Chapter 41 - Morgan's Lessons in Dual Cultivation

CRACK—BOOM—

CRACK—BOOM—

Lightning flashed across the skies of Britain.

The rain poured down in torrents.

Rainwater flowed through the streets and alleys, shrouding everything in a haze.

"This kind of rain again..."

Standing by the window, Morgan gazed at Camelot in the rain, her lips moving slightly.

She could feel a deep unease in her heart.

Tiamat would absolutely not let this go so easily.

This rain, perhaps, was the beginning of a disaster.

With a thud.

Morgan turned her head to find that Ian had already taken her room door off its hinges.

After coming in, he put it back on.

"I'm here."

"You—"

Morgan placed her hands on her hips.

"Can't you just come in normally?"

"..."

Ian glanced back at the door behind him.

"Isn't this normal?"

"I came in, and the door isn't broken."

"..."

Knowing it was impossible to reason with Ian on such matters, Morgan very directly changed the subject.

"Do you still remember how to help Artoria?"

"Become a knight."

Ian answered without a shred of hesitation.

"You sure remember the things you need to do for her so clearly."

Morgan said with some dissatisfaction.

But the moment the words left her mouth, she felt a wave of warmth.

Coming back to her senses, Morgan quickly realized Ian had hugged her.

"What are you doing..."

"I remember the things you like, too."

"So, teach me—"

Ian's hand slid down from Morgan's waist, stopping at a certain opportune place.

"You rascal..."

Morgan glanced back at the hand behind her, an interested expression on her face.

Her own hand patted his cheek gently.

"Who taught you to do this?"

"Artoria?"

"No," Ian shook his head.

"I just wanted to do it myself."

"Then why don't you go inside every time I let you?" Morgan asked again. "You're already bold enough to touch this place."

"I don't want to do that for now."

"When I do want to, I will definitely come to you, Your Highness."

"You really are..."

Morgan looked at him, feeling a mixture of love and hate.

"Fine,"

"I'll punish you when that time comes—"

"This time, there is something more important to do."

A few minutes later.

Morgan stood before the mirror.

And behind her was Ian, holding her in an embrace.

"Now, just like before."

The moment Morgan's words fell, a pair of hands slipped inside her clothes from the sides.

And then, came an action that was hard to tell if it was skilled or simply instinctual.

Morgan's cheeks quickly turned red.

However, that was not the focus of today's lesson.

Enduring the tingling, numbing feeling of comfort, Morgan looked at him in the mirror and continued to speak.

"Do you feel any kind of impulse—"

"Yes."

"That is your magical energy flowing."

Morgan temporarily held Ian's two hands, speaking like a teacher.

"Ian, the reason you suddenly change back into a dragon is because of this."

"Control it, become its master!"

Although she knew she was training a knight for Artoria, Morgan was still teaching Ian with the utmost seriousness.

"Only in this way can you truly make good use of that power."

"..."

Hot air escaped faintly from Ian's mouth.

Pressed against him, Morgan quickly felt the change in his body temperature.

"It's difficult, isn't it?"

"But, Ian—"

"You must do it."

"Be your own master, control it."

As Morgan said this, she soon released Ian's hands and began to do something else.

In the mirror, something bright and dazzling was revealed in a pair.

"Don't stop your hands."

"And then—"

"Continue to work hard."

This was Morgan's sacrifice.

He said he wanted to become a knight—

Then let him use her as a practice subject.

Tiamat was so powerful; if Ian was truly her son, he would absolutely not be weak.

He just... lacked control!

Listening to the gradually heavying panting next to her ear, Morgan bit her lip.

She was by no means frigid.

With someone who so perfectly suited her tastes doing this right beside her ear, it was naturally impossible not to have a reaction.

But...

She couldn't make a sound.

Otherwise, it would just turn into the same indulgence as before.

Honestly.

After this is over, I must make this guy repay me properly.

Morgan closed her eyes, letting Ian use her to practice controlling his instincts.

Her legs were clamped tightly together, trembling from time to time.

This was perhaps the first time in her life she had willingly put herself in such a state for someone.

"I want a bite—"

"Not allowed."

"Practice properly."

"Once you've mastered it, you can have whatever you want to eat."

Replying in a daze, Morgan exhaled softly.

She was completely unaware of how comfortable she was, until she fell asleep entirely.

An unknown amount of time passed.

Morgan woke up.

She found that she had, at some point, fallen asleep on the bed.

"No, wait!" she reacted immediately.

"Ian!"

"Where are you?!"

"What's wrong?"

The boy turned his head from the window.

"What are you doing!"

"Why didn't you continue!" Morgan, lying on the bed, demanded.

"Because you fell asleep."

"..."

Morgan's face reddened, looking a little embarrassed.

She knew this was actually a trial for them both.

But she didn't expect to be the one to fall first.

"Well, I'm awake now. We can continue."

"That probably won't be necessary."

Ian turned back to look at the rain outside the window.

"I feel like..."

"I think I understand how it works now."

The boy turned his head to look at the sky and clenched his fist.

A blood-red color flashed in his pupils.

Something miraculous happened.

The sky, which had just been thundering and flashing with lightning, surprisingly began to clear up.

In just a moment, sunny skies returned to Camelot.

A ray of sunlight pierced through the clouds and shone into Morgan's room.

"Is this it?"

Ian turned his head and asked his 'teacher'.

Feeling the waves of magical energy emanating from the boy, the corners of Morgan's mouth turned up slightly.

"More or less."

"But, you can still become much stronger."

"Shall we try again?"

"This time, let's try a more stimulating environment."

Morgan said this, preparing to sacrifice a little more of herself.

"..."

But Ian glanced at the clear sky outside and shook his head.

"No."

"I want to do something else right now."

"What is it?"

"The weather has cleared up."

The boy said this, pointing to the sky outside.

"Big Sister Morgan, let's go for a walk."

"Mm... like what they call a 'date'—"

"Eh?"
