"Gather all the women and children, we need to get out of here," Ambrose ordered the men, some women were moaning over their husbands who had lost their lives in the battle and some were already with their bags waiting for the others, they were all hiding in a cold echoey secret tunnel that will lead them to their escape.
"How is the baby," Brenda inquired, using the back of her hands to feel the baby's temperature, they were part of the people who were waiting for others.
"She must have slept off due to the pain, I feel bad for hurting her," Catherine mumbled, looking at her baby with concern and pity.
"You did it for her own good," Brenda assured her with a wide smile.
"Where are we going to go Mother," curious Liam began with his unending questions.
"Are we going to live like rogues," Rebecca joined in, tilting her head and her eyes were wide with in curiosity.
"Our pack is more than that Rebecca," Brenda answered, afraid of what their next question will be.
"But Alpha Gaius and Dad won't be there so that means, we won't have an Alpha to lead us if Alpha Gaius won't come with us and my dad won't be there as well," Liam said as his tears came flowing down his eyes to reveal his sadness over the issue, he have been hearing scary things about rogues having to fight everyday, having to kill everyday and how having food and clean water was a difficulty.
"You'll have me who will lead us perfectly, your mom will also be there with your sister, the whole pack will be there, you'll be there as well and you'll grow up to be a perfect Beta just like your Dad," Queen Catherine assured him which brought a wide smile to his face she was happy that she could make him happy as well, Brenda gave Catherine a grateful smile for making Liam happy.
"I'll remember to be like my father when that day comes," Liam braced up himself, wiping his tears away.
"Always remember to be yourself first when you're being like your Daddy okay," Catherine instructed Liam and he nodded his head in obedient.
"He didn't even get to say goodbye to the kids," Brenda wailed silently to Catherine, who consoled her by patting her on the shoulders with her free hand, Ambrose voice broke off all emotions and they all went silent so as to hear what he has to say.
"We're about to head out before those scavengers comes in, I hope everyone is complete and no one forgot something, it's painful to say but if we leave this place it will be permanent," Ambrose statement sparked a bulb in her head as she bent down to check her items.
"What's wrong, I packed everything of yours and even added most of your husband own," Brenda told her but became worried that she might have actually forgotten something after seeing how worried Catherine was.
"It's the necklace my husband gave to my daughter, I need to get it, it's the only thing I can use to remind my daughter of her father," Catherine said in an uneasy tone, placing a hand on her forehead.
"Are you sure I didn't put it in your bag," Brenda inquired in a worried tone, she had packed a lot of thing, so she couldn't remember if she had carried such a thing, Catherine knew that Brenda didn't carry it because it was placed inside a hidden cupboard of her and her husband's bed stand.
"I'll be right back," she said, dashing back to the palace before Brenda could stop her.
After a while, the pack members were about to leave but Brenda stopped them,
"Please don't go yet," Brenda told them in a shuddered tone.
"What's wrong Brenda," Ambrose inquired worriedly, hoping that she hasn't forgotten anything.
"It's.... Luna Catherine she isn't here yet," her statement left the rest of the pack members in shock and they started blabbering to each other.
"But she was here a while ago," Ambrose stated remembering clearly that he had seen Luna Catherine a while ago.
"She left....to get something, she told me that she'll be right back but she isn't here yet," Brenda tried to explain.
"We'll wait for a few more minutes," Ambrose instructed before pointing at one of the pack warriors whose name was Adam.
"Go and check up on her and escort her back quickly," Ambrose ordered.
"Yes sire," Adam answered and left to do what he was instructed to do.

Catherine was grateful that she didn't come in contact with any vampire, she held her baby tightly and hurriedly got into the room heading straight to the cupboard and quickly brought the box that contains the jewelry she opened it to be sure that the necklace was really inside, wrapping it along with the baby into the blankets.
Just as she was about to leave when a group of vampires broke the door and storm into the room.
"Look who we got hear," one of the vampires stated with an egotistic sneer, as they began to charge towards her.
Catherine had learn a few things from her late father, who was one of the pack's best warrior, so she turned into a brown Golden Wolf holding unto the baby tightly and fought them off, biting and tearing each one of them to their dead, she turned back and quickly ran out of the room with her crying baby before another sets of vampire could spot her.
"Luna," Adam who had been sent by Ambrose finally saw her.
"We were waiting for you, we better hurry and join the rest," the guard said supporting Catherine so she could run faster.
The halted when they spotted a group of vampire in front of them and when they turned back, the was another group of vampires behind them as well.
"Hand over the baby to me," they saw a young vampire with brown caramel hair color walking towards them.
"No hand over the baby to me," another vampire said, walking towards them from the other side.
"Sage, what are you doing," the one with brown caramel hair spoke looking pissed off.
"Only I am worthy to destroy the baby Stefan," the one whose name was Sage started walking closer as well.

"It been hours and they haven't come back what if the vampire are attacking them," Brenda began to express her worries, biting her lip and was moving side to side.
The rest of the pack members and Ambrose were worried as well, Luna Catherine and the baby is the only family Alpha Gaius have left, "I can't just stay here while there are in danger," Ambrose said to himself, taking a deep breath as he made his final decision.
"Brenda, I'll go and check on them, if we don't arrive on time, make sure to lead the pack outside the borders," he instructed Brenda and she nodded her head in agreement before he left.
