Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Fried Fish

Klee did not notice Xavier hiding in the shadows.

As a frequent visitor to the isolation room, Klee was a little disappointed, but she was used to it.

She sat at the long table and picked up a paintbrush.

"Hmm~ This time Klee is going to design a super good Bouncy Bombs, one that won't hurt people, but can still catch fish!"

Klee's execution power was very high; she did what she thought of.

However, just as she was halfway through her drawing, she suddenly heard an unfamiliar voice.

"Child, your name is Klee, right?"

Klee's two small ears immediately perked up, and her little head looked left and right.

"Huh? Who's calling Klee?"

Klee was not scared; instead, she was full of curiosity.

Perhaps this was a child who grew up in love, rarely feeling fear.

"Klee, I am a deity from another world, and I have descended here after sensing your summons."

Xavier covered his mouth with his hand, deliberately creating a somewhat muffled voice.

Klee tilted her head, somewhat confused, and said, "But, but Klee has never summoned a deity, Klee only thinks about summoning her mother."

"Ahem, that's not important. What's important is, isn't Klee curious about another world?"

"Oh, another world… Klee heard Fischl Sis say it sounds like a very interesting place, Klee wants to go!"

Klee was a child after all, and Xavier managed to fool her with just a few words.

"Very good, now I will grant you the qualification to go to another world. Are you willing?"

"Klee is willing!"

After he finished speaking, Xavier slowly walked out from the corner.

Seeing Xavier, Klee was not shy at all and immediately went over to him.

She blinked her big eyes and asked, "Huh? Big Brother, are you the deity from another world?"

Xavier flamboyantly tossed his hair, "What, doesn't he look like it?"

"Not really." Klee shook her head, "Big Brother, you seem a bit weak, and your attire is also very strange."

Xavier felt like his heart had been hit by a hammer; this was too hurtful to his self-esteem!

Children's words are innocent, children's words are innocent…

Then he switched to persuasion mode: "You don't understand, Klee. True deities always return to simplicity."

"Hmm~ Klee doesn't understand…"

Klee put her finger to her mouth and started thinking again.

However, in less than two seconds, she believed Xavier.

"But it sounds like Deity Big Brother is very powerful, Klee wants to go to another world with you!"

Klee raised her hands above her head and started jumping.

Xavier looked at Klee's adorable appearance and couldn't help but pat her little head.

And Klee did not resist Xavier's actions, even seeming to enjoy them.

"Then let's go, Klee, let Deity Big Brother take you to experience another world!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a white light flashed.

[Ding! Congratulations to the Host for successfully inviting Klee!]

When Klee opened her eyes again, she found herself in a very unfamiliar setting.

"Wow, such a big house, such a beautiful house, Klee likes it!"

Klee was so happy that she danced with joy when she saw the unprecedented house.

Xavier also started to laugh, "How about it, I didn't lie to you, did I?"

"Yes!" Klee nodded heavily, "Deity Big Brother didn't lie to Klee, Deity Big Brother is a good person!"

Xavier suddenly felt a bit guilty, after all, he was no deity, and that title was too strange, wasn't it?

So he gently said to Klee, "Klee doesn't have to call me Deity Big Brother, just call me Xavier Big Brother."

"Okay, Xavier Big Brother!"

Facing such an obedient and adorable Klee, Xavier showed a benevolent smile like an old father.

He suddenly remembered that he still had many things to unpack, so he decided to roughly set things up first.

To prevent Klee from getting bored, Xavier turned on the 70-inch big television in the living room.

"Klee, you sit here and watch TV first. Xavier Big Brother will go upstairs for a bit and come down to play with you later, okay?"

"Yes, okay!"

Klee sat on the sofa, dangling her two small feet, and nodded obediently.

Carrying his things upstairs, Xavier muttered to himself.

"It seems Klee is much more obedient than I imagined. It turns out taking care of children isn't that hard after all!"

With this thought, Xavier began to arrange his bedroom.

However, not long after…

"Bang!"

A loud noise came, startling Xavier so much that he almost fell.

He quickly ran downstairs, but Klee was nowhere to be seen in the living room.

A very bad premonition surged in his heart, could it be Klee?

He ran around outside the villa looking for her and indeed found Klee in the backyard.

One must know that Xavier had just moved in, and he had no idea there was a small pond in the backyard.

And the loud noise just now, there was no need to say, it must have been Klee performing her traditional art — catching fish with bombs!

"Yay, Xavier Big Brother's house is great, it even has a pond!"

"Eh… why didn't any fish get blown up?"

"Hmm! Klee knows! It must be that the fish in Xavier Big Brother's house are also very powerful, and need even more powerful Bouncy Bombs!"

Klee said, and took out an even bigger bomb from her backpack.

This made Xavier break out in a cold sweat.

My little ancestor, please spare me!

He lunged forward, stopping Klee before the bomb could be thrown.

Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and began to lecture: "Klee, you can't catch fish with bombs here!"

Klee blinked her big eyes and asked, "Huh? Why not, isn't Xavier Big Brother a deity?"

"Uh, this…"

Xavier really wanted to slap himself. Why did he have to brag about being a deity?

"Well, the main thing is, even if you're a deity, you can't interfere with other people. We have to be low-key!"

Although Xavier's excuse was clumsy, the innocent Klee still believed him.

"Hmm, okay, then Klee will listen to Xavier Big Brother!"

Xavier wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and led Klee back into the house.

As soon as Xavier entered the house, the window of the villa next door opened.

A woman with a face mask poked her head out, looking very puzzled.

"That's strange, it's not even New Year's yet, why is someone setting off firecrackers?"

After returning home, Xavier no longer dared to be careless.

He retracted his previous thoughts, because he found that children were not easy to take care of at all!

Fortunately, his things were almost unpacked, so he could constantly watch Klee.

Since he had just moved, there wasn't much food in the new house.

At noon, he had no choice but to fry two bowls of egg fried rice to make do.

Xavier watched Klee nervously, because he was afraid Klee wouldn't like it.

"Wow, it's so delicious!"

"Xavier Big Brother is great, the food he makes is so delicious!"

After Klee finished eating, she patted her round little belly, very satisfied.

The result was unexpected; Klee loved the egg fried rice Xavier made.

Xavier was also very relieved that his obedient daughter enjoyed his cooking.

Not long after eating, Klee's eyelids started to droop.

"Klee is so sleepy, Klee wants to sleep…"

Xavier couldn't help but smile; she was indeed a child.

He carried Klee to the bedroom, placed her on the bed, and covered her with a blanket.

Looking at Klee's delicate, elf-like face, a sense of happiness welled up in his heart.

However, although, Klee seemed to be an elf originally, right?
