Boom! Boom! Boom!
Within New York City, the muffled sounds of explosions, like cannon fire, echoed through the streets.
Countless Vampires roared as they charged towards Bai Ye, but to him, they were far too slow.
Looking at the mass of figures before him, Bai Ye wasted no words. He threw a punch, striking a Vampire's head.
With blood mist exploding everywhere, the leading Vampire's skull burst open instantly.
Shattered skull fragments flew in all directions, and the force, like a high-pressure water cannon, sent the blood clan members in front of him flying.
He casually grabbed a Vampire's wrist behind him, clenched it, and swung it around.
The terrifying momentum tore through the vampire's arm with ease, sending the body flying and knocking down a large group.
Before the vampires behind him could react, Bai Ye tensed his muscles and leaped lightly.
With a burst of blood, Bai Ye's body, harder than steel, smashed through over a dozen vampire bodies, arriving at another part of the battlefield.
Although these vampires possessed considerable self-healing abilities, they couldn't withstand having their heads blown into pulp or their hearts crushed into meat patties.
Even without any special weapons, Bai Ye, relying on his iron fists, which were three times harder than steel, was causing vampires to die in pieces.
This unrestrained slaughter wasn't even as intense as his usual training. On average, it only took one punch to kill a vampire. It wouldn't take three thousand punches to wipe them all out.
If I keep fighting like this, will I have to pay for the damage afterward? Bai Ye quipped to himself during the fight.
While fighting, he also observed the vampires' expressions. He found that these guys were completely devoid of reason, showing no sign of retreat even after their comrades died, only a desire to attack him.
After casually cleaving a Vampire in two, Bai Ye kicked another Vampire's head, exploding it. He asked, "How about we talk? Why are you targeting me?"
With a wave of his hand, he decapitated another Vampire. Bai Ye continued, "You can state your demands. If we keep fighting, I'll kill you all."
During the battle, body after body, either headless or heartless, were flung about like ragdolls by Bai Ye, before falling limply to the ground.
At S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury watched this scene through the monitors, and couldn't help but be astonished. The combat speed of the man in front of him was difficult to capture, even for the surveillance.
"Director, do we still need to notify Professor X to clean up the mess?" Coulson asked from the side.
"No, it's not necessary now." Nick Fury stared intently at the figure in the monitor, muttering to himself: "Is this guy a mutant? Or a superhuman?"
In his assessment, Bai Ye's individual attributes in battle, whether it was strength, speed, or defense, didn't seem particularly strong.
But the terrifying thing was that he had no weaknesses. His physical attributes were like a perfect all-rounder, even more threatening than some Level Four mutants.
Even a Level 5 mutant, for the most part, only has one outstanding trait. Without any defense, they could still be killed by a bullet.
"Have we found his information?" Nick Fury looked at Coulson.
"Director, according to the data investigation, this young man is called Bai Ye, a Chinese-American. He currently attends Midtown High School in New York. His past isn't very clean; he was involved with the underworld. There are seven or eight robbery cases that can reasonably be suspected to be related to him."
Under S.H.I.E.L.D.'s powerful investigative capabilities, Bai Ye's information was quickly dug up.
Coulson frowned as he looked at Bai Ye's file on the computer, "It can be confirmed that this young man has a very strong criminal tendency... no, he has already committed crimes. I personally don't recommend recruiting him."
Nick Fury, with a blank expression, flipped through the files in front of him and said, "First, seal all his information. Only agents above Level 9 are allowed to access it."
Coulson paused, then quietly replied, "Yes," and proceeded to seal all of Bai Ye's files.
Looking at Bai Ye, who was slaughtering everything in the surveillance footage, Nick Fury gently tapped on the desk in front of him, his mind filled with thoughts.
After a long time, he said, "How about this, you have the agents take a team of reporters to interview them, guide the narrative a bit, and don't let public opinion run wild. I'll ask the higher-ups for their stance."
Coulson nodded, indicating he understood.
That night, not just S.H.I.E.L.D., but countless other factions were watching this place.
At Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, a bald man in a wheelchair was directly locking onto this area with his powerful psychic abilities.
And in a base on the outskirts of New York State, an old man wearing a metal helmet was watching the figures fighting on the screen with an appreciative expression.
Five minutes later, Bai Ye stood there expressionlessly. The air was filled with a thick smell of blood, and blood had dyed every inch of the surrounding ground red. Only his body remained spotless.
The powerful air currents caused by his body breaking through the air automatically reversed most of the blood flow.
The remaining blood was isolated by the internal energy of the Seventy Years Purple Cloud Divine Skill surging within his body. No blood could even get close to his body.
Under the enhancement of the internal energy, Bai Ye's outer clothes didn't even show any damage, still appearing as the original white robes.
Looking at the blood-soaked streets and the furtive glances of the people hiding, Bai Ye gently crushed the last vampire's head in his hand and turned to leave.
He knew that after tonight, he would be facing a storm of public opinion.
But just as he lifted his foot, a jeep blocked his path. The door opened, and an old man in military uniform got out.
"What's the matter?" Bai Ye asked.
As he spoke, he noticed the nameplate on the old man's uniform: Thaddeus E. Ross, the officer from the movies who relentlessly pursued the Hulk.
"Kid, you've done me a huge favor. You can come to me for anything you need in the future," Ross said to Bai Ye with a serious expression.
Indeed, the army's losses were manageable, but if those thousands of vampires had spread throughout the city and caused massive casualties, he would have had to resign immediately.
After saying this, Ross handed over his business card and said, "Call this number if you need anything."
"Uh..." Bai Ye was speechless as he took the business card, he had thought they were here to cause trouble.
Seeing Bai Ye accept the card, Ross waved his hand, "I won't bother you anymore. Remember to perform well in front of the media. I'll treat you to dinner this weekend."
"Media?" Bai Ye wondered, and the sound of numerous cars approaching filled his ears. As these vehicles stopped in front of him, countless microphones were thrust directly towards him.
