Kante was a strange tactical man who always got what he wanted, no matter the circumstances. He was cunning, elusive, and evasive; his tactical mind was beyond imagination, and that was what made him the invincible Snowflake he was today.
His invincibility was not because he had strange powers, nor because he was a good fighter. No — he was invincible because of his tactical mind.
That was why he was truly surprised when he first discovered that someone had managed to find out about him, only to later learn that it wasn't in any formal way.
Kante was raised with the mind of a killer. He had been taught how to kill since he was an infant, and he took his first life at the age of three. Growing up, he only learned three things:
First, how to speak — which was compulsory.
Second, how to kill.
And lastly, how to be tactical: how to find a way out no matter the circumstances, how to use any situation to his advantage.
That was how he was raised.
When he discovered that the old surgeon had transplanted a Connect's eye into him, he decided to use it to his advantage — and also buy himself some time by shaking off trouble.
His initial plan was to capture Uche and have all of his organs transplanted into his own body, partially making himself immortal. But after thinking it through, he realized he could also use Uche to solve his problem with the cops.
The cops had been on his trail for as long as he could remember, and they wouldn't stop until they caught him. The good thing was that they still had no idea who he really was — they didn't know his identity. So he decided to use Uche — the one person who might possibly uncover him — as bait. He would make it seem like Uche was Snowflake, let the cops arrest him, and walk away free.
But then he thought: if the cops took the Connect away, he wouldn't be able to use Uche's body for immortality. His mind reeled back to the organ-trafficking gang who had kidnapped the Connect in the first place. He decided to use them as pawns.
And that was how the convoy came to be ambushed.
He just hoped they would succeed.

Sergeant Kim's cry came a fraction of a second too late. The missile had already left the bazooka, streaking straight for the explosive-laden bus.
It tore through the air like an arrow shot from a divine bow. The missile slammed into the underside of the bus, hurling it toward the elite squad's convoy.
"Everyone, brace yourselves! It's an ambush!"
Sergeant Kim shouted into the radio, his voice shaky.
A loud thud followed as the missile detonated. The bus was sent flying, streaking past the first three vans at the front before crashing in the middle — right between the fourth and fifth vans.
For a moment, everyone held their breath. Then chaos erupted.
The bus exploded in an instant, engulfing the two closest vans in flames. The impact hurled the last two vans at the rear backward, flipping them over until they skidded across the hard surface of the road.
"Ambush!! We are under attack! Everyone, regroup!"
Sergeant Kim shouted as he glanced back at the raging inferno behind him, which had swallowed two out of the seven vans in the convoy.
Before he could say anything else, another thud echoed — and when he looked up, Sergeant Kim saw another missile screaming straight at them, aimed at the van at the very front.
"Take cover!!!"
He shouted. The quicker ones dove out just in time before the missile struck the van from below, sending it flying back. It crashed down directly on top of the third van — the very one where Uche had been locked inside — crushing it instantly.
"Everyone, regroup!"
Sergeant Kim shouted again as he sprinted back to the second van, the only one left untouched. Several surviving officers quickly huddled behind it, trying to assess the situation.
Half of the elite squad had been wiped out in an instant. They knew their chances of survival were slim, but they needed to evaluate the situation before making a move.
Looking ahead, they saw countless figures in black clothing slowly emerging from the shadows, joining the large man who had fired the missile earlier.
"This is a bloody ambush. They're here for Snowflake."
Inspector Ray said, his voice trembling — whether from fear or rage, Sergeant Kim couldn't tell.
"Squad 6, do you copy? Squad 7, copy?"
Sergeant Kim called out several times, throwing a quick glance at the raging inferno that had completely incinerated two vans.
"Squads 4 and 5 are down. We got no reply from squads 6 and 7. We need a damn backup — call for backup now!"
Inspector Ray yelled at Sergeant Kim as countless bullets began hammering the van they had taken cover behind.
