Chapter 74 - The Prince's Revenge

Arbitrator Tower · Top Floor Conference Room

A holographic projection unfolded on the conference table, with dozens of red dots flickering across the global map, each representing an abnormal activity of a Dimension Demon God cultist. Chen Tian stood before the projection, hands resting on the table's edge, his brows tightly furrowed.

"In the past 72 hours, the frequency of cultist activities has decreased by nearly 80%," 2B said, holding a tactical tablet. "Since the East Capital incident and the appearance of the 'Twin Dragons' at Kamar-Taj, they have gone deeper into hiding."

Tony Stark leaned back in his chair, fingers tapping the tabletop, the light from the holographic projection illuminating his tired face: "From now on, the operations to eliminate the cultists will be your responsibility, kid. The 'Watcher Platform' and 'Friday' projects have me tied up."

"No problem, but," Chen Tian straightened up, a teasing smile on his face, "Tony Stark, you need to get some good rest. You've been working intensely for nearly 72 hours. Ethan even came to complain to me. I bet he's asking Pepper to return to Stark Industries again now."

"I have no choice. Currently, Jarvis's computing power can barely maintain our system. After the Watcher Platform goes live, we'll need a dedicated AI to manage it," Tony Stark rubbed his temples. "And Friday's underlying architecture still needs optimization, firstly to avoid overloading under high-intensity computation, and secondly to prevent the kind of situation you mentioned before."

Chen Tian nodded: "Alright, then, you take care of yourself. After all, a healthy body is the foundation of revolution."

Tony Stark raised an eyebrow: "Ha, well said. Was that from a great person from Dragon Country?"

"Yes, a great leader," Chen Tian smiled. "Speaking of which, Tony Stark, if you're really too busy, I could recommend a very capable scientist to you."

"Very capable? Is there anyone more capable than the genius Tony Stark?" Tony Stark lifted his chin smugly.

"Yes, yes, yes, you are the most capable," Chen Tian coaxed Tony Stark like one would a child. "But she's not bad either, especially her country's technology. Perhaps it could upgrade a lot of our equipment."

Tony Stark became interested, "She? Not He? A woman?"

Chen Tian nodded, swiping his right hand across the holographic projection. The projection changed to the continent where Haji Black ancestors lived, then with a few taps, a country's map was magnified.

"Africa? Wakanda? Isn't that just an agricultural country?" Tony Stark was a little surprised.

"That's just what they show to others. Their technological level is very high, emmmm, it can be said to be the most technologically advanced country in the entire World, because among their specialties, there is Vibranium," Chen Tian replied.

Tony Stark suddenly sprang from his chair, "Wait, wait… What did you say? Vibranium?" He gestured exaggeratedly, "The kind Captain America's small round shield uses?"

Chen Tian unhurriedly rotated the holographic projection in his hand. The three-dimensional map of Wakanda slowly spun on the conference table: "To correct you, it's not 'that kind,' but a pure, native Vibranium ore deposit."

He tapped his fingertip, and the projection immediately showed a pulsating purple vein deep underground. "According to intelligence, Wakanda has over ten thousand tons of Vibranium reserves buried underground."

"Ten thousand tons?!" Tony Stark's voice nearly cracked. "Damn it, those primitives dancing in grass skirts actually possess such a treasure?!"

He didn't quite believe it, "This doesn't make sense. If there was really that much Vibranium, Wakanda would have long since—"

"—been torn to shreds by HYDRA, S.H.I.E.L.D., and various governments?" Chen Tian finished his sentence. "That's also why they chose to masquerade as an agricultural country."

Tony Stark's expression turned dangerous and excited: "Jarvis, immediately retrieve all satellite images of Wakanda. Re-analyze them using quantum scan mode."

"Already processing, Sir," the AI's response came from the ceiling. "But there's a problem… our satellites can't capture clear images within Wakanda's borders."

Chen Tian and 2B exchanged a glance. 2B calmly explained: "Wakanda possesses holographic camouflage field technology. All external observations are projections modified by algorithms."

"Then how do you know?" Tony Stark asked, puzzled.

Chen Tian's finger lightly swiped across the holographic projection, and the screen switched to a file clearly marked with the name 'Erik Stevens', beside which was a photo of a stern-looking Black man with ambition and coldness in his eyes.

"This Haji Black with a stylish haircut was once a royal of Wakanda," Chen Tian pointed at the photo. "His father was King T'Chaka's younger brother, Prince N'Jobu."

Tony Stark narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing the photo: "So? Royal infighting?"

Chen Tian shook his head, "It's even more melodramatic." He pulled up N'Jobu's photo. "N'Jobu was sent to the United States on a spy mission to monitor international threats to Wakanda."

"However, love makes people blind. N'Jobu fell in love with a woman during his undercover period and had Erik Stevens," Chen Tian looked at Tony Stark, spreading his hands. "Precisely because of this, N'Jobu violated Wakanda's national policy of prohibiting contact with the outside World, and both father and son were exiled for a long time."

"Holy cow," Tony Stark's mouth agape in disbelief. "Wait a minute… Are you saying these guys, sitting on ten thousand tons of Vibranium and decades ahead in technology, actually exiled a prince just because he fell in love with a foreign woman?"

He rolled his eyes, "That's more archaic than the medieval Catholic Church!"

Chen Tian chuckled lightly, "The best part is yet to come. After N'Jobu witnessed the oppression of Haji Black people globally, he tried to change the situation through force. He secretly contacted the arms dealer Ulysses Klaue, leaked Wakanda's Vibranium intelligence, and helped him steal 0.25 tons of Vibranium, intending to manufacture weapons to support the oppressed groups."

As he spoke, he projected Ulysses Klaue's photo, showing his wide grin and gold teeth, onto the screen.

Tony Stark became more and more interested, slumping onto the sofa and pulling out a small blueberry snack from his pocket, "Ha, our Prince N'Jobu is actually a liberation fighter. This story is truly exciting. What happened next?"

Chen Tian also sat on the sofa, snatching his blueberry snack, "The result? The result was that the arms dealer didn't play fair. Ulysses Klaue detonated border bombs during the Vibranium theft, causing casualties among Wakandan military and civilians, which enraged the royal family."

As he spoke, he gave Tony Stark a meaningful look.

Tony Stark snatched his snack back, "Hey! What kind of look is that? Stark Industries hasn't sold weapons in a long time, alright?" After saying that, he popped a small snack into his mouth, then offered one to Chen Tian, "I'll let you have one. No, have two."

Chen Tian shrugged, took a small snack, and continued: "And the Wakandan royal family's fury naturally sought out the culprit. So N'Jobu's espionage was exposed by Zuri, another Wakandan undercover agent. King T'Chaka personally went to the United States to arrest N'Jobu. During their dispute, N'Jobu tried to shoot Zuri but was accidentally killed by T'Chaka."

Chen Tian chuckled at this point, "And all of this was witnessed by Stevens. King T'Chaka did not bury his brother's body, only took Zuri, and abandoned young Erik Stevens in the United States."

"N'Jobu's death became the root of Erik Stevens' lifelong hatred. He witnessed his father being abandoned by the royal family and then killed since he was young. So this brilliant student, who graduated from Annapolis at 19 and later earned master's and doctoral degrees from MIT, joined the U.S. special forces and participated in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. He was called 'Killmonger' for his murderous actions."

Tony Stark slapped his thigh, scattering blueberry snacks everywhere: "Holy cow! Isn't this the Africa version of 'Hamlet'?" He waved his arms exaggeratedly, "The exiled prince, the revenge for his father's death, the grand plan for revenge—all that's missing is a ghost wandering in the castle!"

Chen Tian laughed heartily, "Yes, this is Shakespeare's grand stage play, the Haji Black version."

Tony Stark took a deep breath and sat back down, "So, what does that have to do with what we were talking about earlier?"

Chen Tian pulled up two more photos, of a young Black man and woman.

"Nothing, I'm just telling you how I knew Wakanda was a high-tech country, but," Chen Tian pointed to the man and woman in the photos, "these two folks are the ones relevant to us."

"Prince T'Challa, the current heir to Wakanda," Chen Tian pointed to the Black man. "A Doctor of Political Science from Oxford University, fluent in seven languages, and extremely skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Unlike his father, he has an open-minded personality and is very willing to accept new things."

"Princess Su Rui, Prince T'Challa's half-sister," Chen Tian winked at Tony Stark, "This is the new helper I've prepared for you."

"Her? She looks like she's only a teenager," Tony Stark said with some disdain.

"Tony Stark, don't judge others' abilities by their age. Just like you, you designed circuit boards at 4, built a V8 motorcycle engine at 6, and graduated from MIT's electrical engineering department at 17, earning dual master's degrees in physics and engineering," Chen Tian said helplessly to Tony Stark.

Tony Stark, hearing about his brilliant genius career, pointed at Chen Tian triumphantly, "Kid, I'm very happy you know my resume so well. Tonight, Uncle Tony is going to fill your arcade with all the figures and games you love."

Chen Tian pouted, showing a 'I can't do anything with you' expression: "Thank you, Uncle Tony." He deliberately drew out the last word, then quickly became serious: "Su Rui is a genius. She was born in '93, making her 20 now. But when she was eleven, she hacked into the core computer of the Pentagon and left behind…"

Chen Tian waved his hand, and the text appeared: "Black Panther Girl, was here."

"Wait, what did you say?" Tony Stark suddenly stood up. "That 'Black Panther Girl' hacker who paralyzed the Pentagon's network for three days in 2004 was her?"

Chen Tian nodded, "Not only that, she is now also the Director of Wakanda's Technology Bureau. Half of the civilian technology currently used in Wakanda comes from her, and she has also updated all of the Wakandan army's equipment."

Tony Stark's expression froze from shock to excitement: "I want to meet this genius! Immediately! Right now!"

Chen Tian waved his hand, his expression no longer so serious, but rather… deep.

"No rush."

"What do you mean, no rush?" Tony Stark asked, puzzled.

"Because the current ruler of Wakanda is still T'Chaka, that old stubborn man. He never cooperates with outsiders, not even the Arbitrators."

Chen Tian shrugged, "This old guy is extremely feudal and stubborn, so even if we cooperate with him, our cooperation could be interrupted at any time due to his going back on his word. So…"

Chen Tian looked at Erik Stevens, "They need a coup to bring the open-minded T'Challa to power, and Erik Stevens's revenge will be the fuse."

"Shit!" Tony Stark yelled, "You're doing it again? Last time you said the same thing, S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Council were gone, and the Washington District was almost destroyed, kid! What else are you plotting behind this?!"

Chen Tian smiled and waved his hand, "No, no, this time it's purely letting them fight among themselves, and we'll show up at the right time. Although I quite like Erik Stevens, his ideas are very extreme. He wants to use Wakandan technology to dominate the World, which goes against the Arbitrators' core principle."

"Damn it," Tony Stark heard Chen Tian's words, somewhat disbelieving, "You'd better be. This time is different from last time. Wakanda is a country!"

"I know, I know, I really don't have any ideas about the country of Wakanda. I just want to ensure the Arbitrators have enough allies," Chen Tian said helplessly. This time, he really hadn't planned anything.

"However, you could try to make contact with Prince T'Challa, perhaps arrange an accidental encounter?"

Tony Stark irritably ran his hand through his hair, "Damn it, you want me to be a political broker? I'm an engineer!" He suddenly paused, looking suspiciously at Chen Tian, "Wait… You wouldn't have even T'Challa's itinerary…"

2B silently brought up a holographic projection. In the image, T'Challa stood in front of the British Museum's African exhibit, with members of his royal guard disguised as tourists beside him. The top right corner of the projection displayed real-time weather information: 'London, cloudy, 6℃'.

"Coincidentally," Chen Tian revealed a harmless smile, "Tomorrow at ten AM, Prince T'Challa will be visiting the Imperial College London Quantum Physics Laboratory—the one you donated to."

Tony Stark's eyes widened: "You even factored my charity project into your calculations?!"

"This is called strategic planning," Chen Tian tapped the table. The tabletop opened, and a gilded invitation rose from within. "Coincidentally, the academy is awarding you the 'Outstanding Scientist of the Century' medal tomorrow."

Tony Stark stared at his own portrait on the invitation: "I refused that award ten years ago!"

"So they learned their lesson this time," Chen Tian winked, "They're setting up the awards stage right at the laboratory entrance."

As he spoke, he tucked the invitation into Tony Stark's chest pocket, then patted it, "Go on, Tony Stark. As the socialite of the Arbitrators, you can't lose your composure."

"Alright, alright," Tony Stark helplessly pulled out the invitation and glanced at it, "They printed my portrait really ugly. What about you?"

Chen Tian sighed, "Me? Of course, I have to go eliminate the remnants of the Dimension Demon God cultists."
