"We need to get out of here Miss Brenda, we can't wait any longer," someone from the crowd spoke up as the others joined in agreement.
"Like I said , we are going to wait for a few minutes," Brenda insisted to the people who seemed more frustrated than ever.
"Minute! We have already waited for hours and they are still not here,"
"The vampire are already inside our borders, what if they have been attacked and we are just waiting to be attacked as well,"
"Besides Ambrose has said that if he didn't arrive on time then we can go,"
The crowd complaints made a fresh swell of rage to rise in Brenda.
"Can you all quit complaining," Brenda loud rage made everyone silent.
"The people you all want to leave behind is your Luna, her baby, Ambrose who is responsible for making sure you all leave here safely and the warrior who would place his life on the line for you all," her words made them feel guilty and full of regrets, Brenda heave a huge sigh after seeing how her words affected them.
"I understand we are all scared but please let's just wait a little more time and I promise you all that we are going to leave before the vampires get to us," Brenda urged as they all continued to wait.

"Give that baby to me," Sage growled as raw anger shot through Stefan.
"Can you stop this, you know father gave this assignment to me," Stephan hated the fact that Sage always tries to compete with him and make him look stupid in front of their father.
"But he didn't say that I can't interfere," Sage clapped back as Luna Catherine and Adam stared at them in confusion.
Seeing the way they were fighting over her daughter gave Catherine an idea, "Let pretend to play along with them," She whispered to Adam.
"How?" Adam whispered back clueless of what Catherine was up to, Catherine refuses to tell him, knowing that the vampires can hear things from afar and might hear it if she told him.
"Just play along," She whispered one last time and then stepped forward, standing in the middle of the vampire brothers.
"Seeing how weak and fragile you look, I think the guy name Stefan is the better man to take the child," Everyone was taken aback at what she said and they all stared at her with wide eyes.
Sage felt that his ego was being trampled on and began to rage "No, I'm better than him, so you better not make the wrong decision,"
"What is she up to?" Adam said to himself,looking more confused than ever.
"You think I don't know that you're trying to add fuel to the fire," Stefan stated not convince at the fact that she was willingly giving them her baby.
"What fuel is there to add, I was just stating the obvious," she said moving towards Stefan, she was happy when she saw that Sage was walking towards them.
"Why are you doing this," Stefan question Catherine who had an evil smirk on her face.
"I just feel like you're the better person to give the baby to," she stated, Stefan shakes his head in disappointed and stretched his hand to collect the baby but he noticed that Catherine was bolding her crying baby firmly, refusing to give her

"Luna please don't do what you're about to do," Adam advised with disappointment on his face, he thought that his Luna was about to give up her baby.
Sage brought out his sword and was about to attack Catherine from behind but Catherine could sense what he was about to do so she moved sideways and push Stefan towards him, Stefan immediately dulged before Sage sword could stab him.
"If you want to get a chance to my baby then fight your brother whose better than you," Sage eyes flashed in fury at Catherine last words.
"She's just trying to pit us against each other, I hope she hasn't gotten into...," Sage began to attack Stefan before he could complete his statement.
While the brothers were busy fighting, Catherine signal Adam and they fought the rest of vampires for their escape.
"Can you stop," Stefan said, turning Sage head so he could Catherine and the warrior escaping.
"They were just trying to pit us against each other so they could escape," Stefan tried to convince Sage who was unwilling to listen to him.
He flinged Stefan to another side, rushing towards him with a tightly folded fist and then hit him hard on the face which made Stefan to pass out.

Ambrose was happy when he saw Catherine was still holding her baby, the warrior was fighting of vampire that came close to them.
"Thanks to the moon goddess for keeping you all alive," Ambrose emitted with so much happiness.
"Now is not a time to be happy, they're still behind us and we need to move quickly before they get a hold of us again," Catherine cautioned in a rasped voice which was caused as a result from running too much, the others nodded in agreement and was about to start running when Catherine stopped them.
"We shouldn't take the route that the other pack members used, or we may endanger their lives," Catherine suggested
Adam's eyebrows raised with inquisitiveness "but which passage are we going to use,"
"I know another tunnel that could lead us to our escape, I already told the rest of the pack to leave if we stayed to long," Ambrose assures them.
"Good, let's go," Catherine urged as they continued their running.

Everyone was excited when they heard some footsteps coming towards them.
"Thank the moon goddess their back," they began to celebrate but it was cut short when they saw some vampires staring widely at them.
"No wonder why everywhere looks empty, so this is where they are all hiding," one of the vampires mocked, laughing loudly as the rest of the vampires joined.
They began attacking the pack members but Brenda and most of the skilled fought them off, killing each and everyone of vampires.
"I'm sorry to say, but I think that this is a sign for us to start going," one of the men who helped in killing the vampires suggested and everyone agreed to it.
"Fine, let start moving, we can't priorities the people anymore," she finally agreed, although she wasn't happy with the decision, she only hope that Catherine and the rest were all safe and will be able to make it to them.
The pack members quickly carried their belongings and followed Brenda as she lead the way out of their once peaceful lovely home.
