Chapter 17 - Ding'[Urgent Quest: Kill Your Enemies 0/30]

The Left Guardian's disciple, Soren Valerian, realizing their intentions, burst into anger and kicked the carriage door open.

Then he jumped down, unsheathed his sword, and shouted,

"How dare you bare your fangs at your master!"

In response the escort leader feigned ignorance and said, "What are you talking about?"

"Don't pretend after exuding killing intent." The Left Guardian's disciple unleashed his aura and took a sword stance.

"Oho.. It seems we have to work on our killing intent." The escort leader said, as a twisted smile spread across his face.

Seeing his twisted smile, the Left Guardian's disciple, Soren Valerian, frowned.

Meanwhile , Lina, who was sitting beside Gray inside the carriage, showed a worried expression.

From her perspective, Gray was at Sword Expert mid stage, while the Left Guardian's disciple was at best Sword Master low stage. Thus, it was disadvantageous to fight against the thirty escort warriors.

I need to use That and let young master escape, Lina thought.

With the help of the Left Guardian's disciple and a skill she possessed, they could stall for time while Gray escaped.

Thus, after collecting her thoughts, she turned to Gray and said,

"Young master, while we stall for time, escape."

"Hmm??"

She then jumped from the carriage and stood beside the Left Guardian's disciple.

Seeing her unexpected action, Gray became confused. He was strong enough to kill everyone present here, but was just observing, curious to see how the Left Guardian's disciple would handle the situation.

But Lina had misjudged and jumped in, thinking of sacrificing herself.

"Haa…" Gray sighed, as a strange emotion stirred within him.

Then Gray was about to step down from the carriage to stop her, but just then a system window appeared before his eyes

Ding'

[Urgent Quest]

[Kill Your Enemies]

[There are enemies nearby that intend to kill you. Kill everyone and ensure your safety.]

[Additional Reward:If you kill everyone yourself, you will be rewarded with '1 Vitality'.]

[Number of enemies you have to kill: 0/30]

[Failure: Death]

Seeing the urgent quest, a glint appeared in Gray's eyes. 'Kill everyone myself…'

He had been planning to stop Lina and then observe the Left Guardian's disciple, but after seeing the urgent quest, he now needed to change his approach.

Moreover, The reward for killing everyone himself was 1 Vitality.

It's a stat related to his Manhood. This stat increases his Manhood's vitality, making it stronger and healthier.

Although Gray had made many drugs that helped him with vitality, the system's Vitality was on another level.

Currently, he has 1 Vitality stat, which he got after she grabbed Lina's backside, and it has made his Manhood unimaginably healthier.

Thus, feeling tempted, Gray came down from the carriage to complete the urgent quest.

At the same time, Left Guardian's disciple Soren Valerian and Lina were signaling each other that they had to stall for time. Moreover, since the warriors were surrounding them, they had to create chaos so a path would open and Gray could escape.

Thus, both of them were about to launch at the escort warriors, but just then they heard a thudding sound coming from behind.

Both of them turned back and saw Gray walking toward them.

Confused, Lina said, "Young master, stay in the carriage."

Just then, Gray's figure blurred before disappearing.

Both of their eyes went wide at his movement technique, and they sensed someone passing by. So, they hurriedly looked behind and saw Gray face to face with the escort leader.

Even the escort leader was taken aback by the sudden movement technique and jumped backward to create distance.

But before he could properly create distance, he saw fingers flying in front of his eyes.

Thudd…

After he landed, he looked at the fingers that were flying, now on the ground. Seeing the fingers, for some reason, he felt a sting in his hand.

He quickly raised both hands to confirm his thoughts, and, as expected, he saw the unexpected.

In his left hand, there were no fingers, only blood gushing out.

"Aaaaaaakkkkkkkkkkkk!" He let out a groan and fell to the ground on one knee while holding his injured hand.

"Ughhh. You bastard." He looked at Gray with anger-filled eyes.

Witnessing this, the warriors were dumbfounded. They had just seen Gray appear in front of the escort leader and remain perfectly still. Yet, the escort leader's fingers were cut off.

How?

No one saw Gray swing a sword either. No… he shouldn't have had a sword to begin with. Even when he came down from the carriage, he had no weapons on him.

But unexpectedly, Gray was standing in front of the escort leader with a long sword in his hand.

Just how?

As the warriors were puzzled, the Left Guardian's disciple and Lina were surprised. They saw something astonishing.

Particles gathered in Gray's hand, and then they shaped into a long sword.

It was truly astonishing.

'Did he use summoning magic?' they thought, but shook their heads, as it was different. There wasn't any magic circle, and magic summoning doesn't showcase like particles forming.

It was something else.

As they were wondering, just then the escort leader shouted at the warriors,

"What are you fools doing? Kill this motherfker!"

At his cry, the warriors regained their composure and rushed at Gray.

"Kill him!"

"Aaaaaa… Kill…"

As they rushed in, Gray swung his sword in a simple way.

Slash slash slash.

"Eugh…"

"Aaghgg…"

Though the sword strikes were simple, they were strong enough that the approaching warriors had their body parts cut off simultaneously.

He began by severing both hands holding weapons, then cut through both legs, leaving the torsos to let the injured enemies die slowly instead of killing them instantly.

Chaaak! Gush!

The splashes of crimson blood scattered across Gray's face, as he smiled in an eerie way.

Meanwhile, the escort leader couldn't believe what he was witnessing right in front of his eyes.

Every split second, screams of warriors echoed, accompanied by the splashes of blood scattered all around the ground. Moreover, he wasn't killing them outright but leaving them to die slowly.

It was truly a horrifying sight.
