After the last session of healing, it has been a week since Leng Xue left her room. As the strongest cultivator in Leng Clan, Leng Xue always faced the worst backlashes after she healed someone. After this particular incident, she was in pain, vomiting blood every 10 minutes, her whole body was on fire. She was sweating profusely. One of the maids were wiping her sweat using a wet cloth. Another maid slowly brought her medicine to subdue her condition.
"Xue Xiaojie, please take your medicine. You will feel better after." The maid said to Leng Xue. Everyone of them loved her as their own elder/younger sister as she was so loving and caring towards everyone. Unless she loses her temper due to her frequent headaches ar when she was on worse conditions like this.
Leng Xue was so weakened, she could only whimper as the maid fed her medicine. the medicine was made for improving her blood flaw, to remove the bad blood out of her as quickly as possible. this made her body to heat more. She let out a scream of agony, her power erupting from her fingertips, and her whole body, knocking out not only herself but also, every single person who was within the perimeter of her residence including, the garden.
One guard was able to escape the explosion, not unscathed. He was able to get in to the main house of the Leng Clan, and reported the matter to the Leng Xue's parents, before falling unconscious due to the pain.
They have been searching for a solution for her condition for a long time. Recently, a monk has told them, only a cultivation partner with a grounding ability can help her to at least reduce the pain she was constantly feeling.
That was how, she come to be wed to the youngest of Wen family, Wen Jiao. Wen family was a noble family with limited cultivation abilities. Wen family was famous for their strategic pursuits and was the top advisors to the royal family.
