An armed robbery was underway on a major city road. The robbers were fully armed, holding weapons with fierce looks towards the innocent people in front of the bank entrance. Holding bags full of cash, several robbers roared wildly at the Police and the crowd: "Don't come closer! Anyone who dares to move, we'll make you all die with us!"
The Police had already surrounded the scene completely, red and blue Police lights flashing non-stop, but the armed officers were at a loss. Several patrol officers risked approaching to attempt negotiations, but were all scared back by the robbers' threats, and some citizens were even forced to Scream in terror by the robbers' threats.
Just then, a low humming sound suddenly came from the air. Looking up, people were surprised to see a rapidly approaching shadow streak across the sky, growing larger until it became a straight figure descending in front of the crowd.
It was him - Homelander, Dominic!
His arrival instantly ignited the enthusiasm of the onlookers. The Police officers unanimously breathed a sigh of relief, and some couldn't help but whisper: "We're saved! He's here!"
A burst of excited whispers quickly erupted among the crowd, some marveling, some cheering. His unquestionable stern expression, tall stature, and unshakable aura left the onlookers dumbfounded.
"Looks like 'Homelander' is going to teach these guys a lesson himself!" A reporter couldn't contain his excitement, quickly set up his camera, and reported excitedly to the lens: "This is already Dominic's twelfth time saving the public in the city center! Every time he appears, it brings peace of mind! No matter how dangerous, he resolves the crisis single-handedly - truly worthy of being our 'Guardian God'!"
Hearing this praise, the Police Director standing by the cordon immediately darkened his face, snorted coldly, and turned his head away, clearly uninterested in such flattery. Although he knew Dominic's abilities, his inner dissatisfaction and helplessness were particularly evident at this moment, seemingly finding the reporters' praise somewhat unbearable.
Meanwhile, Dominic calmly stepped towards the robbers, his eyes incredibly cold, carrying an arrogance that lorded over everything. He lightly patted his lapel, slightly raised his chin, completely disregarding the weapons in the robbers' hands, as if this was just a "game". His voice was low and full of oppression: "I suggest you drop your weapons and surrender obediently. I don't plan to show mercy."
The robbers exchanged glances, clearly shaken by his aura, but in an instant, they regained their ferocious expressions. The leading robber tilted his head and sneered: "Looks like you don't understand yet, this isn't something you can handle! Super Clown!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the robber raised his gun, aimed at Dominic, and pulled the trigger. The bullet sped out, cutting through the air with a sharp sound.
Dominic, however, didn't dodge or evade at all. He merely tilted his head slightly, and the bullet instantly grazed past his cheek, not even scratching his skin in the slightest. He casually glanced at the direction where the bullet landed, a cold, disdainful sneer playing on his lips, carrying a hint of arrogant mockery, "I said, drop your weapons and I'll give you a chance to live."
The robbers subconsciously recoiled, stunned by the sight before them, staring at him with disbelief. The leading robber feigned composure and roared: "To hell with chances! Brothers, go! Kill him!"
Several robbers no longer hesitated, raised their weapons, and fired wildly, the sound of gunshots echoing through the street. However, the bullets seemed to hit thin air. As Dominic's figure moved rapidly, the bullets were deflected one after another, unable to harm him in the slightest. With each movement, he advanced with lightning speed, his movements so fast they were dazzling.
"Bang!" Dominic delivered a heavy punch like a hawk, sending one robber flying several meters away, crashing hard against the bank wall. The man collapsed to the ground, almost losing consciousness.
The remaining robbers' eyes revealed endless fear; their arrogance had long vanished. Looking at the cold and ruthless "Homelander" before them, their legs involuntarily trembled. The leading robber's eyes flickered, and with a desperate survival instinct, he roared: "You... are you crazy? We just want money! Are you a damn monster?"
Dominic merely sneered, slowly walked closer, grabbed the robber by the collar, and lifted him up, his eyes as cold as ice: "Is that so? Too bad, I don't like people spouting nonsense." After saying that, he abruptly waved his hand, directly throwing the robber to the ground, where he landed with a heavy thud.
The surrounding crowd erupted in gasps of astonishment and cheers, their eyes filled with admiration and excitement. The reporters excitedly captured the scene on camera, reporting enthusiastically to the lens: "Dominic certainly didn't disappoint us! This whole thing is simply a baptism of justice, a miraculous moment belonging to 'Homelander'!"
Outside the cordon, a citizen couldn't help but shout: "Dominic! 'Homelander'! You truly are our hero!" Applause even rang out among the crowd, and cheers rose one after another.
Just as reporters rushed forward to get shots, microphones densely pointed at Dominic, he merely slightly raised his chin, a hint of arrogant spirit flashing in his eyes, and slowly said: "That's right, justice needs strength to protect it. You can rest assured, because - I am here."
This simple yet incredibly domineering sentence instantly triggered loud cheers from the crowd, as if the man before them was the unquestionable "Guardian God".
The Police Director stood by the cordon with a cold face, his eyes full of complexity, watching the scene before him, which was almost a personal show staged for "Homelander". Several reporters came up to try and interview him, but he just shook his head, turned coldly, and left.
On the top floor of Stark Tower, Tony Stark was leaning back in his classic chair, staring at the screen with a complex expression, which showed the robbers being completely powerless, even somewhat "stubborn", in front of Dominic. He crossed his arms, his brows slightly furrowed, and muttered with a puzzled look: "These robbers know Dominic's strength, yet they still dare to act... Is there something wrong with their brains?"
Just then, Dominic stepped into the room, his posture tall and straight, his eyes bright and piercing, a confident smile on his lips, as if he were the only savior on Earth. He casually flicked an imaginary cape (even though he didn't have one), striking a pose like "Superman saving the World", and said in a moderate tone: "Mr. Stark, some people are just that ignorant. You know, they saw me and still dared to act rashly... truly pathetic and foolish."
Tony glanced at him, a subtle dark line appearing in his eyes, the corner of his eye twitching slightly, and couldn't help but blurt out: "So, they were asking for death? You say it so lightly... Are you sure you didn't act just to show off?"
Dominic's lips curved into a meaningful smile, his hands crossed over his chest, as if he had entered self-indulgence mode. He said with an indifferent smile: "Tony, show off? I'm just fulfilling my heavenly duty. This World needs me - it needs 'Homelander'." He made an exaggerated gesture, tilting his head slightly, as if all the lights in the room were converging on him alone. "Criminals are like this; they always think they can get away with it, but in my eyes, they have nowhere to hide." As he spoke, he made a light tapping motion with his finger, as if he could restore order to everything at any moment.
Tony blinked helplessly, his face displaying a "here you go again" expression, his eyes full of strong dislike and speechlessness. "Alright, Homelander. You've truly fulfilled your 'heavenly duty' to the fullest. I'm almost moved." His tone was full of teasing, but the corner of his eye twitched slightly upwards, as if waiting for Dominic's next sentence.
Dominic ignored Tony's teasing, instead smiling complacently, adopting a posture he thought was "humble": "You know, some people are just that ignorant of the times. Even when they see absolute power, they still stubbornly commit crimes... Well, I guess that's their fate, they can't escape my grasp." He lightly tapped his palm, as if summarizing to himself, his eyes full of narcissistic pride.
Tony couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, with a "what the hell" expression, and said mockingly: "Alright, Dominic, you keep saving the World. Hopefully next time you won't even scare off us, the audience."
