Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Key in Hand

Lucas didn't know or care about what was happening elsewhere; he had already entered Theresa's bedroom.

The room, full of a girlish aura, was not messy; there were no famous scenes of clothes and socks thrown everywhere.

Sniffing the faint fragrance in the air.

Lucas walked towards the pink large bed.

In the previous reincarnation, he had already found where the hyperion's key was located; now he just needed to take it, and everything would be accomplished.

As for what would happen if he took the key.

Lucas was not clear about that.

It might trigger certain events and attract Theresa.

But that was another matter.

Lucas didn't care about that now. He walked to the pink large bed and reached out to grab the yellow Homu plushie on the bed.

The hyperion's key was hidden inside.

He unzipped the hidden zipper on the back of the yellow Homu plushie.

Lucas took out a rectangular black gadget from inside.

This was the hyperion's key, made entirely of soul steel, with various strange patterns engraved on its edges.

He had seen the key when he spent time alone with Theresa.

At this moment, he was also extremely certain.

This was what he was looking for.

He zipped the zipper back up and put the yellow Homu plushie back in its original position.

Two minutes.

Lucas only used less than thirty seconds to get the key, which was thanks to his efforts in previous reincarnations.

Otherwise, it wouldn't have been so easy to complete the task.

He left Theresa's bedroom with the Hyperion's Key.

A giant yellow Homu stood in the hallway.

Since the room lights were off, all light came from outside, and Lucas took a glance in the dim light.

Theresa, wearing a pink dress, was still at the door, savoring bitter melon juice.

The petite figure with silver hair and blue eyes drank directly from the bottle, and gurgling sounds often echoed.

The Headmaster's attention was completely captivated by the bitter melon juice.

Unless he ran behind her and started dancing, the probability of being discovered was extremely small.

"I really don't know why this guy likes bitter melon juice."

Lucas couldn't help but inwardly complain.

What was even more worth complaining about was that Theresa could get drunk from drinking bitter melon juice.

The first time he learned about this.

Lucas felt as if his worldview had been impacted.

After all, such a thing was somewhat incredible.

Perhaps it was due to her body being different from ordinary people.

Theresa was a clone created by Otto using the genes of an Emperor-class Honkai Beast and Kallen's genes.

After a brief thought, he didn't linger and slipped into another bedroom, waiting quietly; he had to wait for half an hour before he could leave.

The Faculty Dormitory was different from the Valkyrie Dormitory.

Although there were sewage pipes on the walls, their number was greatly reduced, and they were scattered.

Unlike the Valkyrie Dormitory, where they were all clustered together.

This made the few sewage pipes difficult to climb.

If Lucas dared to invade the Faculty Dormitory by climbing the sewage pipes.

He might not break his leg, but he would definitely fall hard.

Moreover, the Faculty Dormitory.

It was not suitable for prolonged climbing.

The lighting was too bright...

If he climbed for too long, Lucas could easily be seen by the Night Valkyries... They might ignore a bedsheet fluttering in the air, but they would definitely not ignore a certain bystander.

Two bottles of bitter melon juice were quickly finished by the giggling Theresa.

"Burp..."

Theresa let out an ungraceful burp.

It seemed she was full.

The door closed, and light footsteps entered his ears.

"Hm hm hm, the Headmaster's luck is really good; just opening the door casually and picking up two bottles of bitter melon juice."

"Is today some kind of lucky day?"

"It's just that I accidentally drank too much, and I feel a little dizzy..."

Theresa mumbled as she returned to her bedroom.

I have to say.

Theresa's voice was sweet and pleasant to listen to.

But unfortunately, hidden beneath this beautiful voice...

Was an endless abyss.

With the second sound of the door, Lucas's heart instantly tightened; now that Theresa had returned to her bedroom, would she discover that the Key had been stolen?

If she noticed, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Lucas clenched his fists, silently praying in his heart that no accident would occur.

Time passed bit by bit, and after Theresa returned to her room, there was no more movement; the worst outcome did not happen.

He checked the time on his watch multiple times.

5:16 AM.

Lucas clutched the Key, took off his yellow Homu uniform, and prepared to leave.

He slowly opened the door.

His gaze peered through the crack in the door, observing his surroundings.

"After two bottles of bitter melon juice, Theresa should be drunk and asleep by now."

Even so, Lucas did not relax his guard; he pushed open the door, quietly moved his legs, and walked towards the main entrance.

As for returning to the rooftop via the bedsheet.

That was indeed an option, but Lucas didn't want to do that.

After all...

Even if there were no Valkyries on the rooftop now, the Night Valkyrie who chased him behind the security door had most likely not left; it was highly possible that she was still crouching by the door, or even more than one.

Going straight up from the front now would definitely not be good.

Lucas had been to Theresa's house many times and was as familiar with it as his own home.

Finding the main door was a very simple matter.

As the security door opened and closed.

Lucas quietly left with the Hyperion's Key.

Walking to the staircase on the third floor, the Night Valkyrie who should have been guarding the area was nowhere to be seen.

Lucas had no intention of exploring; he walked directly downstairs, preparing to leave the Faculty Dormitory.

As for the bedsheet tied to the rooftop?

It didn't matter.

When the next day arrived, that bedsheet would permanently disappear.

The premise was that Lucas returned to his own dormitory to meet that special time node.

No matter what happened at night.

Under normal circumstances of welcoming the next day, all abnormalities would be erased, and the unreasonable would become reasonable.

This was the terrifying aspect of the Inner World.

Shaking his head lightly, Lucas walked down the stairs; there were no footsteps from the second floor, perhaps all the Night Valkyries in this Faculty Dormitory had gathered at the rooftop entrance.

Or they might have climbed onto the rooftop.

For example, the blonde, blue-eyed Valkyrie on the first floor who crawled on all fours... She could walk on the wall like a gecko, a scene that would often be seen a month later.

But now...

It hadn't reached that level of chaos yet, so it was naturally hard to see.

"How on earth can I clear this bizarre Inner World..." Lucas muttered to himself as he safely left the Faculty Dormitory. "This damn system only tells me this is the St. Freya Academy (Reverse World Version) and doesn't help at all. I've read novels for so many years, and I've never seen one so useless. Couldn't you even give a mission without rewards?"

Chapter 33 Teacher Möbius

Lucas picked up supper at the Faculty Dormitory entrance, and his journey home was uneventful.

As the clock struck six.

A new day dawned.

...

"Lucas, have you found group members? How about joining our group? We just happen to be short one person."

A pretty Valkyrie with short black hair enthusiastically invited him.

This morning was still theoretical classes for various subjects.

The first class was biology.

Everyone in the class had now arrived at the biology laboratory in the teaching building.

Teacher Möbius was going to give everyone a vivid dissection class, and she had specially prepared more than twenty frogs as experimental subjects.

The number of Valkyries in the class was far greater than that.

Everyone could only form groups of three.

Next to the black-haired Valkyrie was another Valkyrie with long orange-yellow hair tied into twin tails; she looked at Lucas nervously, afraid of being rejected.

"Then let's team up."

Lucas nodded in agreement.

As time passed, as the only male student at St. Freya Academy, he would receive more and more attention.

Both students and teachers would flock to him like moths to a flame.

During the day, Lucas had to manage these relationships well.

After all...

One wrong step would lead to eternal damnation.

Lucas had to be like a central air conditioner, neither cold nor hot, treating every Valkyrie equally; even if he already had a distinction between yandere and Night Valkyries in his heart, he still couldn't show it.

For a man who had maxed out his acting skills, this was not difficult.

Receiving an affirmative answer.

The two Valkyries cheered.

Lucas just smiled and said nothing.

Raiden Mei, who was originally saying something to Kiana, noticed the commotion here; she turned her head to glance, then retracted her gaze. Just as she was about to speak, she was interrupted by someone.

"Mei, Bronya said she wants to be in a group with Seele, so who should we find then..."

Kiana rested her chin on one hand, revealing a troubled expression.

Raiden Mei smiled gently: "Anyway, you're popular, just look around, there's always someone who hasn't teamed up yet. Wait… Our class now has a total of forty-one girls… Um, forty-one students. If we group in threes, there will be one group with only two people."

"It's fine even if we don't look for anyone."

"Oh, why didn't I think of that?" Kiana's eyes lit up. "Mei, you're so smart."

The Paramecium instantly turned around, a smirk on her lips, thinking: "In that case, wouldn't Mei belong only to me? Ah hahaha! I'm truly a genius!"

Lucas silently watched Kiana and Raiden Mei.

No matter how he looked at it, the Valkyries of day and night could not be linked.

It gave him a strange sense of dissociation.

Even after ninety-nine reincarnations, Lucas still couldn't get used to it.

In fact...

Every reincarnation, as long as he lived to the next day, he could almost always see and hear such conversations.

Lucas was already a bit numb.

"If I'm not mistaken, Mobius is coming to find me next."

This thought had just flashed through his mind.
