On the other side of Washington District, the entire block had already been reduced to ruins.
Ares stood atop a collapsed building, his scarlet cape fluttering in the smoke, like a Spartan banner.
His battle-axe was deeply embedded in the ground, its blade still dripping with fresh blood.
He grinned, revealing his bone-white teeth.
"Mortal, your rage… is interesting."
The ground suddenly exploded, and a verdant green figure shot into the sky, debris scattering like a rainstorm.
Hulk landed heavily, the asphalt beneath his feet instantly cracking.
His muscles were coiled, the golden Taurus Cloth covering his massive body, the bull-horned helmet gleaming with a cold luster in the Sun.
"Hulk—smash you even without Cloth!" he roared, his fists colliding, the Cloth's arm guards bursting with dazzling golden light.
Ares scoffed, pulling out his battle-axe, the blade igniting with blood-red divine Fire.
"Rage? I am War itself!"
The next second, two colossal Shadows crashed into each other!
Hulk's fist collided with Ares's battle-axe, the Impact instantly overturning all debris within a hundred meters.
Ares's battle-axe struck Hulk's Cloth, sparks flying, but only leaving a shallow scratch.
"Hard?" Ares raised an eyebrow.
Hulk sneered, suddenly grabbing the axe blade and yanking hard!
Ares was caught off guard, pulled entirely towards Hulk, to be met with—
"Gigantic Horn!!" Hulk's helmet horns suddenly glowed golden, he lowered his head and charged, his twin horns slamming fiercely into Ares's chest!
"Boom—!"
The God of War flew backward like a cannonball, crashing through three tall buildings before finally stopping.
He looked down at his caved-in chest, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.
"…Interesting." Ares slowly stood up, the battle intent in his eyes growing even more intense.
Ares violently tore off his tattered chest plate, revealing a body covered in divine War patterns.
His muscles began to swell, his skin gradually taking on a bronze hue, and his eyes completely turned scarlet.
"Mortal, you are worthy of a serious fight from me!"
His battle-axe ignited with an even more intense divine Fire, and he violently chopped at Hulk.
Hulk roared, meeting the attack, but this time, the axe blade actually cut through the Cloth's defense, leaving a bloody mark on Hulk's chest!
"Pain?!" Hulk looked down at his wound, the green light in his eyes surging.
"Hulk—stronger with pain!"
His muscles swelled again, and the Taurus Cloth actually deformed with them, the shoulder guards extending into sharper spikes, and the bull-horned helmet becoming even more menacing.
Ares raised his battle-axe, the sky suddenly darkened, and the wails of countless souls echoed across the battlefield.
"Witness the Ragnarok of War!"
Hulk, meanwhile, hunched his body, his fists clenched, the golden light of the Taurus Cloth condensing into a roaring phantom of a giant bull.
"Hulk—strongest!"
The two forces collided with a roar!
"Boom—!!!"
The entire block completely collapsed in the Impact, the ground caving into a massive pit, and smoke rising into the sky.
When the dust cleared, Ares was kneeling on one knee, his battle-axe broken, divine blood gushing from wounds all over his body.
Hulk stood before him, his Cloth covered in cracks, but the Fire in his eyes undiminished.
Ares slowly stood up, his broken battle-axe re-forming in his hand—this time no longer metal, but pure blood-red divine Fire.
His wounds healed at a visible rate, and ancient War runes appeared on his skin.
"Very good… very good!" His voice turned hoarse, "Let me see how much of the true meaning of War you can withstand!"
Hulk's feet were deeply embedded in the ground, green energy seeping from the cracks in the Taurus Cloth.
He grinned menacingly: "Hulk—likes to fight!"
Suddenly, Ares's figure split into twelve, each clone holding a different weapon: spears, greatswords, warhammers… attacking Hulk from all directions.
The ground collapsed under the immense pressure of the divine power, and the air shrieked from the extreme speed of the slashes.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Hulk blocked with astonishing speed, the Cloth's bull-horned helmet suddenly shooting golden beams of light, shattering three clones.
But the remaining nine weapons simultaneously pierced his body—divine blood mixed with Hulk's blood splattered out.
"Roar—!!" Hulk let out a furious roar.
His muscles swelled again, the Cloth clashed again, and the exposed limb muscles even glowed green, those wounds healing at an even faster rate.
Ares's pupils contracted: "Stronger with more rage?"
Hulk did not answer.
He grabbed the weapons embedded in his body, yanked hard, pulling all of Ares's clones towards himself.
Then—
"Hulk—smash!"
His fists slammed into the ground, and a circular Impact wave spread out.
The nine clones exploded simultaneously, and Ares's main body was sent flying into the air.
Hulk seized the opportunity to leap up, grabbing Ares's ankle, and slamming him into the ground like a wrecking ball, once, twice, three times… each Impact triggering a small earthquake.

Three streets away from the battlefield of Hulk and Ares, a golden pillar of light shot into the sky.
Hercules's lion-skin cape roared with divine power, and his spiked club lightly touched the ground, instantly turning the surrounding rubble into dust.
"Mortal, you wear the glory of the Leo." The demigod hero's gaze fell on Steve's shining golden Cloth, "But do you know, the Nemean Lion died tragically by my hand?"
Steve's Star Shield and the Cloth's arm guards clanged crisply: "I only know that a hero does not casually attack mortals."
Hercules suddenly erupted, his spiked club transforming into a hundred-meter giant pillar the moment it swung.
Steve dodged sideways, and the ground where he had stood was smashed into a thirty-meter diameter meteorite crater.
"Lightning Lightspeed Fist!"
The Leo Cloth's gauntlets burst with golden light, and Steve's right fist threw hundreds of shadowy punches within 0.01 seconds.
Hercules blocked with his spiked club, the sparks from the weapon colliding with the gold forming a band of light in the air.
"Interesting!" The demigod laughed, tearing off his upper body clothing, the totems of the Twelve Labors glowing on his muscles, "But such a fist can't even wound Cerberus's fur!"
He suddenly grabbed Steve's wrist, and with an over-the-shoulder throw, slammed the warrior in the Cloth into the ground, the surrounding buildings collapsing in the Impact, but the next second, a golden meteor shot out from the rubble.
"Plasma Lightspeed Fist!"
Steve's fist condensed Sun-like energy, and Hercules finally changed expression.
He violently plunged his spiked club into the ground: "Rage of the Earth!"
The rock layers of the entire block surged up, forming a thousand-meter-high wave of Earth.
The collision of the Lightspeed Fist and the Earth's power triggered a chain reaction of explosions.
When the smoke cleared, Hercules was kneeling on one knee, a fist print clearly visible on his chest Cloth.
Steve was also kneeling on one knee, blood flowing from his helmet.
"Mortal… your will…" The demigod hero struggled to his feet, "reminds me of… my former self…"
Steve wiped away the blood, his Star Shield and gauntlets glowing golden again: "Then find that self again!"
A flicker of clarity flashed in Hercules's eyes, but was immediately drowned in blood-red.
He roared, tearing off the lion skin around his neck, and the fur actually transformed into a living Nemean Lion that pounced on Steve.
Steve gritted his teeth, struggling to mobilize his body's strength, the physical exhaustion from the Plasma Lightspeed Fist making every muscle scream.
His vision was blurred from blood loss, but his clenched fist still burned with a faint golden light.
The roar of the Nemean Lion shattered the remaining glass within a hundred meters, its claws, capable of tearing divine bodies, plowing deep furrows in the ground.
Steve struggled to look up, seeing Hercules standing behind the giant lion, an undercurrent of divinity and madness swirling in his eyes.
"Surrender, mortal." The demigod's voice was like muffled thunder, "Your body has reached its limit."
Steve's fingers dug into the ground cracks, the Star Shield's strap deeply cutting into his flesh.
He thought of the scrawny boy in the Brooklyn alley, of Dr. Erskine's last smile, of seventy years of darkness in the glacier.
"I can… fight all day." His blood-stained lips pulled into a stubborn curve.
The Leo Cloth suddenly burst forth with unprecedented light—not from the power of the constellation, but from the flame burning deep within Steve's soul.
What flowed from the cracks was no longer sweat and blood, but pure light.
Hercules's pupils constricted: "This is impossible…"
"Bang!"
Steve's fist struck the great lion's lower jaw before the sound, not with the power of Plasma Lightspeed Fist, but with the simplest straight punch.
Yet, the Nemean Lion's fangs snapped, and its legendary impenetrable hide was scorched by a mortal's fist.
"The so-called limit—" Steve staggered to his feet, the cracks in his Cloth gleaming with an unusual white light, "—is meant to be broken!"
Hercules roared as he charged, his mace imbued with the divine power to move mountains and fill seas.
Steve neither dodged nor retreated, meeting him with both his Star Shield and his fist.
At the moment of Impact, time seemed to stand still—
"Crack!"
Cracks appeared on the weapon of the Twelve Labors hero.
Steve's arm bones groaned under the immense pressure, but more light surged from the cracks.
Every breath he took was tinged with blood, every heartbeat boomed like a war drum.
When Hercules's second strike came, Captain America did something that astonished the demigod.
He let go of his Star Shield.
Steve caught the divine artifact, capable of pulverizing mountains, with both hands; his finger bones deformed under the pressure, yet he held the mace in a death grip.
"Watch closely, Hercules..." Blood gushed from his seven orifices, but his voice was clear as a bell, "This is a mortal's—"
A blood-stained fist pierced through the fragments of the god-made weapon, striking the demigod's face heavily.
Hercules staggered backward for the first time, golden divine blood splattering on Steve's shattered uniform.
—Will!"
The Nemean Great Lion suddenly turned, blocking its Master and whimpering.
Hercules touched the wound on his cheek; the madness controlled by Hera had receded, and the blood-red color in his eyes faded like a tide.
He saw Steve still holding his punching pose, though his body should have collapsed long ago.
"Enough..." The demigod hero reached out and pressed down on the great lion, and the totems of the Twelve Labors gradually dimmed, "You win, warrior."
Hercules's words finally allowed Steve's taut nerves to relax.
He still forced himself not to fall, but his legs had begun to tremble uncontrollably.
The demigod hero opposite him seemed to see through his persistence, suddenly grinned, casually tossed aside the broken mace, and with a 'thud,' his massive body sat down, raising a cloud of dust.
"Whew—"
Steve's body relaxed in turn, and he collapsed into the pile of rubble.
He lay on his back, his chest heaving violently, and the Leo Cloth made a faint metallic rubbing sound with each breath.
"Friday... I think I need... some medical attention..." he spoke with difficulty, his words broken over the communicator.
From a distance, Hercules's hearty laughter echoed, shaking the ground slightly: "Hahaha! What a mortal! Still remembers to call a Doctor after a fight!"
Steve's lips curved slightly upward; through his blurry vision, he saw the demigod hero sitting cross-legged, untying a wineskin from his waist and drinking heartily.
— — — — — — — —
The sky above the battlefield where Hulk and Ares were fighting was torn by blood-red and green light.
Each strike of Ares's battle-axe caused earthquake-like Impact on the ground, while Hulk's heavy punches made the foundations of the entire city tremble.
"Bang!"
Hulk's right fist sank deep into Ares's abdomen; the God of War spat out a mouthful of divine blood, but grinned as he slammed his forehead into Hulk's face.
The horned helmet emitted a deafening metallic hum, and the surface of the Gold Cloth remained unmoved.
Hulk staggered backward, the veins on his thick arms suddenly bulging.
He swung his arm back, grabbing Ares's cape, and spun him around, smashing him into a still-standing bank building.
"Rumble—"
The thirty-story building collapsed like building blocks.
Ares burst out of the rubble, his battle-axe now transformed into a gigantic war hammer burning with blood-red flames.
He laughed maniacally as he swung the heavy hammer over his head: "It seems a more direct approach is needed!"
The heavy hammer struck Hulk's chest with destructive force; the Taurus Cloth emitted a deafening roar, but its surface remained intact.
However, Hulk's body suddenly jolted, and a trickle of green blood seeped from the corner of his mouth.
"Do you see, Beast?" Ares laughed, spitting blood, "Even the strongest armor cannot withstand the power of vibration!"
Hulk looked down at his trembling hands, then suddenly bared his large, blood-red mouth.
What was chilling was that he was actually smiling.
"Hulk.... likes!"
The Taurus Cloth suddenly burst forth with dazzling light; those golden rays formed energy circuits on Hulk's skin that perfectly matched gamma radiation.
His muscle density increased madly, and each step left lava-like footprints on the ground.
Ares's pupils constricted: "What kind of monster is this?"
His answer was Hulk's sudden disappearance—the green giant, whose speed had surged, appeared directly above the God of War, his golden-light-enshrouded fist plummeting like a meteor.
"Hulk—end the war!"
This punch twisted space itself.
Ares's hastily raised heavy hammer deformed upon contact, and his divine body pierced through several concrete walls, finally embedding itself in a massive marble wall.
When the dust settled, the God of War struggled to push aside the rubble.
His left arm was unnaturally twisted, his breastplate utterly shattered, and the ancient runes symbolizing war were dimming and extinguishing on his skin.
"Impossible..." Ares struggled to stand, "I am Eternal War..."
Hulk's figure blocked the light.
The Taurus Cloth was as good as new, but the green light emanating from within reminded Ares of the oldest prophecy on Olympus—Ragnarok.
"Hulk says... war needs to sleep."
When the final uppercut struck Ares's chin, all the floor tiles of the entire building were shaken into the air.
The God of War's body traced a parabola, crashing heavily into the pool outside the building, sending water splashing dozens of meters high.
The pool water churned like it was boiling for a long time, eventually settling into calm.
Ares's helmet floated on the surface of the water; the crimson mane that had once struck fear into countless armies now clung to the metal surface, wet like ordinary cloth.
Hulk stood at the edge of the pool, his chest heaving violently, steam rising from his green skin.
He looked down at Ares's helmet floating on the water, two plumes of White smoke spray from his nostrils.
Suddenly, ripples appeared on the water—
"It's not over yet... monster..."
Ares's blood-stained arm suddenly broke through the water, grabbing Hulk's ankle.
The God of War's shattered body slowly rose from the Water: "War... never ends..."
Hulk roared, his huge green foot stomping down on Ares's wrist.
The crisp sound of bone cracking rang out, but the God of War instead let out a frenzied laugh.
At this instant, Hulk bent his knees and leaped, propelling his massive body hundreds of meters into the sky.
"Hulk—!"
As he fell, he curled into a ball, all the spikes of his Cloth extended, and his entire body transformed into a burning green meteor.
Ares managed to raise his intact left arm, and blood-red divine power condensed in his palm to form a final barrier—
"Boom!!!!"
The Impact generated by the collision evaporated all the water in the entire pool, revealing the cracked pool bottom.
Ares's body was smashed deep into the Earth's crust; when the dust cleared, Hulk was seen kneeling on one knee in the center of a hundred-meter-diameter Impact crater, his fist still pressed against Ares's sunken chest.
The God of War's pupils had dilated, and the war runes were dimming like extinguished embers.
His lips moved, uttering the last few words: "...A worthy... opponent..."
Hulk slowly stood up; he staggered to the edge of the crater, then suddenly his legs gave out, and he plopped down onto the ground.
He gasped for breath, baring his teeth, "Hulk.... strongest!"
— — — — — —
The moment Hulk finished speaking, a figure enveloped in lightning slammed down beside him like a cannonball.
Thor's body plowed a deep furrow in the ruins, Mjolnir rolled to one side, his armor shattered, and blood overflowing from his mouth stained his beard.
He struggled to prop himself up, "Hulk... careful—"
Before he finished speaking, a golden lightning bolt tore through the sky, striking Thor with a thunderous divine punishment!
The roar of the lightning shattered the ruins within a thousand-meter radius, and Thor let out a painful roar, his entire body engulfed in electrical light.
"You little brat, are you the God of Thor or the God of Hammers? Didn't Odin teach you not to rely on external objects?"
