"Alright, enough with the shock—one day, you might reach that level too," Shuo said, waving off their disbelief like it was nothing. "Rias, start thinking about how to master destruction magic. But first, let me boost your magic reserves."
He flashed a mischievous grin. "Just don't freak out too much…"

Ding! Success!
A surge of crimson energy erupted from Rias. Her entire body glowed with a radiant, life-infused light—magic pouring into every cell, strengthening her from the inside out.
Her destructive aura swelled, doubling, tripling, then shooting past anything she'd ever felt before. Everyone except Shuo stared, stunned, as the air itself seemed to vibrate with her power.
When Rias finally opened her eyes, she looked dazed—then realized what she was sensing. "Shuo… what did you do to me? My magic is nearly at Ultimate-Class Devil level! Am I dreaming?"
Shuo shrugged, all innocence. "I told you not to be so surprised, didn't I?"
Rias rolled her eyes, still breathless. "How do you expect me to stay calm? That's a whole rank up! Shuo, what did you even do?"
He grinned wider. "Just think of it as a cheat code. So—do you believe I can train you all to roast that turkey now?"
Rias's cheeks warmed, a hint of awe in her gaze. "I've always believed in you, Shuo. You're the one who'll save me."
She composed herself, curiosity flickering. "So, is this your plan? Just force-boost our magic and bodies, one by one?"
Shuo shook his head. "Rias, you're a special case. I can't spam that power for everyone. The others will get training tailored to their own strengths."
"Go practice your destruction magic solo for now. With a sudden boost like that, you'll need time to adjust."
"Got it, Shuo. I'll leave the rest to you." Rias headed off, still marveling at her newfound strength.
Shuo gathered Akeno, Koneko, Kiba, and Kiyome. "Let's get started."
He turned to Kiba first. "Alright, let's figure out your training plan."
Kiba nodded, eager. "I'm ready. Train me however you see fit."
"Your Sacred Gear is Sword Birth. There's an old Eastern saying: 'Of all martial arts, speed is king—only speed breaks all defenses.' So, your path is speed."
Kiba considered this, nodding thoughtfully.
"Exactly. Your training is simple—weighted drills for sword technique and movement. In battle, you'll focus your strikes for maximum impact, while being too fast for enemies to react. That's how you'll become untouchable."
Kiba's eyes lit up with understanding. "I see! That makes sense." He started to rush off for his weighted practice.
Shuo stopped him with a laugh. "Hold on, Kiba. Wait until I set everyone's plan. Then you'll all train together. I'll buff you as a group—one week from now, your strength will skyrocket."
Kiba nodded, falling back in line.
Koneko piped up, curiosity sparkling. "So, do I train like Kiba too?"
Shuo smiled. "Your piece is Rook—close combat specialist. Similar, but I'll teach you a unique set of martial arts moves myself."
Koneko nodded, satisfied.
Shuo turned to Akeno, his tone shifting. "As for you, Akeno—the Priestess of Thunder. Your specialty is lightning, right?"
Akeno smiled, eyes shining. "That's right. I'm pretty strong."
Shuo grinned. "I'm no slouch with lightning myself. Show me your combat style and techniques. Let's see what needs work."
Akeno glanced at the crackling electricity around Shuo, surprised but intrigued.
Just to be safe, Shuo layered a new, reinforced barrier over Rias's original. "Alright, show me what you've got!"
Akeno flew skyward, magic swirling. "Watch closely, Shuo—this is my best move. I channel my magic to summon lightning, sometimes even ice or fire, but my specialty is calling down thunder from above!"
She unleashed a torrent of lightning, sweeping across the forest. Thunder crashed against the barrier, the ground scorched bare in its wake.
Shuo called up to her, "Alright, Akeno, you can come down—I've seen enough."
Akeno landed, expectant. "Well, Shuo? How'd I do?" Her confidence was clear—she wanted praise.
Shuo nodded. "You're strong, Akeno—High-Class Devil level. But…" He paused, then sighed. "You're way too reckless with your magic. Big attacks, huge area coverage, simple brute force. How many times can you actually pull that off before you're drained?"
Akeno's smile faltered, lips twitching. She wanted to protest, but the truth hit home—her magic reserves weren't endless.
Shuo continued, "You need to master control. Learn to direct lightning with precision, not just power. Develop new techniques—your arsenal's way too basic right now."
He rose into the air, electricity crackling around him. "Watch how I use lightning."
In a flash, Shuo demonstrated the full arsenal: God's Judgment, Thunderbird, Thunder Beast, Lightning Cage—even the close-combat Chidori from the ninja world.
Hundreds of lightning bolts erupted overhead, filling the sky with roaring, writhing dragons of electricity. The barrier shimmered, the air itself alive with power.
These were techniques far beyond anything Akeno had shown—refined, devastating, and beautiful.
Akeno stared, awestruck. The difference was undeniable.
