I stared at this giant Draconian for a few moments before returning to my own meal, trying to regather my thoughts while also wondering if I was happy or very worried to see her so soon... because this was also another fascinatingly 'fun' character.
Primarily black scaled with a few orange highlights adorning her muscular frame, this Draconian embodied everything that made them such a mainstay on every battlefield all around the world; bulging with muscle, stoic, in control and commanding attention merely with her presence.
She herself wasn't from any particular Tribe that would warrant special treatment, but that was what made her all the more interesting since she was just that domineering and powerful thanks to a quirk of fate.
A prolific warrior and hopeful founder of a new Tribe, Kha'Miero was another 'Commoner' student who was here for a single reason; her combat potential was nowhere near being fully realized, and many different factions around the world wanted to recruit her for their future endeavors.
For her part she came here to escape from the more 'demanding' factions who hoped to strong-arm her into a decision, and by doing so she was unknowingly giving herself more of a boost than she had ever thought possible...
Anyways, now that I had a future War General and absolute beast on the battlefield sitting opposite of me - a beast in many, many different battlefields, mind you - I found it hard to think yet again, especially since I could only really think about how she acted in the game.
The things she did to the player on a regular basis already had me feeling warm inside, so when she finally spoke I thought I might just have to leap out of this seat and run away; her voice was deep and slightly raspy, and her pacing was slow and assured, demanding attention and ensuring you were listening.
"What has a pretty face like you sitting all alone, Miss..?"
Serious yet also quite the flirt, Kha'Miero continued to pull apart the bird on her plate with frightening ease, popping bones out of place and cracking them open so she could suck the marrow out; her fiery eyes landed on me for a brief moment before they fell back to her plate as she focused on eating first.
"N-Natalie..! My name is Natalie! Um... I'm... just a little... overwhelmed..?"
Trying to put up a competent facade in front of this giant Draconian was impossible - both because of her size but also because she was 'inhuman' - what with her serpentine head and predatory orange red eyes.
Sinking her fangs into the juicy breast she had just pulled off of the carcass in front of her, the Draconian stared at me again and studied my face before nodding slowly, savoring the meat and leaving me in a complicated spot.
This amount of attention from someone like her - both her race and who she was - had me feeling all sorts of things, and on top of that many others were looking over at us, whispering to one another as they gossiped about the talented Draconian that everyone knew about.
I was a Commoner who must have just barely gotten in while she was a 'Commoner' only because she hadn't created a name for herself just yet; the double standard was on display immediately, but that was what was to be expected from the Academy being open to practically everyone.
"Ignore them, Natalie. You wouldn't be here if you didn't deserve it, and who I sit with is my own choice. Kha'Miero is my name, by the way."
The matter of fact way she spoke was soothing, but I still felt a little worried about all the attention we were accruing, something she noticed immediately by how I was a squirming slightly because of it.
"Don't bother yourself with them, Natalie. What are you here for? Combat strategy, magic, art?"
Listing off three subjects back to back that all had nothing to do with actually being active or a 'threat' made me shrink a little, though considering I didn't have an athletic build nor did I have a lot of mana inside of myself I couldn't really blame her for that.
"Um... a little bit of everything, I suppose..? I don't... really have much of a plan right now, but I am hoping to learn as much as I can! And... I am taking some combat classes, Miss Kha'Miero..."
That got her to pause as she looked me up and down, her eyes tracing out my arms before making their way to my chest, where she paused for a little longer before returning to my face as she asked "Really..? Have you ever held a blade or bow before, Natalie?"
I blushed at that, both because her gaze flicked back down to my chest for a moment and because the disbelief in her tone made me somewhat embarrassed, though she spoke again before I could, suggesting something I wasn't really anticipating just yet.
"If not, I can give you some pointers... Going over the fundamentals again might be worthwhile."
Reminding myself that this was an Eroge world didn't make it any better since it was obvious that the Draconian was suggesting that with ulterior motives; motives that I had usually loved accepting when it was a game, but now that this was real...
Even still, she was an exceptional trainer and a very good ally to have, and on top of that... maybe it was something that Reincantra had done to me, but I was extremely horny right now, so with a stud of a futanari staring at me with 'hidden' desires I was feeling it deep in my core right now...
"M-Maybe... we can give it a try..?"
Her visage twisted slightly into a smirk as she nodded, giving me a location to find her before finishing her meal; I ate quicker and excused myself, knowing that being around her any longer might just be an issue while also wondering if I had 'folded' too easily on this.
I just needed to get away and actually have some time to think about being in a new world, so although I wasn't fully satiated I was very quick to leave the dining hall behind and start walking towards the location of the first item that was available to me.
