Chapter 20 - Chapter 19: It was all because of him.

Gazing at the back of mother-daughter leaving, Noah sighed as he slumped back on his chair; exhaustion and dejection of the whole day and thoughts of his son was taking a toll on him.

"Everything is going to be ok. Don't fret much over it. These two had come as a invisible blessing in our lives at the time of difficulties. Especially that little girl. You will see, tomorrow will be a new day and a new hope. After every darkness, comes brighter light and the same will happen for us tomorrow." Jenny said; her hands wraping around Noah's arm as she leaned her head on his shoulder, her eyes holding an undisguised hope for tomorrow.

"I hope what you are saying becomes the truth." Noah said; leaning and keeping his chin on Jenny's head as both got lost in their own thoughts.

On the other side,

Gazing at her hushed and silent mother in the taxi, Aria was very nervous. Sophia had not spoken even a single word from the moment they had left the restaurant. Aria wanted her Sophia's opinion on whatever occured before but was quite dreadful to see her reaction.

Worried and scared, Aria flumped back on the car seat, folding her arms, pouting her lips as they made their way back to their home.

Infact, Aria's all worries were actually unbidden and uninvited. Sophia didn't have any such thought nor she was angry. She was just trying to comprehend and grasp everything from her point of view, leading her to appear absentminded infront of Aria; scaring the poor soul to no end.

Soon they reached theor destination and made their way back to their apartnent. Giving her mother the time and space she needed, Aria went to freshen up and change out of clothes into a nightsuit. By then, Sophia had also analyzed everything.

Getting onto the bed under the duvet, Aria dipped into Sophia's embrace.

"Mom, what happened? You haven't spoken a single word to me since we left the restaurant. Do you not agree with my idea?" Aria asked, tilting her head upwards as she looked at Sophia intuitively.

"It is nothing like that princess. Your idea is really great. What actually I am worried about is the capitial for this project and furthermore even if I somehow manage to gather all the required funds, how can we guarantee that Mr Noah will agree to your plan?" Sophia pointed out her troubled and apprehensive thoughts; her arms tightening around Aria.

"Mom, you don't have to fret over this. Since I purposed the idea, I definitely have taken everything under consideration. We have a total of 1.8 million$ combing the balance on both our cards from which 1 million$ will be used to acquire the restaurant.

Aside from that, we will have to give minimum 100,000$ to uncle Noah for his training along with his team. The next is the reconstruction and decoration, it will aproximately cost 1 million$ to 1.5 million$ but since we don't need to pay it in full, it will still be under our budget.

And by the time we will need to apy the remaining payment, my investment in stocks will also surge bringing us a huge profit from which we can make the remaining payments at that time. As for whether uncle Noah will agree or not, according to me there is 99 percent chances that he will agree." Aria laid out her plans in detail; trying to build up Sophia's trust in her proposal.

Sophia didn't reply, continuing to ponder over everything. Though Aria's plan sound great, according to her, they are all best possibilities and things can go the other way as well.

"Ok, lets not discuss about this any further. It is already very late and I am also very tired and sleepy. We will anyway meet uncle Noah at the hospital when we visit brother Henry. We can discuss it further in detail with them later." Aria said; putting a fullstop to Sophia's wandering thoughts for the time being.

Sophia nodded in agreement as they both fell into deep sleep; exhaustion of the entie day finally taking a toll on their bodies.

The next morning,

Sophia sleep got broken by the vigorous sound of her daughter creating a havoc in the room. Yawning and stretching out her arms, Sophia got up, wanting to see how her always lazy and sleepyhead daughter not only woke up early in the morning but was also being so loud. Looking upwards, the sight infront of her eyes left Sophia in a great shock.

The whole room was a mess. The clothes thron here and there, different pairs of shoes scattered around the floor. Differnet accessories lying in every corner of the room. It was as if an earthquake came and disintegrated everything causing complete chaos in the room.

"Aria Wilson, what the hell is this? Why is the room looking like a dumping ground? And why in the world did you even wake up this early? It is just six in the morning." Sophia shreiked, the exhaustion already draining her body as the thought of cleaning the entire mess came to her mind. She hadn't even woken up properly and her daughter had created such a mess for her to clean and organize.

Uneffected by her mother's slobbish behavior, Aria continued to jump from here to there, her excitment having no bounds as the thought of meeting her brother Henry sparkled through her.

"Hurry up mommy. Quickly wake up and get ready. Till then, I will also clean the room. Comeon mom, speedup or else we are going to be late for the hospital." Aris exclaimed, her energy and exhaliration soaring high in the sky as she got back to work of cleaning the room.

Sophia could already feel and predict the exhaustion she was going to face through out the day by just a single glance at the intensity of her daughter's eagerness.

Getting off the bed, Sophia went to the bathroom while Aria cleaned the mess she had created in the first place.

Exiting the bathroom, Sophia glanced at the neat and tidy room ibfront of her and huffed. She really wanted to know what exactly was there in the hospital that energized her lazy daughter to such extent.

Getting ready, Sophia made her way to the kitchen, cooking a simple breakfast for them. Looking at her daughter who was eating like a hamster, Sophia chuckled in amusement.

"Slow down princess. N matter how fast you eat, we won't leave till 10. So divert your energy somewhere else." Sophia told Aria; amused by her daughter's reaction to her words.

Aria slumbed back on the chair as if someone had a pin pierced a balloon and all the air had rushed out, leaving nothing but emptiness behind.

After breakfast, Sophia got back to her house chores while Aria maintained her laid back posture on the sofa in the living rrom through out the tome period; huffing and crossing her arms at time intervals and glancing at the clock and huffing again. The time seemed to move the slowest when she wanted to pass fast.

The clock finally hit 10 as Sophia and Aria got into their pre-booked taxi and made their way to the hospital.

On the other side, Early in the morning,

Noah decided to keep his restaurant closed for the day as he along with his wife, Jenny made their way to the hospital where their son, Henry was admitted.

Entring the ward, they gazed at Henry lying on the bed, his left leg being held upwards with the help of a set of straps and pulleys, the peeping of the machines at the side constantly reminding him of his current situation, his face pale in pain but still a smile bloomed on his face as his eyes flickered to them at the door.

"Mom dad, you guys are here." Henry exclaimed, happy to see his parents coming to visit him.

Noah just nodded, no words coming out of his mouth. Only he knew how much his heart ached whenevr he saw his only son on a hospital bed with a high chance of him in becoming a handicap. Henry also knew his father's thought and didn't say much about it. Jenny also sat down on the chair beside the bed; taking Henry's hand in her own, lightly tapping it as if passing him the courage and the strength to overcome this.

"Dad, how come you are here to visit me today? Don't you have to open the restaurant?" Henry asked, confused by his father's unannounced visit completely unaware that Noah planned to sell the restaurant.

Noah and Jenny exchanged a glance before Jenny sighed; already predicting the reaction Henry will have upon learning about their decision.

"Henry, We plan to sell the restaurant and have even found a trustworthy and reliable buyer." Jenny announced shocking Henry to the very extreme.

"What!" Henry shouted, his emotions out of control as he tried his best to adjust his mind. Of course he realised the reason behind this decision. It was all because of him.
