Chapter 46 - A Mad Dog Unleashed

Outside the cinema, Bai Ye couldn't help but shudder under Camilla's gaze, as if he were being watched by a predator.

What's gotten into her? Bai Ye frowned slightly, his body instinctively shielding Gwen.

"Bai Ye, what's wrong?" Gwen, noticing Bai Ye's actions, looked up in confusion, only to see a serious expression on his face.

"I don't know. Go inside the cinema first; it might be dangerous here," Bai Ye said in a low voice, sensing something was off about Camilla's current state.

"Oh!" Gwen looked thoughtfully at the beautiful woman staring at them in the distance, her mind filled with countless speculations, but she obediently went into the cinema.

This physique... it must be converted into a Bloodline! The Dimensional Demon God's gaze passed through Camilla's eyes and landed on Bai Ye, filled with astonishment.

In her observation, Bai Ye was like a human-shaped sun walking in the night, his power unremarkable, but the immortality brought by his 2.8 physique and his talent, thousands of times greater than ordinary people, made her take notice.

If this heaven-defying talent is converted into a Bloodline, and with my careful cultivation, he will undoubtedly become a combatant comparable to my level within hundreds of thousands of years.

Looking at the extremely conspicuous man in her sight, the Blood God's greed was almost impossible to suppress. She had only come down on a whim to take a look, but unexpectedly, she'd found a walking feast.

Even though she was very tempted by Bai Ye's body, she knew a small cart couldn't pull a big horse.

Even if she could control the bodies of her Bloodline descendants, Camilla's constitution was absolutely no match for the man in front of her, so she decided to call for backup.

Watching Bai Ye, who was approaching with vigilance and killing intent, the Blood God quickly severed her connection with Camilla to avoid alerting him.

The next moment, Camilla's consciousness regained control of her body and she saw Bai Ye was already holding her up by the neck.

"What's wrong with you?" Camilla was baffled. How had Bai Ye come and grab her after just spacing out for a moment?

"Don't you know what you were doing just now?" Bai Ye questioned, looking at the bewildered woman. Could vampires also have some kind of split personality?

"Just now? I seemed to feel the Blood God's arrival," Camilla pondered.

The thunderclap that had just echoed through downtown New York City made her Bloodline stir. Then, she realized Bai Ye had grabbed her.

"The Blood God..." Bai Ye sighed. As soon as that thing was mentioned, he knew what part of the Blade movie they were at.

But was this scene even in the original plot? Or had the story broken down due to the merging of multiple worldviews?

Several people on the surrounding streets were now looking over with curious expressions.

Bai Ye hesitated, then let go of her, explaining, "You were acting like you were possessed just now. Something's not right. Wait for me here. We'll go back later."

"Aren't you going to watch the movie?"

"In this situation? Forget the movie. Whatever it is, we'll deal with it tonight." Bai Ye turned and walked into the cinema.

At the heart of New York City, a multitude of vampires were turning to ash under the army's onslaught.

Inside a building, Diken raised his hands, feeling the immense power surging through him.

The bloodline, exchanged for the lives of twelve Purebloods, had transformed his blood, making him a Progenitor of a new vampire branch.

"Diken, has the ritual succeeded?" a Bloodline member anxiously asked. "The human army is at the door. If nothing changes, we'll all be killed here."

"Of course, it has."

Diken's lips curled into a grin. He glanced at each Pureblood present, then, with a subtle movement, vanished in a blur, rushing out of the stone door.

He planned to deal with the human army outside and then convert every Pureblood present into his own power.

Outside the door, as the first wave of troops advanced, just before they could enter, an invisible figure flashed past.

The figure instantly bypassed the layers of mist infused with garlic and ultraviolet light.

On both sides of the moving trajectory, the heads of hundreds of American soldiers shot up into the sky in an instant, and surging blood mist instantly filled the passage, bringing with it a nauseating, strong stench.

"What happened? Who did this?"

"Damn Mutants, this is definitely a Mutant conspiracy!"

"Everyone, be on alert! Everyone, be on alert!"

The scene, with losses exceeding dozens of times the previous count, and the unseen enemy, threw the entire American military into a state of utter chaos.

Because the incident happened so suddenly, and with over a hundred people lost instantly despite the area being thoroughly prepared, no one thought the attackers were vampires. They assumed it was a Mutant attack.

At this moment, a wild laugh came from above the crowd, and everyone looked in the direction of the sound. Diken was standing on a giant rock.

After taking an intoxicated breath of the thick smell of blood in the air, his pupils and the whites of his eyes were completely covered in blood. He looked down at the American soldiers present with arrogance.

Lightly jumping down from the giant rock, Diken had originally wanted to give a victory speech, but the panicked army didn't give him a chance to speak. The silver bullets in their hands instantly aimed at Diken, and a barrage of bullets swept over him.

"Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang!"

In an instant, guns and cannons roared, and a massive amount of bullets, after struggling to pierce Diken's tough skin, were firmly caught by his muscles, unable to advance further.

Without any intention of resisting, Diken allowed the silver bullets to damage every inch of his skin.

The entire barrage lasted for more than ten seconds.

When he felt it was enough, Diken, whose body was densely embedded with bullets, raised his hands. Every inch of his muscles exerted force, and a powerful force instantly squeezed the bullets out of his skin.

Amidst the terrified gazes of numerous American soldiers, hundreds of bullets were fired back at a speed not inferior to their initial velocity, directly piercing their bodies.

Diken still stood in place, his crimson blood flowing silently, covering every bullet crater on his body, and instantly returning to its original state.

Just as he bared his fangs, preparing to slaughter everyone present, his gaze couldn't help but drift towards the east.

Although there was only a plain white wall in front of him, a powerful attraction emanated from that direction.

As if someone was telling him in his heart that he absolutely had to turn a man in that direction into a vampire, even if it meant dying.

And the very next second after this thought arose in his mind, the ground gently trembled.

To his bewildered gaze, the remaining thousands of vampires had already swarmed out of the stone gate, surging towards the east.

"What are you doing, are you crazy?"

Diken roared, enduring the intense desire in his heart, feeling for the first time that things were beyond his control.
