Chapter 1 - Damn… Genshin?!

In the midst of dying, he jolted awake—

only to realize the one who had transmigrated… was himself.

Right beside the Statue of The Seven at Starfell Lake in Mondstadt,

a handsome young man — the kind of handsome that outshines even his own readers — suddenly sat up in shock.

He looked around at the familiar scenery, then at the Idle-Pose Archon Statue beside him, lost in thought.

What the— Genshin?!"

"I was playing Honkai: Star Rail… so why did I transmigrate into Teyvat?!"

Jiang Chen stared blankly at the giant statue, the enlarged terrain, the lake beside him.

He knew this place far too well — wasn't this the exact lake where he always jumped down to catch fish whenever he passed by?

The lotus blooms by the shore were even dotted with ripe Dendrobium Lotus waiting to be picked.

He quickly pressed a hand on the statue and stood up.

Transmigrating directly onto a Statue of The Seven… he didn't even know what to say.

But the moment he rose to his feet, a sharp sting shot through his right hand as it brushed the statue—

Ding…

"Huh?"

"A system?"

The classic ding → power-up → protagonist takes off sequence—

He heard it! It was happening!

But instead of a voice, a translucent panel unfolded in front of him.

Data loading…

Initializing template…

Seeing the progress bar, Jiang Chen's eyes lit up.

Obtained Spirit Foundation: Karna.

Beginning fusion…

The instant those lines appeared, something surged through his body.

A scorching wave of mana flooded every inch of him.

His vision blurred — and for a brief moment, he seemed to see the radiant son of Surya from Indian myth.

At the same time, his originally black hair slowly faded into snow-white.

Information poured into his mind without mercy.

The pain knocked him straight to his knees — and he collapsed again.

Along with the agony, terrifying strength awakened within his limbs.

Just from that momentary surge, Jiang Chen felt like a single sneeze could vaporize his former self.

"This… this is Karna's power?"

Muttering, he willed his power, and lightning gathered into shape—

a long spear materialized in his hand.

Well… a "spear," though honestly, it looked more like a massive greatsword.

As he gripped the hilt and channeled mana through it, power shot up the shaft,

and the tip expanded outward—

forming twin blades.

The Vasavi Shakti — the Immortal Blade.

And if he willed it, the weapon could shift into any form:

a spear, a bow, a flying weapon, even armor.

It morphed entirely based on his needs.

After all, Karna could manifest several classes.

Naturally, a true Noble Phantasm would follow the same rules.

And inside this so-called immortal blade rested terrifying authority—

even the EX-rank anti-god effect, the kind that guaranteed destruction.

"So… am I already invincible?"

The power surging in him was overwhelming.

Honestly, Jiang Chen felt a little disappointed.

Invincible… way too fast.

He didn't even get to enjoy the usual growth arc —

just bam, instant max level.

With a thought, the weapon dissolved into radiant fragments

and reformed as armor on his body—

Karna's signature divine armor.

"Hmm…

This doesn't look great. Change."

He adjusted the armor according to his own aesthetic.

After some tinkering, he learned it could shift into literally anything he imagined.

Well then — may as well replace his casual clothes.

He wasn't planning to walk around Teyvat wearing weird mythic armor anyway.

Once satisfied, Jiang Chen noticed another feature:

a personal storage space.

He could store anything inside…

except the Noble Phantasm, which existed fused within his own body.

Aside from that, the system did nothing else.

"This system's kinda weak, no?"

"That's it?"

"No quests? No guidance?"

"Just a template and an inventory bag?"

"Hello?? Anything else?"

He stared at the pathetic little system window, confused.

His eyes drifted to the Statue of The Seven.

Was he supposed to explore Teyvat and unlock statues like Lumine?

"Look! A Statue of The Seven up ahead!"

"Wait— there's someone there too!"

A voice he knew far too well echoed across the lake.

Wasn't that… Paimon?

He turned—and sure enough, on the opposite shore stood a golden-haired traveler and a tiny floating white-haired girl staring back at him.

Lumine and Paimon.

So this was literally the beginning of the main storyline.

The moment Paimon noticed him, she lit up like fireworks.

"Waaah!!

So handsome!!"

"Is this what they call reader-level handsome?!"

"Lumine, Lumine, look!! He's soooo handsome!"

Even Paimon was stunned by his looks.

Lumine glanced at him as well—

and silently agreed.

Very handsome.

"Hello!"

Despite being shocked inside, Jiang Chen still waved politely.

Hearing him speak, the two froze for a moment.

Then Lumine took a few steps back—

and suddenly burst forward, leaping clean across the lake.

Paimon yelped and zoomed after her.

Starfell Lake wasn't huge, and Lumine's physical abilities were still monstrous even while sealed.

She landed heavily with a thud, nearly stumbling, but managed to steady herself.

"Hello," she greeted.

Jiang Chen couldn't help but laugh at how bold she was.

"Lumine!! That was so dangerous!!"

"What if you fell into the lake?!"

Paimon hovered over, nagging like a worried mother.

Lumine rolled her eyes.

"Then should I swim over instead?"

What was she supposed to do, strip down and swim across?

Paimon opened her mouth—

and closed it.

…Fair point.

Dropping the topic, she turned to Jiang Chen.

"Hello! I'm Paimon, and this is Lumine!

What should we call you?"

"Jiang Chen."

Paimon blinked.

"Huh? Is that a Liyue name?"
