Superman hovered in space, his red cape gently swaying in the zero-gravity environment.
His eyes glowed red, his super vision sweeping every corner of the Earth—from bustling cities to remote mountain villages, from towering mountains to deep ocean trenches.
His super hearing picked up sounds from every corner of the globe—whispers, arguments, laughter, crying... but there was no trace of the Arbitrators.
"Impossible…" Superman muttered to himself, "They couldn't have just vanished into thin air."
His fists clenched, knuckles white. Anger surged in his chest like lava, and his heat vision erupted uncontrollably, instantly vaporizing the space debris floating nearby.
Finally, Superman gave up the search and turned to fly back to Earth. His figure was like a red meteor, cutting through the atmosphere, landing with a scorching air current on the helipad of the Justice League building.
Inside the Justice League's conference room, the atmosphere was so heavy it was almost suffocating.
Diana stood by the window, her Lasso of Truth wrapped around her waist, her gaze piercing through the glass towards the distant city skyline.
Flash Barry fidgeted restlessly in his seat, his fingers tapping rapidly on the table, so fast they almost created afterimages.
Cyborg Viktor's electronic eyes flickered continuously, and a holographic projection unfolded before him, displaying surveillance footage from all over the World.
"Nothing found." Diana turned around, her voice low, "I searched all possible hiding places in Europe, not even ancient ruins were spared."
Barry scratched his head: "I ran all over North America and South America, even went to the South Pole…" He shrugged, "Didn't even find a Shadow."
Cyborg's holographic projection switched to a global map, densely marked with red dots: "I hacked into the global surveillance system, including satellite and drone networks, but Tony and Chen Tian seem to have completely vanished from Earth."
The conference room door suddenly opened, and Superman slowly walked in. His expression was stern, and the red glow in his eyes had not faded.
"Clark…" Diana hesitated.
Superman raised a hand to interrupt her: "I know, you haven't found anything either."
He walked to the conference table, his hands resting on the surface, his gaze sweeping over everyone present: "They couldn't have just vanished into thin air. There must be something we missed."
Cyborg suddenly looked up: "Wait…" His electronic eyes flickered rapidly, "I just received an urgent news push."
In the center of the Justice Round Table, a holographic projection was playing, a live news broadcast—
In New York's Times Square, the huge electronic screen suddenly flickered, and the picture turned into static noise.
News anchor Jessica stood in front of the camera, her voice urgent: "Ladies and gentlemen, we are broadcasting breaking news live from Times Square. Just two minutes ago, the main screen signal in the Square was invaded…"
In the center of the static screen, a blood-red Batman symbol slowly emerged, glaring as if stained with fresh blood. Below the symbol, in dark red font, it read: "The truth will eventually surface"
"As you can see," Jessica's voice carried obvious shock, "This is the symbol of the Justice League's most wanted criminal—Batman. This former League member, now…"
The screen suddenly switched, and a blurry surveillance video began to play: Superman's eyes shot out heat vision, the Bel Air Hotel collapsed in flames, screams rising one after another. Then came the scene of a school bus cut in half, the children's cries heartbreaking.
"These images…" Jessica's voice trembled, "seem to be the destruction caused by Superman…"
At the Justice League headquarters, the alarm blared. Superman hovered in mid-air, the red glow in his eyes surging: "Bruce?!" Cyborg's electronic eyes flickered rapidly: "Signal source untraceable! This is impossible!"
Diana gripped her Lasso of Truth: "Clark, these images…"
"Those were just unintentional actions while apprehending criminals! If those criminals didn't exist! This wouldn't have happened!!" Superman roared, and the conference room glass shattered in response.
The static on the screen twisted and deformed again, blood-red text tearing the image like a wound:
"The farce of committing tyranny in the name of Justice should end, Carl El, 12 hours from now, Washington District—Trident Ruins, I will prove to the World that the God of Man is nothing more than a tyrannical monarch, not a God, but a man who bleeds."
The conference room fell silent. The red glow in Superman's eyes flickered violently, his cape fluttering without wind. Diana's hand unconsciously tightened on the Lasso of Truth, and Cyborg's electronic eyes flickered wildly, trying to trace the signal source.
"Bruce…" Superman's low voice suppressed his fury, "You finally showed yourself."
Flash nervously rubbed his hands: "Uh… shouldn't we evacuate civilians first? The Trident Ruins are in the Washington District…"
"No." Superman interrupted definitively, "Let them witness the traitor's end with their own eyes." His gaze swept over everyone present, "Diana, you are responsible for blockading the surrounding area; Cyborg, take over the global communication system; Barry, make sure there are no stragglers, I'll go find the Yellow Lantern Corps."
Diana stepped forward: "Clark, this is too risky! What if it's a trap…"
"Then let them try." Superman sneered, heat vision swirling in his eyes, "In 12 hours, the World will understand—who is the true Guardian."

Meanwhile, 300 meters underground in the Washington District.
Batman stood in front of the holographic projection, behind him were Tony, Chen Tian, and Wade. The projection showed real-time footage of the Justice League headquarters.
"He took the bait." Tony sipped his coffee, "But are you really sure you want to do this? Challenge Superman head-on?"
Batman did not reply, but looked at Chen Tian.
Chen Tian smiled, "Master Wayne, don't worry, as long as he comes, he will be the one who dies in the end."
Batman said nothing, just pulled out a rice-sized green stone from his utility belt—Kryptonite.
Wade whistled: "Wow~ Master is playing for real! Are you going to shove this stone into Superman's brain?"
Batman handed the rice-sized Kryptonite to Chen Tian, his low voice echoing in the dim underground space: "It's up to you."
Chen Tian took the Kryptonite, weighed it lightly in his palm, then tossed it casually—the Kryptonite arced through the air and instantly disappeared into the vortex of the summoning space.
"Don't worry," Chen Tian sneered, "Perhaps it won't be needed."
He looked at the image of the Justice League headquarters in the holographic projection, "As for you, Clark and Diana, I will make sure they fall into the trap. But Cyborg is very vigilant and may not fall for it. And Flash—" He paused, "His speed is too fast, it's very possible he'll leave in an instant."
Tony put down his coffee cup, "Cyborg is mine, I also want to know, is his robot, made of alien technology, more powerful, or is my armor more powerful."
Wade suddenly jumped up from the sofa, his hands: "What about me? What am I responsible for? Seducing Flash?" He blew a kiss, "Although I'm not interested in men, for Justice, I'm willing to sacrifice my—"
"Wade." Batman coldly interrupted, "Your mission is to ensure civilian evacuation."
Wade pouted, muttering softly: "Another errand…"
Chen Tian stroked his chin, "No, they won't come with so few people, Bruce, where is Hal Jordan? And the others?"
Batman shook his head slightly, "As long as you can take Clark and Diana away, the others are nothing to fear."
Chen Tian chuckled: "You're really confident, Bruce." He put his hands in his pockets, his gaze sweeping over the real-time footage of the Justice League headquarters in the holographic projection, "Then let's wait 12 hours."
Tony clapped his chest, nanites flowing over him, "In 12 hours, the World will witness an epic showdown." He looked at Batman, "Are you sure you don't want to notify other allies? Like—"
"No need." Batman's voice was low and firm, "The more people involved, the more variables there are."
Tony sighed and turned to Chen Tian: "Are you sure your plan can trap Superman? That guy is a monster who can move Planets."
Chen Tian didn't answer immediately, but raised his right hand and lifted his chin, "Tony, who do you think I am?"
Batman's lips tightened imperceptibly: "Remember, Karl El is not the only threat. Diana's Lasso of Truth and Bracelets of Submission are equally dangerous."
"Don't worry," Chen Tian showed a cold smile, "I found her a good opponent."
— — — — — —
12 hours later, Washington District.
Dark clouds hung over the entire city, as if even the sky was holding its breath for the impending battle. The streets were unusually empty, with only a few daring internet celebrities holding selfie sticks, excitedly explaining to the camera:
"Brothers! See that? This is the Trident Ruins! Justice League VS Batman! The fight's about to start! Send gifts!"
"Folks! I'm here live! When Superman arrives later, I'm going straight up to get an autograph!"
"Brothers, hit that like and follow button! If a fight breaks out later, I'm rushing straight into the battlefield to livestream!"
They didn't know they were dangerously close to Death.
In the center of the Trident Ruins, Batman stood alone. His black cape fluttered in the wind, and his eyes beneath the mask were as cold as ice.
Batman looked up at the sky. Above the dark clouds, a red figure was approaching at an astonishing speed.
"He's here," Batman whispered.
The next second, Superman crashed into the center of the ruins like a meteor, the Impact shattering the surrounding ground. As the dust cleared, Superman hovered in mid-air, his eyes glowing with dangerous red light.
"Bruce…" Superman's voice was filled with immense suppressed anger, "You finally stopped hiding."
Batman slowly raised his hands: "Karl, stop, look at what you've done. Have you forgotten the look on Oliver's face when you killed him? Or have you forgotten John, whom you personally burned to Death?!" (John Jones, the human name of Martian Manhunter, original name J'Onn J'Onzz.)
Superman sneered: "They followed you, obstructing my path to upholding Justice, so they deserve to die! And you—" His eyes grew redder and redder, "—are the culprit who killed them!"
"You have no idea what you've done!" Batman shook his head, "Karl, if you're still willing to surrender, I promise—"
"Enough!" Superman roared, and his heat vision instantly erupted!
Batman dodged sideways, the heat vision grazing his cape and directly slicing a building behind him in half. Debris flew everywhere, and only then did those internet celebrities realize the seriousness of the situation, screaming and scattering.
"Run! They're really fighting!"
"Holy crap! My phone!"
Superman ignored the civilians, his gaze locked on Batman: "Do you think you can defeat me by using those words on the internet?"
Batman didn't answer, but pressed a button on his utility belt.
"Boom—!"
The entire Trident Ruins suddenly glowed with an eerie green light—countless miniature Kryptonite bombs were detonated, and green smoke instantly enveloped an area of several hundred meters!
Superman's face changed drastically, his body swayed, and he fell to one knee: "You…"
"Kryptonite dust," Batman said calmly, "Enough to weaken you, but not lethal."
Superman struggled to lift his head, the red glow in his eyes already dim: "Bruce… you betrayed… Justice…"
"No," Batman shook his head, "You betrayed humanity."
Just as Batman took out a Batarang covered in Kryptonite dust and threw it at Superman.
"Karl!" Diana descended from the sky, her Lasso of Truth striking at Batman like a golden lightning bolt!
Batman rolled to avoid the Lasso of Truth's attack, landing steadily, his gaze sweeping around—Flash and Cyborg had already appeared at the edge of the battlefield, and in the sky, dozens of yellow lights fell like meteors, as Hal Jordan led the Yellow Lantern Corps to the battlefield.
Superman slowly stood up, the red glow in his eyes reigniting, and he said coldly: "You have no chance, Bruce. I'll make it quick for you."
Batman straightened his body, the corner of his mouth beneath the mask curving slightly upwards: "Is everyone here? Then we can begin."
As soon as he finished speaking, the ground suddenly vibrated, and a massive blue barrier rose from around the ruins, like an inverted bowl, enveloping Superman, Diana, the Yellow Lantern Corps, Flash, and Cyborg.
Superman frowned, punching the barrier, but the force capable of shattering mountains only created a ripple on the barrier. He sharply turned his head to look at Batman: "What is this?"
Batman didn't answer, but pressed his communicator: "Chen Tian, it's up to you."
The next second, the space within the barrier suddenly twisted, and the figures of Superman and Diana instantly vanished, as if forcibly dragged into another dimension by some force.
Hal's face changed: "Spatial teleportation?!" He immediately raised his Yellow Lantern ring, trying to materialize a weapon, but the energy field within the barrier interfered with the ring's operation, causing the Yellow Lantern warriors to lose their balance.
Within the blue spatial barrier, Flash's body suddenly became blurry, golden Speed Force lightning wildly leaping around him. Every cell in his body vibrated at superluminal speed, resisting the Space Stone's gravitational pull.
"No… I can't…" Barry gritted his teeth, the Speed Force surging within him, "I can't… be teleported away…"
Just as his figure was about to be swallowed by the spatial distortion, a blinding golden lightning bolt shot into the sky! Barry broke through the spatial barrier's bondage, transforming into a golden stream of light, and rushed out of the teleportation range at the last moment.
"Bang!"
He crashed heavily onto the ground outside the barrier, sliding dozens of meters before stopping. Barry struggled to prop himself up, looking up at the blue barrier—it was already empty, Superman, Diana, Hal, and his Yellow Lantern Corps had all vanished.
"Viktor!" Barry turned to look for his companion, finding Cyborg kneeling on one knee, his electronic eye flickering wildly, "Are you okay?"
Cyborg's mechanical body emitted an unstable hum: "I… severed some… mechanical connections… the Space Stone… couldn't lock onto my… organic parts…"
Barry staggered to his side: "Where are the others? Where were they teleported to?"
No sooner had he spoken than the blue barrier dissipated, and the figures of Batman and Tony appeared before Flash and Cyborg.
Tony crossed his arms, his armor's faceplate retracting to reveal his characteristic nonchalant smile: "Hey, Barry, want to know where they went?" He pointed to the sky, "The Universe, on a Planet countless light-years away, there, Chen Tian has prepared a grand party for them."
Flash Barry's pupils constricted, he suddenly stood up, the Speed Force flickering around him: "What did you do to Karl and Diana?!"
Batman remained silent, only watching them coldly. Tony shrugged: "Don't be nervous, we just temporarily moved them away from Earth. After all—" He snapped his fingers, "—we don't want to put the battlefield here."
— — — — — —
Titan, this once glorious Planet was now nothing but endless ruins. Broken rocks floated in the low-gravity environment, and the air was filled with dust and the scent of Death.
The figures of Superman, Diana, Hal Jordan, and dozens of Yellow Lantern warriors suddenly appeared in this desolate place. As soon as they stood firm, they felt a suffocating sense of oppression.
"This is… Titan?" Hal looked around, the glow of his Yellow Lantern ring particularly dazzling in the dim environment.
"Welcome," a cold voice came from above.
Everyone looked up—Chen Tian was sitting on a huge rock, the place where Thanos had died, and beside him, the Scarlet Queen's greatsword was deeply embedded in the ground.
And behind Chen Tian—
Dante, with Rebellion on his shoulder; Vergil, his eyes filled with cold killing intent; Wukong, jumping around warming up; Saitama, squatting on the ground poking at rocks; Bayonetta, sitting cross-legged on the high wall behind Chen Tian, smiling charmingly; Kiana, hands on her hips, wearing her White Knight armor.
Chen Tian looked at Superman and his group, and smiled.
"Welcome, new World."
