Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Escaped Sun

"Xavier, hurry up and open the door for this old woman!"

"If you don't open the door, this old woman will use the spare key to get in!"

Xavier immediately recognized it as the Landlord's voice.

If it were before, Xavier would definitely have hidden in his room and not come out.

But today, Xavier was tough!

He swaggered towards the door and opened it.

"Oh, you little brat, you actually dare to open the door?"

The Landlord was wearing slippers and loungewear, stomping her feet as she spoke.

"I haven't broken any laws, why wouldn't I dare to open the door?"

With money, Xavier was indeed a petty person who had achieved his goal, shaking his hair.

The Landlord said impatiently, "What did you do yesterday, you little brat? Were you trying to burn down my house?"

Xavier leaned against the doorframe and calmly said, "I was just burning incense and worshipping Buddha, surely that's not against the rules, is it?"

The Landlord sized Xavier up and down, pursing her lips and shaking her head.

Her expression practically said: A scoundrel like you dares to burn incense and worship Buddha?

Xavier, with his fiery temper, really wanted to argue with her.

"Alright, stop talking nonsense, hurry up and give me the rent," the Landlord extended her hand.

Without a word, Xavier took out his phone and made the transfer.

"Ding! 2000 yuan received!"

The Landlord was stunned for a moment, took out her phone, and saw that it was indeed Xavier's transfer.

She said incredulously, "Xavier, you little brat, have you struck it rich?"

"Just a small fortune!" Xavier said smugly, "Also, I'm informing you that I'm moving today. The extra money is my tip to you."

The Landlord's expression was quite a sight, and Xavier found it incredibly satisfying.

Actually, she wasn't a bad person; she just had a sharp tongue but a soft heart.

After all, if she were truly bad, she wouldn't have repeatedly allowed Xavier to delay paying rent.

Xavier transferring an extra 500 yuan was also a way of repaying her for her care during this period.

After the Landlord left, Xavier began to pack his things, planning to move.

Fortunately, Xavier didn't have too many belongings, and he finished packing quickly.

Two hours later.

Xavier sat on the spacious sofa, looking at the magnificent living room, feeling incredibly content.

"Awesome, this is truly awesome, this is what life is all about!"

Xavier couldn't help but burst out laughing.

[Ding! System friendly reminder: Excluding already invited characters, the Host can now invite two more characters!]

Xavier sat up from the sofa, suddenly having forgotten about this matter.

In other words, besides Furina, he could also invite two allogene characters to be his guests.

And he checked, the current time had been extended to 6 hours.

Xavier didn't hesitate and began his second invitation!

"System, activate!"

Another familiar flash of white light, and Xavier disappeared from the villa.

...

Mondstadt City, Knights of Favonius.

"How is it, Amber? Have you found him?"

Acting Grand Master Qin paced back and forth in her office, looking somewhat anxious.

Amber, standing before her, sighed and shook her head, "Sorry, Acting Grand Master Qin..."

Acting Grand Master Qin didn't blame Amber, as this mission was indeed quite difficult.

She merely pinched her brow to relieve her headache.

"Ha, still got a headache, huh? But don't worry, I believe Eula will definitely bring Klee back."

Kaeya appeared in the office at some point, comforting Qin with a relaxed tone.

It wasn't his problem anyway; comforting was just a matter of moving his lips...

"I hope so," Qin said, crossing her arms.

The reason she was so worried was that the youngest Knight of Favonius—Spark Knight Klee—had caused trouble again.

Klee had only been released from solitary confinement yesterday, but today she had run off to Springvale to fish with bombs.

She was discovered by local residents, who reported her.

Don't let Klee's young age fool you; her strength is truly not something ordinary people can compare to.

After realizing she was "wanted," she disappeared to who knows where.

Even Outrider Amber couldn't find him immediately.

Now, they could only rely on Eula, who was patrolling nearby.

"Wuwuwu, Sister Eula, Klee knows she was wrong..."

Soon after, a dejected voice came from outside the door.

"Click!"

The door opened, and a woman carrying a greatsword, with a full and proud figure, walked in, leading a small girl in red.

That's right, the woman carrying the greatsword was none other than Spindrift Knight Eula.

She might not know that in a world called Blue Star, she had adopted many humanoid dogs.

And the little girl being led by the hand, of course, was our runaway sun, Klee!

Upon seeing Klee, Qin first breathed a sigh of relief, then walked over to her.

"Klee!"

Hearing Acting Grand Master Qin's tone, Klee's small elf ears immediately drooped.

"Acting Grand Master Qin, Klee knows she was wrong~"

Klee clasped her small hands together, trying to use a good attitude of admitting fault to avoid being confined.

"Sigh!" Acting Grand Master Qin massaged her forehead, "You actually ran to the residential area to fish with bombs. You know the consequences, right?"

Klee quickly raised her small head and began to act cute with her moist, big eyes.

"Wuwu, I'm sorry, Acting Grand Master Qin, Klee was super, super careful."

"Absolutely no one was hurt. Please don't put me in solitary confinement, please, please~"

Looking at Klee's cute and innocent face, it was false to say that Acting Grand Master Qin wasn't soft-hearted.

However, at this moment, Kaeya interjected very inappropriately.

"Haha, Klee, I heard the water column from your bomb fishing was only 5 meters high. You were indeed much more careful than last time, oh."

Acting Grand Master Qin, who was already hesitant, now solidified her decision to put Klee in confinement.

Amber and Eula exchanged glances; they didn't understand whether Kaeya was speaking up for Klee or fanning the flames...

Inside the confinement room.

Xavier rubbed his head; he had no idea where this place was.

The room wasn't too spacious, but the most striking feature was the table.

The table was covered with many things: drawings, various parts, and things that looked like alchemical products.

"This can't be some kind of laboratory, but it doesn't quite look like it either."

This was Xavier's first thought.

Just as Xavier was about to take a good look around to figure out where he was, the door suddenly opened.

Perhaps out of instinct, Xavier instantly hid in a corner with a "whoosh."

"Wuwu~"

"I thought this time the bomb fishing wouldn't be discovered. It seems Klee's Bouncy Bombs still need improvement."

"If Mommy were here, maybe she could help Klee develop bombs that won't hurt people but can still fish!"

Xavier's eyes lit up; he immediately recognized it as Klee's voice.

This made Xavier incredibly excited; this was the obedient daughter he had been thinking about day and night!

Xavier originally planned to go out directly and "recognize" her, but if he just went out like that, wouldn't he be seen as a pervert?

Xavier's eyes darted around, and he came up with a good idea!
