ARIA
My eyes flew open, and I jolted abruptly from where I lay. The first person my eyes landed on was my grandfather. His face was close to mine. He had taken a step backward after I came awake.
My lips parted, heart thumping so loud while I stared around. I was in my room. Only my grandfather and Lance were here. But the woman from before? She wasn't.

"What happened to me?" I asked again as no one said a thing.
"You passed out," Lance answered, pushing away from the wall he leaned against.
I rolled my eyes despite my state of confusion. It was obvious. I recalled going unconscious. So, that wasn't what I was asking, and not really what I wanted to hear either. Lance shrugged, and I turned to Grandfather.
He was the one who was with me. He was the only one who could tell me what had occurred and even what had gone wrong.
"That woman…"
