Victor looked at the techniques and raised an eyebrow, surprised as he read the description of the S-rank technique.

'Compared to the S-rank technique, this A-rank one is more useful to me,' Victor thought. The A-rank technique was practical and suited his current situation, unlike the S-rank technique, which he couldn't use at the moment.

"Miss Amanda, that was quick," Victor said when he saw Amanda walking toward them.

"Do you think it takes more than a few minutes to heal some injuries?" Amanda asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Fair enough," Victor shrugged, but his lips twitched when he noticed Ruby staring at him as if she had just seen a ghost.

"Student Ruby, what happened to you? Why are you creating a scene here?" Amanda frowned, her brows furrowing as she noticed some people starting to give Ruby strange looks.

"Ah, sorry..." Ruby snapped out of her daze, blushing when she realized everyone was staring at her, though her eyes still remained fixed on Victor.

"But Victor, that… how is that possible? You learned it in one glance—instantly!" Ruby asked, looking at Victor as if he were some kind of alien creature.

"What are you talking about?" Amanda couldn't help but ask, puzzled by Ruby's exaggerated reaction toward Victor.

Gulp.

Ruby swallowed a mouthful of saliva as she turned to Amanda. "Miss Amanda… Victor learned an S-rank spell from the Grimoire."

Amanda blinked for a few seconds, then her eyes widened sharply as she turned toward Victor.

"Explain," Amanda commanded. Ruby began talking, and by the end of the explanation, Amanda looked thoroughly dumbfounded, staring at Victor with parted lips.

'Heavens, he's becoming more and more outrageous,' Amanda cried inwardly, though she didn't let it show on her face—except for the twitch of her lips.

Ruby, on the other hand, looked at Victor with a different gaze, her eyes gleaming. 'Hah, maybe I've developed a crush on him. Thank the heavens he forgot his memories about Olivia'

"Victor, you do know the value of an S-rank spell, right?" Amanda asked with a furrowed brow.

"Yes," Victor nodded.

"Then why did you give it to her for free? You don't even know her. I mean, you could sell it for hundreds of millions—so why give it to a stranger?" Amanda asked with a raised eyebrow. Even Ruby looked at him curiously, while Victor kept a neutral expression.

'Damn, I did it on impulse. Damn, I lost good money. Well, at least I can sell it later for a high price. Now let's make up some kind of reason.' Victor cried inwardly, his heart aching. The only consolation was that he wouldn't forget the technique and could later sell it to mages or the association.

"She was saying how difficult it was and how no one was able to learn it, not even Rankers, so I wanted to show her how easy it was," Victor said with a shrug, his expression unchanged. The two women, however, were left speechless.

'Easy, my foot. Even I cannot learn it instantly. Damn broken Primogenitor bloodline' Amanda's eyebrows twitched, and a vein bulged on her forehead at his reply, which bordered on arrogance. She clicked her tongue.

"What… just for that reason?" Ruby's jaw hung loose as she looked at him in disbelief, unable to accept that she had gotten an S-rank technique for such a trivial reason.

"Yeah, what did you think?" Victor asked with a raised eyebrow, looking at Ruby neutrally.

'Damn, and I thought he had a crush on me' Ruby's lips trembled as she looked at Victor with gritted teeth and disbelief.

Soon, Victor, Amanda, and Ruby walked toward their destination.

"Why are you coming with us, Student Ruby?" Amanda asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Ah, I already came, so I just decided to tag along. Moreover, I'm pretty sure the others should have already left by now. You don't have a problem with that, do you, Victor?" Ruby said indifferently, then looked at Victor with a smile.

"Suit yourself," Victor said with a shrug. Amanda raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything as they walked past many weapons and artifacts until they stopped in front of a sword glowing with white light.

"This sword is called the Moonlight Saber. It belonged to a ranker who existed thousands of years ago. When he used this technique, his sword glowed like the moon. That's the reason he also had another title: the Moonlight Swordsman. No one else has ever comprehended this technique, and you were the second user. This was also one of the reasons you gained the title of Sword Prodigy," Amanda explained, looking at Victor.

"Moonlight Swordsman, huh," Victor mumbled as he directly activated his Akasha Eye.

"Huh, three arts," Victor took a deep breath.

"What—you already learned it?! How is this possible? You just took a glance!" Ruby cried out, staring at him in disbelief. Even Amanda's lips twitched slightly.

Just as Victor was about to reply—

Rumble

The entire space started to shake violently.
