Synopsis
At a Pokémon research seminar, a group of professors confront Professor Oak! Professor Elm: "Professor, how on earth did your grandson Silas teach Charizard to use Thunderbolt?" Professor Rowan urgently interjects: "Thunderbolt? What the hell! The real issue is how he made a Grass-type Pokémon use various Fire-type moves, right?" Professor Juniper: "Everyone, please calm down! Let Professor Oak sit first. This seminar was meant to discuss Silas's Pokémon anyway—" Professor Birch suddenly bursts in, shouting desperately: "Enough of this damn discussion!" He turns to Professor Oak, looking devastated: "Professor Oak, stop your grandson NOW! He’s fighting Rayquaza with his Charizard! They’re tearing each other apart—the Sky Pillar is about to collapse!!!"

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Promise

Pallet Town.

Professor Oak's Laboratory.

Has it really been ten years since I entered this world?

Silas, whose striking resemblance to Gary matched his dark casual outfit, stared intently at the Poké Ball resting in front of him. A wave of nostalgia washed over him, conjuring memories of a lifetime long past.

"Silas…" Professor Oak's voice broke the stillness, his gaze lost in the depths of the night outside. "Please, don't deny our support. My family crafted these Master Balls—the technology is unlike any traditional Poké Ball. The data from caught Pokémon goes directly to me, bypassing the League's scrutiny. This gives you a significant advantage against the Champions and Elite Four."

He continued, "As for the bank card and the Elite Four badge... They will shield you from needless distractions, allowing you to concentrate solely on your training. Our lineage has produced Elite Four challengers and esteemed researchers, yet we've never had a Champion. While that title holds little significance for us, in Kanto—a region devoid of a native Champion—it represents a deep-seated tragedy for our land and its people."

The weight of the professor's words was palpable, revealing a vulnerability Silas had never witnessed before. It left an unexpected sting in his heart.

To Silas, Professor Oak was more than just a mentor; he was family. In matters of life and research, the professor had always prioritized his well-being. Faced with such a profound request, refusing felt impossible.

"Grandpa." Silas placed a reassuring hand on Professor Oak's shoulder, determination radiating from his gaze. "In three years, I will claim the Kanto Championship. Within six, every League will acknowledge Kanto's supremacy."

"Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!"

Professor Oak's eyes sparkled with joy. He had been aware of Silas' unique disposition—his world revolved around Pokémon and family, leaving little room for anything else. Yet, Silas' ambitious promise, irrespective of its feasibility, brought the professor an unparalleled solace.

Most importantly, Professor Oak knew Silas well: when he professed intentions, he poured every ounce of his being into achieving them.

"Ah, yes!" In his newfound cheer, Professor Oak seemed to remember something. "Are you certain about accepting the Pikachu that the League recently sent?"

"Yes." Silas nodded, a hint of excitement glinting in his eyes.

"Very well." The professor rose and made his way toward the exit. "I'll notify the League officials. I'm not sure what draws you to that Pikachu, but since this is your first request for a second Pokémon, your grandpa will gladly support you."

Thank you, Silas thought silently as Professor Oak exited the room. Once alone, he narrowed his eyes and summoned the Elemental System that had been his guiding light since entering this world.
