Chapter 32 - Sunshine, Sand and Steel Butts

Inside Hammer's super luxurious large Villa.

The telephone rang abruptly, breaking the tranquility inside Dominic's Villa. Dominic leaned lazily on the sofa, just imagining how those so-called "experimenters" would regret their actions under his counterattack. Seeing that it was Tony's call, a smirk appeared at the corner of his mouth, and he casually pressed the answer button.

"Hey, Dominic!" Tony's signature confident voice came from the other end of the phone, sounding enthusiastic, "Are you free this weekend? I happen to be going to Monaco for a small race, and I'm just missing an opponent who can make me nervous. How about you come and race too?"

Dominic raised an eyebrow, a meaningful smile appearing on his face, "Oh? Racing? Tony Stark, the World-famous billionaire, a genius inventor, is actually personally inviting me to participate in a car race? Honestly, I thought you'd only have those A-list celebrities accompany you."

Tony laughed heartily on the other end of the phone, his voice carrying a hint of unrestrained teasing, "Oh, come on, Dominic, you're not scared, are you? I know you fly fast, but flying fast doesn't mean you drive fast! Besides, I have my Iron Armor protecting me, I can 'cheat' anytime."

Hearing this, a sly glint flashed in Dominic's eyes, he gently shook his head, his lips curving upwards, "Tony, you're really a bit cute with your confidence. You think that broken armor of yours can compare to me? Don't forget, I can directly burn through your engine with my eyes. Are you sure you want to race me, and not just surrender directly?"

"Wow, it seems I've stirred up a hornet's nest today." Tony still didn't change his playful attitude, instead becoming even more excited, "Then it's settled, see you in Monaco. If you don't come, it means you've defaulted to surrendering, got it?"

Dominic leaned lazily on the sofa, gently snapping his fingers, "Monaco? Sounds good, it's been a long time since I enjoyed the seaside scenery. Since Tony Stark himself has invited me, how can I refuse? It's just, don't cry when you lose."

Tony's laughter came from the other end of the phone, carrying a hint of provocation, "Hey, why would I cry? But I am curious, when we're racing, will you suddenly get a whim and use your Cyclops to light up my tires?"

Dominic pretended to ponder for a moment, then showed an innocent smile, "Oh, I wouldn't do something so unfair. Don't worry, Tony, I definitely won't let you lose too badly. At most, I'll leave your little Iron butt hanging at the finish line for a few hours."

"Excellent!" Tony's voice was full of playfulness, "Well then, I'll prepare a few bottles of champagne, and after you come to Monaco and are thoroughly humiliated by me, I'll personally treat you to a good drink!"

Dominic smiled slightly. After hanging up the phone, his eyes shone with excitement, "Tony, oh Tony, you really think you can beat me? Alright then, I'll let you know what real speed and passion are."

He stood up and stretched, as if the Monaco race was already a sure win, "Looks like I need to prepare a little, after all, I don't want Stark to lose too much face."

Not long after Dominic hung up Tony's call, a familiar voice sounded in his ear, carrying a hint of laziness and longing, "Dominic, if you're going to Monaco, can I come too?"

Dominic turned his head and saw Emil Blonsky standing at the door, looking expectant. On the face that had just changed back from Abomination to human, although it was less ferocious, it still carried a certain irrepressible longing and fervor.

"You want to go too?" Dominic raised an eyebrow, looking at him with interest, a playful smile curving at the corner of his mouth, "I thought you were only interested in fighting and killing."

Emil walked in, his hands in his pockets, his gaze gradually drifting towards the window, as if seeing a long-lost tranquility through the layers of clouds and mist. He sighed softly, speaking in a low but poetic voice, "Dominic, do you know? My military career was always full of tension, fighting, and bloodshed. Back then, my life had no beaches, no sunshine, and none of those women who smelled of perfume. There were only endless missions, harsh training, and fighting day and night... Those days, it felt as if even breathing was heavy."

His gaze was a little hazy, seemingly lost in past memories, "Now, finally, there's a chance to enjoy a beach like a normal person, feel the warmth of the Sun on my skin, watch those beautiful women playing in the waves... Isn't this the freedom I've always wanted?"

Saying this, he turned his head to look at Dominic, a faint smile on his face, but within that smile was a deep longing and regret, "Dominic, I've lost too much over the years. I know I might never be able to make up for what I've lost, but at least, now I can still pursue the freedom I yearn for."

As Dominic listened, he couldn't help but show a subtle expression. He lightly tapped his temple with his finger, his face full of playfulness and mockery, "Yo, yo, yo, judging by what you're saying, Blonsky, what's with this 'sentimental monologue' now? This really isn't like you. When did you become so artistic? Beaches, sunshine, beautiful women... Last time, weren't you still grinding people into the ground?"

Emil smiled helplessly and shook his head, "Dominic, you don't understand anything. Some things, you can only truly understand after experiencing the baptism of the battlefield. For you, conquering this World might just be a process, but for me, having a moment of peace, even just for an instant, that's already salvation."

After listening, Dominic squinted his eyes and grinned, "Alright, Blonsky, I didn't expect you to have such a delicate side. Well then, since you want to see the beautiful women on the beach so much, I'll reluctantly take you to Monaco to experience 'sunny days'. But..." He suddenly moved closer to Blonsky, a mischievous glint in his eyes, "Don't just focus on looking at the beautiful women and forget about your Dominic."

Blonsky laughed heartily, his eyes full of gratitude, "Don't worry, Dominic, I won't leave you no matter where you go."

Dominic patted Blonsky's shoulder, smiling wickedly and confidently, "That's right. Let's go, let's relax in Monaco and let that Stark guy see what a real 'all-star lineup' is."
