Chapter 30 - Ch.30

Tokai Teio's touch felt even better than before. Her body was fragrant, and her waist had become softer.

After solving the second problem, Luo Cheng took the glowing Tokai Teio to train, first with her regular training shoes, and then with her new race shoes. There was a 0.6-second difference in their training times. Luo Cheng didn't know if the effect would be the same in the real world, but in this game world, a single item had indeed brought a tangible improvement to Teio. Could there be even more powerful items in the future that could make Teio's speed soar?

Regardless, Luo Cheng was going to be careful. He would buy more real-world items, whether they were food or sports equipment, to improve the horse girls' abilities. This would give his training a bigger margin for error. Luo Cheng couldn't guarantee that every training session he planned was perfectly reasonable, and every race required different stats.

Some horse girls were harder to train than others. In the game, Tokai Teio was pretty average. Unlike horse girls where you could just spam the speed button, her stats needed to be balanced. Speed, stamina, and intelligence were very important for Tokai Teio. He had to raise these stats to a high level to win races. Right now, Luo Cheng's training was too balanced; the stats were all average with no standout features.

"Trainer~"

While Luo Cheng was recording the stat changes in his notebook, Teio leaned over and rubbed her head against him, her cute ears twitching. A game character didn't have a human mind, but Teio's affectionate gestures clearly went beyond the system. Yet, they weren't exactly human. When Luo Cheng tried to talk to her, he only got the same fixed lines.

Teio, do you have any special events for me to trigger?

Luo Cheng started to miss that world again.

He patted Teio and told her to go play, then went to find Seiun Sky. She was probably sleeping in a field somewhere, as usual. As expected, he found a leisurely Seiun Sky lying in the grass next to the training field. Her clothes had slipped up while she was sleeping, revealing her fair stomach and a cute belly button.

Luo Cheng walked over and touched her stomach. It felt like a soft sponge with the texture of white jade, and he couldn't help but keep touching it.

Seiun Sky opened her eyes when Luo Cheng touched her. Her sky-blue eyes looked at him, and then she closed them again. This girl... where were her fixed lines? What about the training task for today? It was all lost to sleep!

Just as Luo Cheng was about to play with Seiun Sky more, he noticed a new option on her status bar.

"Change Outfit?"

Luo Cheng had never seen this on any other horse girl. Only Seiun Sky had a new button on her UI. Luo Cheng reached out and tapped it, and a message popped up.

[Currently obtained: Apron]

Luo Cheng remembered the pop-up when Seiun Sky wore the apron. It seemed to have unlocked an outfit. He tapped on the apron, his vision flashed blue for a second, and he looked down to find that the sleeping Seiun Sky was now wearing an apron. He could actually change her outfits! This was very much like a game. You could change a character's outfits in the Umamusume mobile game.

But he wished he could change her outfits in the real world. Luo Cheng was curious to see their expressions if their clothes suddenly changed. What he was doing now would probably be erased from their memory. Maybe they were living in a completely different world from his.

Luo Cheng looked at Seiun Sky on the ground. He pulled her clothes down to cover her stomach. Just as he was about to leave, his foot was caught by a small hand. Seiun Sky had silently wrapped her arms around his leg and was hugging it like a pillow. Her behavior had also changed a little from before.

You weren't even sleeping, were you!

If Luo Cheng's body wasn't already drained from the workout with Teio, he would have punished her.

Seiun Sky's ears twitched lazily. Influenced by her, Luo Cheng decided to take a break too.

"Sky, did you get teleported back with me too?" Luo Cheng lay down beside her. "In your memory, how did we come back?"

Seiun Sky didn't answer. She buried her head in Luo Cheng's chest and fell asleep peacefully.

"It must be so nice to not have to think about anything. Maybe I should be like you and just sleep all day..." Luo Cheng hugged the girl's soft body, inhaling the relaxing scent of her hair, and closed his eyes.

But just as he fell asleep, Tokai Teio suddenly appeared next to him and picked him up.

"Teio?"

Her azure eyes reflected Luo Cheng's face. She was acting as if she were carrying out an order, taking Luo Cheng away from Seiun Sky.

"Yes, I did give that order! But you can at least let me stay there once! Can't you just let me sleep with Sky for a bit?"

Tokai Teio was unmoved.

"Three times! From now on, you get three chances. After I've slept next to her three times, you can take me away. Got it?" Luo Cheng adjusted his command. Tokai Teio put him down and nodded, "Yes."

After being jostled by Tokai Teio, Luo Cheng was no longer sleepy. Here he was, a man of nearly six feet, being carried at a rapid speed by a little filly who only reached his chest. Horse girls were truly terrifying.

"Trainer."

"Woah!"

The sudden voice startled Luo Cheng. He turned around and saw the black-haired, golden-eyed girl, Manhattan Cafe.

"It's Cafe," Luo Cheng said with a sigh of relief. Why did she appear without making any sound?

"What is... today's training task?" Cafe asked slowly.

That's right, you're my horse girl now, too.

"I still need to plan it... Huh?"

Luo Cheng noticed that after Cafe appeared, Tokai Teio's mood was visibly dropping, losing one point at a time. It quickly went from [Excellent] to [Extremely poor mood], and her ears drooped listlessly.

What is this...? Did something happen between Teio and Cafe in the real world that's affecting the game?

This connection even affected the system's judgment. Not just the training relationship, but other things from reality could also affect the game. But unlike with Teio, Cafe's mood remained unchanged at [Good mood]. This might have something to do with Cafe's personality. She was not easily affected by others' attitudes; she was used to being criticized, so she had a great mindset. Teio, on the other hand, had a childish personality and was very easily angered.

Luo Cheng could already imagine Teio hugging him and pouting at Cafe.

"How about... I get you two something good to eat?"
