Chapter 54 - Ivan's Ultimate Fireworks Show: Perfect Ending

"Boom!" The last few battle suits exploded in the air, fragments scattering. The firelight reflected on Dominic's face, outlining the arrogant smile at the corner of his mouth. He looked down at Ivan, his voice cold and powerful: "What other tricks do you have? Bring them all out. I want to see how long you, this pathetic tin man, can last."

At this moment, Ivan had completely lost his composure. His eyes were filled with anger and terror as he watched his beloved battle suits being destroyed one by one by Dominic, his deep-seated pride being brutally trampled. He frantically pressed the command buttons on his battle suit, trying to summon the remaining suits to counterattack, but the mechanical wails seemed to announce his despair.

"Damn bastard!" Ivan gritted his teeth, his tone full of malice, "Go ahead and be proud! But this time, I won't lose to you again!" He stared intently at Dominic, his battle suit beginning to gather all its energy. The missile pods behind him opened again, and countless weapons were once again aimed at Dominic.

"I want you to know what despair is!" he roared. Before he finished speaking, countless missiles soared into the air again, heading straight for Dominic.

Dominic merely smiled coldly, a cold light flashing in his eyes. The laser beam erupted again. This time, a suffocating wave of heat burst forth in the air. Almost at the same instant, those missiles turned into balls of fire in the sky. Dominic's laser beam was like an invincible blade, cutting through all attacks, making those originally deadly weapons disappear into the air like bubbles.

On the battlefield, everything fell silent. Only the broken machinery on the ground was smoking. Dominic's figure stood tall and unwavering. He glanced at the disheveled Ivan, a mocking smile playing on his lips: "Despair? Haven't you figured out who is setting the rules for this fight?"

Ivan's eyes widened, filled with terror and disbelief. He looked at Dominic before him, feeling an overwhelming sense of oppression, his voice trembling with panic: "This… how is this possible…!" He gritted his teeth, his hands shaking as he tried to manipulate the instruments in his hands, attempting to summon the remaining battle suits to continue the attack. However, no matter how he adjusted, those battle suits seemed to have become useless scrap metal, only able to stand there mechanically.

Meanwhile, the few remaining battle suits on the periphery received the final order, continuing to attack, firing indiscriminately at the remaining spectators and buildings around them. The battlefield was chaotic, with fire everywhere and explosions constantly ringing out. Seeing this, Dominic raised an eyebrow slightly, a hint of disdain flashing in his eyes.

"Tsk tsk, looks like you still haven't given up," he sneered, the laser beam in his eyes flickering again, shooting out instantly with cold and merciless killing intent. The laser beam sliced across the battlefield with lightning speed, accurately hitting the cores of those battle suits. "Boom—" In a series of explosions, those battle suits were instantly torn into countless fragments, metal parts raining down on the ground.

"Clink—" A broken part smashed at Ivan's feet, making a crisp sound, as if mocking his failure and despair. Ivan's expression completely froze, his face showing undisguised fear. His World seemed to collapse in that instant.

Dominic slowly descended from mid-air, his toes lightly touching the ground, as if the entire battle was just a casual performance for him. His figure was tall and composed, standing in front of Ivan, looking down at this self-righteous "Avenger." His expression was cold and calm, his voice low, carrying an undeniable authority: "Do you know what your biggest mistake was, Ivan?" His tone was tinged with faint sarcasm, "It's that you thought you could really control all of this."

Ivan's fingers trembled, gripping the edge of the battle suit, trying to maintain a last shred of toughness, but his voice couldn't hide the fear: "No… impossible… I am… I am…" Before he finished speaking, Dominic took a quick step forward, suddenly grabbed Ivan's battle suit shoulder, his fingers digging deep into the metal seams, and with a strong pull, directly tore open that layer of sturdy armor.

"Rip—" The battle suit was torn like paper under Dominic's powerful strength. The internal circuits and parts were exposed to the air, emitting sparks. Dominic forcibly dragged Ivan out of the damaged battle suit and threw him aside like a piece of garbage. Ivan fell to the ground in a sorry state, covered in oil and blood, completely losing his previous arrogance and confidence.

Dominic slowly walked towards the fallen Ivan, each step carrying an unshakeable sense of oppression. His gaze was stern, his voice carrying a cruel mockery: "How pathetic, Ivan. You thought you could threaten me by controlling a few pieces of scrap metal? You thought you could achieve your so-called 'revenge'?" His voice became lower and lower, as if coming from the depths of hell, "You thought I would be like those foolish heroes, surrendering because of a few clumsy threats from you?"

Ivan gritted his teeth, his lips trembling as he tried to retort: "You… what do you want…?"

Dominic smiled slightly, but there was no warmth in his eyes. He reached out and pinched Ivan's chin, forcing him to look up and meet his gaze: "You really want to know? Alright, then I'll tell you. I… am just enjoying the process." His voice was gentle to the point of cruelty, his tone revealing a chilling calmness.

"You want to play with battle suits, so I'll destroy all your toys. You want revenge? Then you can watch with your own eyes how you fail." He released Ivan's chin and patted his cheek, his tone filled with mocking contempt, "But don't worry, Ivan, our 'game' isn't over yet. I will slowly, little by little, make you understand that you are not fit to stand opposite me at all."

Ivan was stunned by Dominic's cold words, his body stiff, a hint of fear and helplessness flashing in his eyes. He had never seen such a ruthless and powerful person. The utter despair made him unable to breathe. He wanted to retort, but every word was stuck in his throat, unable to make a sound.

Dominic lowered his head, watching him coldly, as if looking at a helpless prey: "Don't worry, I won't let you die too quickly. You need to watch carefully how those toys you are so proud of are destroyed little by little." With that, he turned around, his eyes once again flashing with scorching red light, completely blasting the last remaining battle suits into dust.

"Boom—" With a loud bang, the dust on the battlefield finally settled, and the entire area was enveloped in silence. The last bit of light in Ivan's eyes extinguished with it, and he collapsed to the ground as if all his strength had been drained.

"So, Ivan, stop dreaming about revenge," Dominic said lightly, his voice carrying endless indifference, "In this game, you don't even count as a noteworthy opponent."
