Chapter 75 - Shakespeare's Play in Heizhou is about to be performed

Night · A certain abandoned factory in the Capital

Inside the dark factory building, over a dozen black-robed cultists formed a circle. The ground in the center was covered with strange runes, emitting a faint green glow. The air was filled with a decaying scent, as if some ancient existence was peering into this World through a dimensional rift.

"The ritual is about to be completed…" The lead cultist chanted in a low voice, "Great Dormammu, please grant us strength…"

"Excuse me, may I interrupt?"

A playful voice suddenly came from the shadows.

The cultists abruptly looked up, only to see Chen Tian slowly emerge from the darkness. He wore a Nuo mask on his face, his tone was light, but his eyes were chillingly cold.

"Who are you?!" The cultist leader took a step back in shock, "Impossible, I clearly used the Dark God's…"

"Shielding array?" Chen Tian tilted his head, "Is that the one made from a pile of chicken bones put together to resemble overalls?"

Before he finished speaking, his figure suddenly vanished. The next second, he appeared in front of the cultist leader, his right hand gripping the other's throat, lifting him entirely off the ground.

"You insects always like to hide in dark corners…" Chen Tian's voice was disdainful, "Too bad, what I'm best at is—"

"Pest control."

"Crack."

The crisp sound of bones breaking was particularly jarring in the silent factory building.

The remaining cultists retreated in terror. Some tremblingly raised their weapons, but before they could react, a soft laugh echoed, and bullets flew from the shadows in all directions.

In a mere few seconds, only corpses and fresh blood remained in the factory building.

A boneless body once again clung to Chen Tian's back. Bayonetta's charming voice whispered in Chen Tian's ear, "Next target?"

"There are no new targets currently. Vergil has eliminated the target in the Golden Triangle jungle. Logan and Erik have dealt with the targets in Colombia. Melina and Red Room Agents are currently engaging targets in the Eastern Europe region, and the battle is expected to conclude completely in two minutes." Miss 2B's voice sounded from Chen Tian's earpiece, "Master, Melina is asking if we need to keep anyone alive for interrogation?"

"No need." Chen Tian stepped into the darkness, "Leave no one."

Daytime · Arbitrator Tower · Press Conference

Flashlights continuously flickered. Chen Tian stood on the podium with a gentle smile on his face. Behind him was the Arbitrators' emblem—a sharp sword suspended above the Blue Star.

"Everyone, please rest assured." His voice carried immense power, "The Arbitrators Alliance will ensure the safety of every city. We will never allow those cultists to endanger the public's safety."

As he spoke, he waved his hand, and a holographic projection behind him displayed documents of the captured or eliminated demon god cultists from recent days.

"Through these days of effort, the number of cultists has decreased by 90%. Currently, only a very small number have escaped and are evading capture. However, please rest assured, we have now gathered enough intelligence, and the few escaped cultists will soon be brought to justice."

A round of applause erupted at the press conference, and there were even ordinary citizens cheering at the back of the press section.

Reporters below raised their hands to ask questions: "Mr. Chen, there are rumors that the recent appearance of 'dragons' is related to the Arbitrators. Is this true?"

Chen Tian's smile remained unchanged: "Currently, there is no evidence to suggest a direct link between those creatures and us. But if they truly exist, I believe they are more likely to be some kind of natural phenomenon, or…" He paused, a hint of playfulness flashing in his eyes, "—the overly rich imagination of some people."

A light chuckle rippled through the audience.

Natasha stood backstage, arms crossed, and whispered to Miss 2B beside her: "Yorha, Chen Tian is really good at acting."

Miss 2B calmly replied: "Master said that a mature hero should be like this."

Natasha snorted softly: "Him? Mature? He's clearly just a big otaku."

Miss 2B covered her mouth and chuckled softly.

Arbitrator Tower · Tactical Command Center

Inside the spacious tactical room, a holographic projection slowly rotated in the center, displaying real-time dynamics from around the globe. Chen Tian leaned lazily on the sofa, tossing a small basketball up and down in his hand, his gaze constantly fixed on the projection.

Miss 2B stood beside the projection, her fingers rapidly sliding across a tactical tablet, data streams scrolling like a waterfall.

"Over the past 72 hours, 92% of the demon cultist strongholds have been cleared. The remaining 8% of remnants are still on the run." With a wave of her hand, several red dots immediately appeared on the projection:

South America · Amazon Rainforest

Eastern Europe · Carpathian Mountains

Africa · Sahara Desert

Southeast Asia · Borneo Rainforest

"According to intelligence analysis, they are constantly relocating, and—" Miss 2B paused, "—each time we are about to encircle them, local dark forces always assist them in escaping."

Chen Tian caught the basketball, tossed it lightly, and the basketball accurately landed in the hoop in the corner.

"Tsk, these rats are quite good at running." He tilted his head, looking at the others, "Everyone, any thoughts?"

Natasha sat with her legs crossed at the tactical table, her fingertips gently tapping the surface, her red lips slightly curved: "Why don't we just go directly and kill them? There aren't many of them left anyway."

Pietro leaned against the wall, a power bar in his mouth, saying indistinctly: "I'm fast, I can run around the World, and report immediately if I find anything unusual."

Banner frowned, staring at the projection: "Ethan and I have now taken over Tony's position and are in the final stages of Watcher Platform completion. We are temporarily unable to leave."

Chen Tian nodded: "Then let the combat robots cooperate with Pietro to continue the pursuit, try to corner them, and then we'll strike."

Miss 2B nodded slightly: "Mechanical units have been mobilized to blockade major escape routes."

Chen Tian looked at Natasha: "Nat, as the mobile team, be ready to provide support at any time."

Natasha raised an eyebrow: "No problem."

Chen Tian narrowed his eyes: "By the way, where's Barton? Haven't heard from him in a while?"

Natasha shrugged: "His work enthusiasm has been very low recently. He's been holed up at home all day, seemingly a bit depressed due to the S.H.I.E.L.D. collapse."

Chen Tian snorted softly: "Alright then, you figure out a way to drag Steve, who's turned into an otaku, out of his room, and let him vent his frustration on the demon cultists."

Natasha's lips curved into a playful smile: "Gladly."

Pietro swallowed his power bar, excitedly raising his hand: "Shall I scout ahead first?"

Chen Tian nodded: "Go, but report any anomalies immediately. Don't act rashly."

"Understood!" Before Pietro finished speaking, he had already transformed into a silver afterimage and vanished from his spot.

Banner pushed up his glasses, looking at Chen Tian: "Do Ethan and I need to speed up? Once the Watcher debugging is complete, we can provide more precise support."

Chen Tian waved his hand: "No need. The Watcher Platform is more important. You must ensure the Watcher operates stably after it goes into orbit. Leave the demon cultist matter to us."

He stood up, hands in his pockets, his gaze sweeping over everyone: "Operation begins. Remember—"

"This time, don't let them slip away again."

Everyone exchanged glances and nodded in unison.

After everyone left, only Chen Tian and Miss 2B remained in the command center. The light of the holographic projection illuminated Chen Tian's profile. He casually tossed the basketball aside, leaning against the edge of the tactical table, arms crossed.

"Miss 2B, what has Tony been doing lately?" He asked casually, with a hint of nonchalance in his tone.

Miss 2B's mechanical eyes flickered slightly, data streams rapidly scrolling in her pupils, then she smiled softly.

"Master, Mr. Stark has recently befriended Prince T'Challa."

Chen Tian raised an eyebrow, a hint of surprise on his face.

"Oh? Tony is actually willing to interact with a stranger for so long? Amazing."

Miss 2B's lips curved slightly upward, with a touch of teasing.

"Yes, and he seems very interested in Prince T'Challa, constantly describing the Arbitrators' philosophy to him, and Prince T'Challa… also seems very interested."

Chen Tian chuckled softly, shaking his head.

"Tony, that guy, usually acts like 'I'm the best in the World' to everyone. Now he's actually willing to patiently chat with someone?"

Miss 2B blinked, adding:

"Not only that, Master, Tony is now a bit impatient to go see Wakanda."

Chen Tian narrowed his eyes, deep in thought.

"Oh? What did Prince T'Challa say then?"

Miss 2B shrugged, her tone carrying a hint of helplessness.

"Prince T'Challa is very tight-lipped. No matter how Tony tried to probe, he didn't reveal any specific information about Wakanda."

Chen Tian couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Ha! It's rare for someone to make Tony lose face."

He walked to the window, overlooking the city's night view, neon lights reflecting colorful hues on the glass.

"However… Tony being so proactive isn't a bad thing." He murmured softly, then turned back to Miss 2B.

"Keep an eye on it. If Tony can really persuade Prince T'Challa, it would be a good breakthrough for us."

Miss 2B nodded slightly.

"Understood, Master."

Chen Tian stretched, then turned and walked towards the door.

"Alright, I'm hungry. Let's go get something to eat."

Miss 2B followed behind him, saying softly:

"Do you need me to prepare a late-night snack for you?"

Chen Tian waved his hand.

"No need, I'm going to visit someone else's house."

A sharp glint flashed in Miss 2B's eyes.

"Okay, Master, I wish you a pleasant meal."

Chen Tian turned back and smiled at her.

"I will, Miss 2B."

With that, he pushed open the door, his figure disappearing into the hallway lights.

Seoul · A high-end club

The top-floor terrace of the club was designed as a semi-open sky garden, surrounded by transparent glass curtain walls, offering a panoramic view of the city under the Sun.

Soft jazz music flowed in the background, and waiters silently moved among the guests, providing top-notch service.

Tony leaned back in a comfortable armchair, swirling a glass of amber whiskey in his hand. He wore a well-tailored dark blue suit, his collar casually open, with his signature confident smile on his face.

"T'Challa, honestly, I've made breakthrough progress in commercial clean energy recently." Tony raised his glass, gesturing to T'Challa opposite him, "If it can be widely promoted, global energy costs could be reduced by at least 40%."

T'Challa smiled slightly, also raising his glass, his eyes sparkling with interest. He wore a low-key luxurious black suit.

"That sounds impressive, Mr. Stark." T'Challa took a sip of coffee, "A 40% reduction is enough to change the energy structure of many countries."

"Yes, but that's where the problem lies." Tony put down his glass, his finger gently tapping the table.

"Material stability, the problem lies in material stability. Stable materials are too expensive, preventing this technology from being widely promoted." He deliberately paused, his gaze subtly sweeping over T'Challa, "If… there was a technology suitable for public use and not expensive, I think this would be a plan that benefits everyone."

T'Challa's smile remained unchanged, but his eyes deepened slightly.

"Every technological breakthrough brings benefits to the public." He responded lightly, "However, technological breakthroughs often require time."

Tony raised an eyebrow, about to continue probing, when he suddenly noticed the surrounding atmosphere subtly tense up.

A tall guard quickly approached. She had a shaved head and a stern face.

She leaned down and whispered a few words into T'Challa's ear, her voice so soft that even Tony's enhanced hearing system couldn't catch it. But Tony noticed T'Challa's expression gradually becoming serious, his brow unconsciously furrowing.

After listening, T'Challa took a deep breath, and when he turned to Tony, a polite smile reappeared on his face: "I apologize, Mr. Stark, I've enjoyed our time together recently, but I have some family matters that require my return, so I must bid you farewell."

Tony keenly sensed that something was amiss. He put down his glass, leaning slightly forward: "Do you need my help? You know, I'm speaking with you in a private capacity, so Stark Industries' resources and connections can assist. If you need the Arbitrators…"

T'Challa gently shook his head, a hint of gratitude flashing in his eyes, but still maintaining distance: "Thank you for your kindness, but this is a family matter." He stood up, adjusted his suit, "I hope we can continue this interesting conversation next time we meet."

Tony also stood up, extending his hand: "Always welcome. If you need any help, you know how to contact me."

T'Challa shook Tony's hand, "Of course." With that, he turned and quickly departed, his guards immediately forming a protective formation behind him.

Tony sat back down in his seat, his finger gently tapping his temple. His gaze still followed T'Challa's departing direction, but a playful smile curved his lips.

"Jarvis," he asked in a low voice, "Did you analyze their conversation just now?"

Jarvis's voice sounded in his ear: "Sir, based on lip-reading analysis, only the approximate content can be determined. The Wakandan dialect is not in my language database."

Tony took out a pair of glasses from his inner jacket pocket and put them on: "Tell me what you got."

"Only one word confirmed, Sir." Jarvis paused for half a second, "Father."

Tony's eyebrows shot up, and he laughed, "Jarvis, is Chen Tian asleep?"

Jarvis's voice was delayed by a second this time, "Mr. Chen is already resting, Sir. Do you need me to notify Miss 2B to wake Mr. Chen?"

"No, let that kid sleep. I know he hasn't slept in three days, but tomorrow morning after the Malibu Sun comes out, have him contact me." Tony chuckled softly.

"Emmm, just tell him that the Africa version of 'Hamlet' is about to begin."

"Okay, Sir. What's your next schedule?"

"Jarvis, do you remember that project I funded in Seoul before?"

"Sir, all your funded projects are noted. The project in Seoul marked as highest priority is Dr. Helen Cho's 'Cradle of Life' technology, is that correct?"

"Hey, Jarvis, that's cheating."

"No, Sir. To use your and Mr. Chen's mutual teasing phrase, this is called reasonable utilization."

"Hahaha, good job, Jarvis. Please contact Miss Helen Cho for me."

"Already contacting for you. You can go downstairs in three minutes. The Arbitrators' autonomous vehicle will arrive at the main entrance of the building in four minutes."

"Ha, Jarvis, what would I do without you?"
