps from hitting something hard. Hence, her head was wrapped in a bandage to reduce the swelling.

However, I couldn't understand why she wasn't coming awake even though she was 'fine.'

A knock sounded on the door, and Elias stepped into the room. He paused, frowning as he stood on the threshold.

"Really?" He murmured, shutting the door behind him. "Is this necessary?" He nodded towards Aria.

"It is necessary," I stressed out. "I need to be aware of all her movements."

That was the reason I had moved back to my room, where I could watch everything she did without wondering if she was in danger or not. But it seemed that wasn't enough.

"Typing her to the bed? You're taking her fundamental right to autonomy and personhood!"
